Let me know what you think in the comments below!
Also!!! If you have a full system and are willing to come to the Temecula area, hit me up. Would love to get as many systems as I can record with the same setup in the same environments etc.

I have the Kooks Longtube headers on mine along with AWE track edition axlebacks
yours still sounds the best.
Headers under throttle and SWCB at idle
Yours growl man it's sounds awesome!!!!
Blackheart my fav in this roundup.
But I have to admit the Stainless works is SO throaty.... no rush deciding.
What was the red one?
He asked to not be int he video.
stainless works hands down sounds the meanest
;)
Alonzo I fully agree! This is why I also went with the Stainless Works Catback system for my 2016 Camaro 2SS. The sound is AMAZING.
Great to hear Courtland, thanks!
@@courtlandsummers8559 spo you deleted the secondary cats and kept the primaries with this system right??
I love the hooker black heart catback the most tbh
What’s a test pipe?
Removes the primary cats.
Yes hands down I vote yours the Stainless Works is the best.
jerry ramon I liked this one too.
Are those factory wheels?
+ProjectRecon1 on which car?
Lethal not sure it's at 4:58. Love that car. It yours? Currently deciding between a 2SS, GT350, hellcat or m3/m4. Love the 2SS for the value tho.
Def 2ss
Yours sounds the best hands down
I have kook Long headers and i Will add the borla atak exhaust to make it louder
CALI CAMARO 🤭
What was the deepest one to you?
I do like the SW, I was actually looking to get SW set. I just don't want to let go of the warranty yet. The Hookers sounds good too.
U won't lose your warranty
Hmmm. Really? Not what Chevrolet said. I want to go cat back and was thinking of cat delete.
+Brandon Curry you will 100 percent lose your exhaust warranty...
Oh well yea with a cat delete because u have to get a tune. But with just a catback trust me u won't. Yea you will lose the exhaust warranty but there's not really a need for an exhaust warranty if you are not using the stock one anyway. But it won't void your entire warranty.
Brandon Curry yes with just a cat back you WILL loose the warranty. Without a cat delete you will still loose the warranty. Call GM and ask for yourself. I did five weeks ago
Best video ever. I like the stainless works the Best, especially on start up and idle. Now all I need is a Camaro.
The audio sounded good to me.
I really don't like the Hooker setup... not my taste. I am genuinely surprised with how the stock NPP sounds, however, they finally did something right with that (hah) do you know anyone who has the Borla S-type or Borla Atak?
I have a bead on a few people. Trying to sync time with them.
Thats What I'm really interested in. The Borla Atak vs the Stainless Works.
I'm also interested in hearing what the Borla systems sound like in comparison.
Working on finding some cars with it installed. Might even just buy it and install it on mine to see how it sounds :) (Will take awhile as it isn't cheap)
I got a 2016 thinking about changing the exhaust but the test pipe sound the best with the GM exhaust system
The best one the bkack heart
Have to say yours sounded the best!
The Blackheart really tickles my pickle.
Thanks for the reply
+Javid Chachoo NP
What do you mean by "test pipe"? Does that mean there's no cats?
+Matty_1C3 correct
I have a zl1 1le and I just wanna get headers nothing else no cam nothing. What do I need to know before getting headers on my daily 1LE. Thanks
Great Video...well put together. 1st: Stainless works, 2nd: Kooks, 3rd: Blackheart, 4th: Gm dual
+El Patron Thanks!
The Kooks sounded good revving. Stainless works sounded great on idle
Borla Atak. That is all...
i can't decide.....they all sound great
I like the stock exhaust it comes with
Yours sounds wicked! loved it! Keep it going!
+Todzilla386 Thanks man
55tt
You have me almost sold on SW. I've never known the SW name until you bought it, but it sounds amazing! I want to hear it with the cats. If it sounds anything like this I'm SOLD! I heard a video of a cammed, corsa exhaust 6th gen (I'll tag you in it on IG) and it sounded amazing too.
That car is more than cam'ed. But yeah it sounded great. its crazy how the system, I got makes it sound like it has a cam, just shows how bottled up this LT1 is.
+Lethalhammer I'm pretty sure I'm going to cam mine. It is my daily, but I would love that choppy idle. Especially with an aftermarket exhaust it'll sound amazing. I don't think anything out there sounds as good as a cammed American V8.
Hi I would really appreciate if u could please give me some info if a 2016 camaro fitted with dual mode exhaust (not with npp which is an optional extra)can be fitted with dual mode exhaust (npp)
+Javid Chachoo you can't add NPP after the fact. It has to come installed from the factory.
Will the catback sound different from the axle back ? Because I have the 2016 and I noticed it had no resanator but it had an xpipe.
+ss rat yes... typically a cat back will have a better Xpipe and larger pipes. Also most cat backs eliminate the 2ndary cats.
Lethal thanks man going with the full catback.
I would love to hear the Corsa Sport or Corsa Extreme options next to these and Borla's offerings
If I can find them, I will record and post them.
SW system sounds the best, closely followed by the NPP/Cat delete.
SW wins at idle for sure.
Thanks for the vid.
those headers change the tone slightly making it way better, for me kooks is the best.
Hey I'm wondering what I can do to add more horsepower to my 2017 Camaro 2ss for under $2,500
e85 and a tune plus a CAI and get the sound fixed with a new axle back exhaust.
Stainless works it is!!! Thanks sledge!
Yeah, your car sounds better than the other 2 cars. I love your car bro. Wish I had my Camaro again now I drive a GMC truck
The rims you have in the back are those for Gen 5 or Gen 6 Camaro
Yes I'm a noob but what's CAI
+Kyle Bernardez cold air intake
Excellent video format on both of these videos, all exhaust companies should have videos like this
On the Looks Longtube Headers vehicle (which... Damn that sounds good) where can I find the Chevrolet rear logo like that?
Stainless works👍
:D
Yeah I feel that's the exaust that scream I'ma v8 the most. Love it more then the Corsa extreme which sounds amazing but kinda generic I see a ton a ton of poser v8s in my area they sound great but I know a few driver who said they wanted it to sound like a v8 (cost, fuel etc ) main reason why they didn't go that route tbh I say fuck it it's part of the package you get a v8 you understand it's a thristy bitch
Good video. Thanks man.
I just had the s type put on my 17 ro ss and I'm not that impressed. I'm going to do a sec-cat delete and see what happens.
Stnlss Wrks is what i wanted but they were on 3 to 4 month delay.
If I get headers it'll be too loud.
I'm getting frustrated.
If somebody could answer this for me that would be great. I know this is an old video but the vehicle that has GM performance exhaust and the cat delete, is it a 6 speed or auto?
Can you do any videos on ss 6th gen camaro without dual mode exhaust i can't find any on youtube?
Is the one with the kooks headers a stick? it sounds like it revs higher than the others
In person when actually flooring it which would you say is louder? Stainless works or Hooker Blackheart? Im stuck between the two but will be getting test pipes also with whichever exhaust I go with. Also have you heard of any droning issues with these exhausts for the A8?
+Alex Roy Yes... SW will drone and SW is much louder.
Thanks for the quick response! Is it possible to avoid when just cruising by possibly keeping it at a low rpm and in stealth mode or is it something you just have to deal with? Im currently looking into exhausts right now so I can order one by the end of the month. My goal is to find something that can be quiet as, if not quieter, than the stock exhaust's stealth mode at its quietest but will really scream when I'm WOT.
+Alex Roy the Stainless Works will quiet down at cruise, but it is loud
Lethal okay and final question, would you say one had more of a difference when the valves were closed vs open or were they about the same?
+Alex Roy SW
Borla atk is the best
I would go with the stainless works catback system with the Kooks headers. That would sound wicked
Did you ever had to used extension on the 02 sensor if so where can I find them
man I can't wait to pick one these lightly used, they're pretty much more practical corvettes lol
Just about
Anyone have American Racing catless long tubes with Corsa Sport?
Stainless works sounds greater
your videos get better and better with every release man. Good job keep it up
Hey Lethal I know this is an older video but I just got Kooks catback exhuast installed paired with Kooks 1 7/8 headers. The car sounded amazing with the headers to npp but now with the full system it's a little too quiet. My tuner says it will get louder once broken in... how much of a marginal increase should I expect after break in on the new parts?
Considering going the muffler delete route.
I like the SW idle and revs the best but man I still like the cat delete NPP sound from the last video when driving...it just sounded monstrous!
Dang I'm really digging the SW sound. By the way is that the stock rear diffuser in the wall? If you don't need t send it my way, I'll pay the shipping lol
+Juve Madrigal I sold it already
Yours sounds so awesome! Especially when it idles! Nice meeting you at the park on the 4th, man! It really made my day!
The pleasure is mine. Thanks for even recognizing me :)
If they cut off the huge tub muffler at the back the exhaust will crackle when they get off the gas. Yes they'll lose the active exhaust but the crackling sounds great 👍🏾
CJ's Camaro is there a video for this?
you don't even need an aftermarket exhaust with the new active dual system.. sounds plenty nice to me!
+1warcquel Subjective...
1warcquel it does sound very nice, but it can always be improved. In the future I'm going with the stainless works catback or magnaflow catback since in my opinion they sound the best.
Stainless works sounds the best
Have you heard of a exhaust conversion for the 6th gens without the npp exhaust to being able to swap to a full functioning npp exhaust?
black heart and the stainless works
the stainless works sounds awesome at idle, but none of the cat backs compare to the sound of long tubes when revving. even with the stock muffler in place
They all sound very similar....the headers just makes it a little louder.
In person they all have their own sound.
Love it, love it, love it man... nice work!
@lethal... did the gm npp have an intake?
Not sure
Great video Lethal. I'm sticking to my first choice.. you definitely have the best sounding car. I was surprised to hear long tube headers made that big of a difference.
Nice, i like the black widow mufflers too they sound really good too but in this video i like the stainless steel works the best👍🏿👍🏿
The Kooks tho 🤤
I like the SW and the stock cat delete the best. Idle sounds nasty with the SW. But the popping of the stock setup is awesome. Btw white is a popular choice I see. As you can tell I have one as well. When are you going to get some Dyno time sledge?
Working on it. My schedule feel apart.
+Lethalhammer ok thanks, can't wait to see what your putting down. May have to copy you😬
Stainless works definately has the loudest idle. I feel like the revs were limited though, was the SW an automatic? Either way I'm already decided on SW for my Z 😈
+Jonathan T It was an Aa8
Lethalhammer Yeah so it was probably rev limited. I hate that about autos lol. We need to get a tune to really clear our throats.
Hooker was the best. Stainless was the loudest. It’s a difference to me lol
To me the Kooks takes it with the SSW and Hooker both close on its heels. I'd like to hear the Kooks with a full catless setup in the comparo. The NPP sounded good, just quiet.
Is the Hooker Blackheart catback system the single muffler design or the dual muffler design? Great video btw!
Hey man I just recently got my Camaro and would like to see where it is all you guys get together. I'm down south in San Diego.
Up in Temecula 1st Saturday every month.
Lethal let me know where specifically next time see if I can join you guys
Hey I was thinking about doing a muffler delete for my stock v6 for now, have you heard anything about having bad drone on the highway speeds since it's my daily?
kooks all day I love the raspy sound it gives
I like that hollow sound that the kooks headers give. Stainless Works has a nice deep tone from start to idle. Hooker has a deep tone, but not the rumble I like. I'm sure they all sound better in person . Stock one has the quietest idle but better rumble, gurgle and pop. It's between the kooks and stock for me. Which ones are manual and which ones are automatic? I know what yours is. Thanks for the video.
Stainless is the best
It definitely a good video, sw kinda my favorite what's the drone / cruising highway sound like? That is important to me too
Xforce Full engine back exhaust sounds better than ALL of those exhaust systems. And Quality is exceptional as well. PLUS....you can control the loudness via adjustable mufflers.
Dude no comparison urs sounds 20million times better then the rest
Hey, Thanks a lot for posting this video. I am trying to pick what exhaust I am going to put on my 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS. When I bought the car I was given a choice of extras for the car and I picked the GM PERFORMANCE EXHAUST.. Lol that's what they call it anyway. But I am thinking about just buying the KOOKS LTH and hooking them up to that system already on the car. My question is since my car is a 2010 and it is not like all the ones on the video are way newer with dual mode exhaust, will it sound like the GM NPP? Just wondering. Thanks again.
You do a super job !! Your vids give me goose bumps every time they hit the throttle !! I have a 2016 Camaro 2LT RS Hyper Blue Metallic and I love it !!
6th gens sound like trucks, 4th gens are where its at
Guys dont believe what you hear, I installed kooks long tube headers , the same as the one in the video, It does not sound the same.
stainless
Thanks for this video!! They all sound great but can't wait to get my kooks LT's bolted up to my npp exhaust. Would you happen to know where the white camaro (not yours) got his "Chevrolet" trunk lid emblem? Looks way better than the bow tie back there
I have no idea.
Great video your car sounds good no doubt about that, but for me I really like the GM system most of all just my opinion nothing wrong with either of the systems just a matter of preference .
+RobQc sounds good to me.
Tough call. I'm gonna say the SW and a very close 2nd The Kooks. They all actually sound good.
Damn I'm digging those white rims on the car with the kooks
GM and Stainless works toss up for me. Kooks is loudest, but requires long tube headers to match that sound. Doesn’t sound “best,” imo.
Kooks!!👊
Jim S I have long headers kooks
CALI CAMARO do you have green cats
No
SW on Point 💪
Love the sound of the LT1. That said, SW sounds great, just needs more crackle. Doesn't sound like you can go wrong with any setup, though👍
I love it
