So people in Houston really didn’t like the Neptunes beats on Slim Thug’s album? I thought he sounded great on them. People in Texas wasn’t complaining about Scarface rapping on different type of beats. Even Bun B rapped on different beats but some people didn’t like that neither.
Originally nah. Pharrell was so different soundwise than what was happening in Houston at the time. The album worked out but I think that was the only time Slim worked with him.
My thing about him being busted is, why didn’t Charles let Ali communicate with him directly? It’s old news and a story to tell now that he’s out but that’s wild to me.
