I love how Roy moved on and asked "you're not even going to try to go out with him?"
serious character development there
or he is sabotaging Jim's current relationship
In such a gay way
No cuz I literally said the same exact thing to my ex when I talked to her months after she cheated. What’s the point of cheating and breaking up if you’re not even gonna commit to it? Did it all for no reason
@@potatotuna7988 Typical actually. Because it was about cheating, not a relationship with the person.
@@potatotuna7988 Some people just wanna have the freedom to get laid with different and new people. Not always about being in a relationship cuz then you lose the freedom of diversity and flexibility
I always think it’s so funny how when Roy got mad after Pam told him about Jim at Poor Richard’s. Roy’s brother just comes out of nowhere and just helps him reck the place, literally NO questions asked 😂🤣
He was still mad about the jet-ski's, you can hear him say it 😂
I've been thinking of that. When Roy gets mad someone ends up getting hurt real bad. Maybe Roy ends up in jail, or even prison because of it. So he's probably found that if he starts wrecking things instead of people, it works out better for everyone involved....except for the owner of the wrecked stuff.
His brother jumping in to help him wreck stuff was probably an act of compassion and loyalty. They'd probably been down that road a number of times before. Once he's blown off his steam, they can get away before the cops arrive. Only person who loses is the bartender/owner but who cares about him.
Bars come and go but the important thing is Roys well-being.
@@RaptorFromWeegeethe hell you on about 😂
I don’t blame Roy for being pissed
@@bullshark3771
Yeah but reacting like that is crazily immature
Low key Kevin putting his dukes up to protect Pam when Roy starts screaming at her in the bar is an awesome detail. Kevin was always the boi
The way he looked scared but still trying to protect her 💔😢
Never noticed that, what a legend. Kevin my man.

5:00 that conversation between Jim and Michael hit very hard. Michael was always rooting for one of his best friends and encouraged him to never give up.
Definitely!
Yeah, I’m in Jim’s shoes right now. I literally know how he feels about Pam. Because I feel the same way about a girl that is taken too. I could describe her just like Jim described Pam.
@@ItsnoahscottI wish you luck
That stretch of silence between Jim and Pam on the “booze cruise” is one of the most powerful moments in the show!!!
His look of pure longing. Can't misread that. 🥺

I've never noticed this before! I love this now
The best part of this is how quickly Dwight saves Jim from a beating and Roy from jail and assault charges
Dwight, the same guy who body slammed Ryan to the ground and nearly gave his boss a concussion ended up being the sane mediator 😭😭 he is truly a character lol
Also kinda shot Andy in the foot 😆
The best part! Hilarious
He _has_ been waiting for a moment like that for 8 years
I like what they did with Roy. They didn’t dehumanize him for making mistakes. He’s just a guy. He knows he can be better.
And he became better; plus he didn’t marry a cheater
@@bushdid911jetfuelcantmelts4 OHH Face!
Not like he was better, he would definitely be a guy who would beat his wife after coming home drunk. @@bushdid911jetfuelcantmelts4
@@VCthaGOATdunkerclean your face, it’s got shxt on it
Pam literally cheated on him how did he make a mistake?
Never noticed the detail of Pam dropping the fact that she hates being called “Pammy” only for in a later episode Roy calls her that at the diner when apologizing
It was their thing and she meant alot to him. It wasnt meant to be mean.
@BlackDiamond2718, it was Roy's thing, not Pam's a huge difference.
I love how they all so protective of each other, Dwight with Jim, Jim with Karen, Oscar who step up when Roy approaches Angela and Kevin with Pam 🥺
True! I didn’t notice when Oscar got up slightly in front of Angela.
Also Angela slightly grabbed Oscars elbow.
Well they all work in the same office for years, they’re like family at this point. And families always got each other’s back 👌
The way Jim was about to pour it out to Pam in front of his date is crazy
I just noticed this!
Yeah, that whole thing was pretty shitty of him, she’s was engaged, his date and her fiancé were both right there, and then he broke up with his date super coldly in a place where she couldn’t get away from the situation
@@sageauthor31he was also pretty drunk. not his best moment for sure. but you could feel the energy through the screen that he was finally ready to say something. even if he shouldn’t.
Jim taking Katie on the booze cruise and then dumping her half way through it was an all time douchebag move.
I can’t deny that, but put yourself in Jim’s shoes. He just had received some devastating news, and his emotions were pretty raw. Katie didn’t help matters any by being confrontational. He was pushed into a corner.
@@JBM425 Katy didn’t do anything. And if I was in Jim’s shoes, I would have waited a day. I wouldn’t have dumped her on a boat, in the middle of my work function that I invited her to.
@jrd7382no, but you can help where, when and how you break up with someone
it was a W move lol
@jrd7382that's right! I agree! In fact, he should've spat in Katie's face too! Because Pam's his soulmate!
Man the conversation at 16:00 hits. Roy finally seeing she would be happier with Jim and seeing her struggle with Jim being 'taken' now
Still so funny how michael tries really hard to keep jims secret
Fr, he really tried doe lmao
15:00 Angela actually grabs on to Oscar's arm when Roy approaches. Such a sweet rare little moment.
I could never tell if Jim was an extrovert or an introvert. He could be very confident but at times get really awkward and uncomfortable.
Most people are both depending on the situation
True! I'm like a vibe connection type person, if the vibe isn't there, I'm totally to myself, if the vibe IS there, imma socialize and have a good time with everyone!
Someone gave him the ENFJ personality type but I have an ENTJ friend who’s like him but is less extroverted than Jim, I think Jim just can be quiet if he doesn’t think talking is productive to him or the situation
He’s always reminded me of Mordecai from regular show idk why lol
He’s definitely an extrovert, but like many men (including yours truly), it can be difficult coming up with something to say to a woman, especially in a watershed moment that could change a relationship forever.
I thought Karen is too good for Jim. She’s smart and confident, until she got into a relationship with a man who has feelings for someone else, which made her anxious and insecure throughout their relationship.
No, she became more confident with Jim but unlike Pam, she did had a personality. Pam is, a lot of the times, just an extension of Jim's personality.
When Jim's s- hit the fan, Karen was distraught but not lost.
@@redacted2275 Not fair. Pam is just more aloof and introverted. I know lots like her.
I only recently learnt about the beef of the actress that plays karen with 2pac shakur^^
Karen was too good for Jim and Jim was too good for Pam.
@@promofe16How was Jim too good for Pam?
When roy had his drunken rage at the bar i always thought it was so funny that his brother or friend just joined in breaking everything.
As someone who's witnessed a similar incident. It's only funny on the show. In real life when two men get violent towards you at the same time it is horrifying
I feel for Katie man. She seemed really nice. And so many of us know what it feels like to be her. Nothing is wrong with her…just terrible luck
That Roy scene never fails to crack me up.
Dwight and Oscar are so precious for the way the both protected the office/Angela.
lets not forget kevin
I always loved that Kevin was ready to fight Roy in the bar
When you see Jim and Karen having fun at the wedding when Pam stepped out, this is a hint as to what their relationship would have been like had the Stamford branch never closed. Put Pam back in the picture, though (such as when Jim was slow dancing with Karen but spied Pam at the table), it’s clear who he really wanted to be with.
Just before Roy is about to attack Jim pushes Karen to the side to guard her from Roy's punch. Dwight saved the situation, but hats off to Jim for thinking on his feet about the best way to protect his girlfriend
yesss, I've never seen anyone mention this, thank you
That would mean his face would have been defenseless against Roy's punch and it would have been a direct hit. There's no question Jim would have went down, maybe already unconcious. Would Roy continue to pound him? Who knows.
@@VCthaGOATdunkerso are you saying that Jim should've let Karen get punched to protect his own face? I'm so confused
Kevin's band is actually really good.
I wouldn’t go that far.
@@junghunt8645I would.😊
@@junghunt8645Funm fact is that Brian Baumgartner didn't know how to play drums before that storyline. As it was stated in Office Ladies Podcast, he took some lessons, but his playing was not good enought, so the sound of his drums is added in post. (At least in Phyllis Wedding episode.) He is very convincing as mimicking his drumming, I was sure he really does it.
"I would save the receptionist."
Good thing Toby didn’t find the rest of the weapons Dwight hid around the office💀
The video was mostly an ‘ode’, to Jim and Pam. Even tho they didn’t show it, loved drunk Pam at the Dundee’s and she actually did grab Jim and kiss him. One amusing moment in the aftermath of Dwight pepper spraying Roy to keep him from attacking Jim was Angela, who wasn’t there to witness it, but heard about, got someone to describe it to her for a ‘vicarious thrill’
Saw Kevin at 11:40 trying to protect Pam from harm. Wow, he’s a charm.
He said “Wow… I mean you were a friend “ 😂 Jim was shooook 😂😂😂

@@troyebeyonce18:36
Roy’s not even a bad guy. He was just ignorant, probably raised into it too. The personal growth is nice to see in a show, because most ignorant people stay that way for the rest of their lives.
I’ve watched and rewatched the Office countless times and from this video I only NOW realize Roy calls Pam “Pammy” when he apologizes to her at the cafe 😳😂 I always wondered why she had said during the previous interview “and don’t call me Pammy!” I always thought it was just a name she came up with to quote herself and wanted to make it clear that she didn’t like it so it didn’t become a nickname. But now it makes so much more sense 😩 this show is 💯🌟
You can see glimpses of humanity and romance in Roy sometimes
No person is 100% good or a 100% bad. And I think the way the Office portrays this is what makes it so realistic
Title leads one to think this would be 98% Meredith.
absolutely
Ok I love how Oscar got in front of Angela when Roy approached them.
'Not that that's wrong 👀"😂😂
Man i really wanted to see that part. Every time someone camera stares is a win. Especially characters you don’t expect it from. Like jan, roy, michael, and kevin.
Remember 2 things from this video: Oscar stood to atleast try and protect Angela, and Dwight protected Jim, his enemy. But then again, the enemy of his enemy is Dwight's friend...
I feel for Roy’s pain, I think he did actually love Pam, and wanted something with her, but it died. He was able to turn himself around though
It didn't simply die, Roy killed it himself
@@sw-gsIs this something u made up or told in the series?
He didn’t love her. No way. He was too immature, and i guess he noticed too late
@@RatpaaI don’t get how people sympathize with him when he clearly wasn’t very good to Pam and has a massive temper. He trashed the bar, screamed at Pam, got arrested, and tried to punch Jim in the face when he found out he kissed Pam. He also showed his temper in the office basketball game.
It may have started out that way but I think they both settled and were waiting it out. Plus a 3 year engagement, he waited just a tad bit too long
Love the symbolism in Jim and Pam also getting pepper sprayed. In a sense they had a hand in all those problems
I absolutely loved the editing here. That was amazing. Please do this type of editing more often.
When Roy gets a better character redemption arc than Andy
14:44 Dwight has Jims back.
Roy and Katie might've been good together 😂
Im surprised they never made it work but then again it was a while

15:35 gets me so good😂
Say what you will about Michael Scott, but the man knew how to party
“Do you think that’ll ever be us?” “No.”
Kevin singing in falsetto in the background throughout is such a nice touch
8:56 that close up on Jim was brutal! It's so clear that he was forcing himself to be into it!
I think this is a really interesting way to portray a storyline - I really liked the editing :)
Just wanna say I adore the UK Office, but you Americans out did us this time. Love how Dwight maces half the office defending Jim.
"I dunno. Let's break up."
Rip it off like a band-aid, Jim. That's the way to do it.
Hey Jim...how 'bout an "I"m sorry too, Roy"?
1:41
This shot with Pam always makes me crack up.
Love how in that last scene Jim decided to trust Pam
Kevin and Dwight are real ones. Kevin ready to throw hands to Roy when he flips on Pam. And Dwight in the office 😂😂😂
Roy needed a different personality type then Pam
I’m glad Roy got a redemption , he deserved it. I felt Pam is equal in fault and Roy eventually got his Pam to his life
Roy wasn't very bright, just another lunk-headed football player who peaked in HS. Now he's a blue collar guy who drinks. And he's dangerous.
@@RaptorFromWeegee Nothing wrong with being a blue collar guy who drinks. Or with a limp wrist pencil pusher like you. We're all people.

It was always burning since the world’s been turning!!!
17:02 Not the Boyz n the Hood 😂
The “idk let’s break up” reminds me of Peter from Office Space
Last line of Jim's in this video have taught me a valuable lesson
The office is masterful show that incorporates all of the elements of a good drama into a funny premise. The best part is seeing how people change and grow throughout the seasons until they become their final forms in the end. They all start out extremely goofy and though that is the premise you can see how some of them grow through their immaturity and weakness into better versions of themselves.
Notice how Roy came in after Kevin left
❤🥰 Dwight protecting Jim with Bear Spray ❤
The up and down, then up again, then weird and crazy, then nothing of Pam and Roy was just wild
Roy got revenge at the end putting that idea in Jim's head
i think he was just lookin out for him
@@creatorcomedy1450nah, he was trying to get jim to doubt the relationship. That’s the reason Jim turned around when he almost went to New York to see Pam. They trust each other and are secure. That is the difference between two relationships, Jim and Pam are secure together where as Roy and Pam had a struggling relationship.
0:07! That evil laugh 😂
Made me cry again 😢a lot. Such a beautiful show ❤
the pam hate in the comments is INSANE
Dwight after pepper spraying- who’s laughing now?
Literally everyone who is watching😂😂
Dwight was awesome. That pepper-spray was money.
Always liked how the show never truly portrayed Roy as this awful guy. They just portrayed that he wasn’t right for Pam. His worst moment came from him learning his fiancé at the time kissed another man and he had a lash out. He was never a bad guy he was just not the kind of person Pam should have
If not Pam then who? The hell is that reasoning?
@@JM-lv5fu great assessment!
Micheal really made everyone in this office treat each other like a family, look at the way Oscar stood in front of Angela when Roy approached
Jim and Pam were kinda rude to Katie. They made fun of her behind her back and to her face ig and she didn’t do anything wrong. It’s like when the awkward kids justify ridiculing the popular girl solely because she’s “popular”. I guess it make sense that Katie’s favorite movie is Legally Blonde.
9:44 - "Don't call me Pammy"
15:44- "I'm so sorry, Pammy"
Yeah, these two weren't going to work out...
the scene with Pam telling Roy about the kiss is one of the launching pads to why i think she's made a reputation of having the most unlikeable (yet relatable) character traits -- she finally builds her confidence which is amazing but as she evolves she disregards empathy (her confession was more about her getting it off her chest than concern for Roys feelings or even showing remorse for what happened) and when situations don't turn out for the better she never learns or really grows out of her stagnant ways. We've seen that every confidence boost she gets through the show is followed up with this expectation of the circumstances to change or adapt to her own will to some level which loops her into this tendency to constantly be a victim to her own failures. She has a complete lack of awareness or gauge of herself in reality and therefore never knows how to acknowledge and assess her own faults because of it, which can make it hard to watch
he also literally got violent? like how was she gna show empathy after that. i will never be a roy apologist.
Honesty is important in a relationship. The documentary would’ve aired the kiss eventually, what would have happened if it was never mentioned? I think it’s always better to be upfront rather than spare someone’s feelings with a lie.
@@citrusvqz admitting Pam was coming from a selfish place doesn’t mean I condone Roy’s violence? Pams approach was objectively insensitive and selfish to tell your partner to not react or wait until you’re done talking when you’ve been cheated on, she had no social awareness or empathy but it doesn’t mean Roy should have gotten violent either.

Probably because Pam was cheating Roy. And yes, emotional cheating is still cheating.
I agree that an emotional affair is still an affair, but you can handle tough situations without turning violent.@@sfappetrupavelandrei
