Ngl this is probably one of the most unique and entertaining play styles I’ve ever seen. I usually hate how users but that’s just because they’re lemonarque users. The blend between finesse and movement in your gameplay along with the build crafting to compliment this build entirely is mesmerizing. With the gunpowder and weighted knifes allowing easy prime/cleanup kills like a sniper/HC combo. I have 0 idea how to get this bow but if I did I might try to learn to play like this

Also, any gun will still have a faster ttk than a bow draws in momentum. Seems to me youre a player who doesnt use a bow, and is just salty spreading hate
@@Adam-tu1qxto be fair, lightweights don't one-shot with swash... but his build involves radiant off throwing knife kills, and radiant+swash will one-shot, and tyranny of heaven being solar will increase the duration of radiant on kills. very effective if you know how to use it
@@spocklesocks steezle is using golden tricorn on his tyranny which will always one shot I personally use swash+radiant on mine tho, as im on warlock and will finish opponents with celestial fire. Bow headshot + celestial fire is a great combo. Chain one shots after that

ive been practicing to get really good at hipfiring on controller. I'm actually making progress. It is literally the biggest difference in getting to another level with bows. Keep up the great work.
I've been struggling with the hipfire on controller myself. It's easier with the freehand grip mod imo but depending on your build your AE will suffer. On Dawnblade or with Oathkeepers it's not an issue but with the build in the video I imagine no icarus mod would make it harder to jump shot like that.
@@mythe6669 I find if i jump and wait just around the peak right before im falling back down I tend to hit more shots. Heck even on the way down. But its all about timing, and knowing about where enemies are going to be. Keeping crosshairs chest to head level etc. Not easy and i miss most times but my percentage is getting better as i practice.
@@woozie_tv Right, forgot about that even though I use it for shotgunning all the time. 😂 Chris Proctor actually confirmed the cone angles on the active jump differ from the ones of just falling out of the jump and the whole AE is apparently mostly just applied to the upward part of the jump. Good call. I'll have to try and get that timing right. Hipfire is completely unaffected by AE btw. I learned that while using glaives. If that'll make the arial aim more consistent on a bow I have no idea though.

Amazing video. 1st bowplay (I mean real bowplay not LeMon hotswapping) I've seen on a hunter. Usually Dawnblade seems the class of choice but as a hunter main I loved seeing this. I usually run the run the proximity knife and barely touched the heavy knife cause the animation throws me off...but how do you cancel the throw? The rare occasions I do use the heavy knife I end up wasting it a lot cause the person died of something else already.
cancelling can only be done on m&k (at least that i'm aware) but you cancel by hitting your super key. when your super isn't charged, the super key bind doubles as a melee key bind that, for some reason, will cancel the knife animation. dangerous habit though, because you will definitely waste some supers by accident.

Correctio: MnK PvP build. Hipfiring a bow isn't viable on controller. Nor is sliding into lanes as controller inputs get slowed turning speed when sliding.
you're not wrong about hipfiring/sliding on M&K, but I'd say the build itself is still perfectly viable. Lightweight bows definitely feel more consistent on controller, so playing the build more passive and hitting headshots from range instead of playing hyper aggressive can definitely still work.

I pretty much treat my top weapon slot as a utility slot and swap around based on what I'm fighting against. I like Witherhoard as a counter to bubbles, wells, rifts, and barricades. Regular GL's can work well to clean up kills when people hide after getting hit by the first bow shot. Shotguns are always an option but are basically just gambling if you're going to get the kill or not (I don't have much luck with shotguns personally). If you struggle with using a bow in close range with hip-fire shots, you could pair the bow with something like a sidearm or SMG so you have a close range option to fall back on.
So obviously you’re running gunpowder gamble, but are you running knock ‘em down as well or the other for the throwing knives? Also how many kills does it take to proc gunpowder. Currently grinding a strident whistle to work on this build.
This is extremely worth watching. One question: could it be, that Golden Dricorn or Swashbuckler doesn't always proceed when using a knife as a precision kill? I crafted the same bow but with swash. I don't get a Shwashbuckler times 5 when I do a knife kill on the head. Do you have an idea whats going wrong here?
i think swash is more practical for most situations/players, i just find tricorn more fun. and if swash 1 taps are your goal, you're better off going with a biting winds or now point of the stag with swash
@@alabamahotpocket1595 thanks! i think the biggest things are focusing on keeping your reticle placement centered toward where player's heads are most likely to be when they peek (so you have to move as little as possible before releasing your shot) and just learning the timing of seeing radar pings and knowing when to anticipate that player showing up on screen. also important to build muscle memory around resetting the perfect draw on bow shots (hitting reload and immediately redrawing) so that you're always getting max accuracy on your shots. the rest is just putting in time and practice - i even used to run pvp bows in any pve activities I did just for more practice.

Thats crazy, is this on controller or keyboard? I cant imagine hitting headshots that frequently while being airborne even with the mod.
i play on m&k, and spend a lot of time jumping so i'm pretty used to airborne play at this point
