And of course, Centrifuse is solid, but exponentially better with the catalyst. 600s, I recommend looking to Summoner and Perpetualis, don't bother with the rest. Summoner can get rangefinder or moving target in 3rd slot with some great killchaining perks and insane stats, while Perpetualis has solid stats and Target Lock - which fixes what is in my opinion the one thing holding the archetype back, the head/body shot ratio, which is horrid for its TTK - worse than 600 smgs and 540 pulses, requiring 100% headshots against 10 resil, without target lock. The Suros auto is solid if you like playing around the ramp-up. Monte Carlo is lacking in zoom, but might see itself be pretty good after these changes with a melee build, despite basically being "better swashbuckler: the gun" currently. Hard light has crazy stats, but, that's about it - certainly solid, but in my opinion, not as good as the rest mentioned here so long as 600s continue to deal so little to the body. for 720s, Rufus's Fury is probably my highest recommendation easily. There's just so much that gun can do that any review on youtube will serve you better, faster, than I can here. My personal roll would be moving target/target lock, however. Krait is very slept on and pretty solid with some good stats and the ever-slept-on auto killchaining perk Adagio (phenomenal on 600s and 720s specifically), Sweet Sorrow has always been pretty good since its release, Dark Decider is very awkward but can get some crazy range for a 720 with a solid origin perk (but it can be quite unwieldy), chroma rush is solid but at this point feels a little lackluster due to lacking an origin perk, arctic haze is decent, but something I think is worth keeping an eye on here is Reckless Oracle. It's a solid gun as-is, surprisingly good for what it is, with a great feel to it... but it's a raid weapon, from Garden of Salvation. Meaning, it's going to get the Last Wish treatment in the future. That thing will go crazy when it does. It will absolutely have the opportunity to become the best 720 for pvp - and it will forever be my lesson as to why Mulligan is really fun on a 720 auto rifle (even if not that great). Of course quicksilver storm is solid, and tommy's is actually pretty good but more of an 'acquired taste' due to how unique it is, it almost has its own skill gap to using it effectively and taking advantage of its exotic perk and hidden perfect hipfire effectively. And for the last two exotics, Cerberus is a really weird shotgun, Sweet Business is already kind of underrated - albeit weird to use.

Rivens Wishes.....I spent about 30 minutes last night looking up stats on lightgg and reading comments on destiny reddit and bungie message boards. What Im trying to decide between is either using 5 wishes to craft Apex Predator or Age Old Bond. Im going with age old bond because I need a powerful void AR to round out my void 'No Backup Plans' Titan build. Right now Its Conditional Finality pair'd with Positive Outlook (Destabilizing rounds is the key here), But Positive Outlook sometimes just doesnt cut it in harder content. I know people love Apex but I dont Raid much or spend much time standing in wells with 5 other guardians trying to melt bosses so after really thinking about it im going with the Void AR. A crafted Void Assault Rifle with enhanced Destabilizer and Repulsar Brace is just too good for me to pass up. It will synergize absolutely perfectly with my 'No backup plans' build.
Another great pairing I think is Repulsor Brace/Golden Tricorn on Omnioculus Void Hunter. Weaken up close or at range with the snare bomb, set up for invisibility from kills thanks to Stylish Executioner , or kill for repulsor overshield when not invis. Amazing utility, plus getting Golden Tricorn x2 is stupid easy on this thing; it shreds when it gets going. Got it as a random drop during the farming weekend, haven't put it down since.
@@BotFisherman Exactly. I think it works as well as it does because it allows Omni hunter to contribute more in terms of ad clear when survivability isn't the immediate priority. As someone who has put over 2k pvp kills on an ammit and considers it a soul weapon of mine for pvp, as soon as i saw the rolls on the age old i knew it would be a contender with the ammit for the top of the line pvp autos, and after crafting it i am happy to say it is performing amazingly. After about 500 or so kills i still like my ammit but age old has that stupid amount of range that allows you to contend at those longer ranges and target lock makes up for any damage drop off. @@julianlak1017 ammit has an amazing stat package and is easy to craft right off the bat, omolon fluid dynamics mixed with dsr make it an unflinching laser. Up until recently it didn’t have much competition but the new vanguard auto this season is of the same model as ammit and can get actual good second column perks which is something ammit lacks, which is the one thing holding it back. The new auto in question can get dsr and kill clip which is probably an insane role, I’ll def be farming it next season when it’s focusable to see how it stacks up against the other autos. Also if you haven’t tried an ammit yourself go and craft one and see how it feels!
Titans with armamentariums using vortex grenades and the fragment that gives your weapon volatile. You basically have destabilizing rounds all the time, so you might as well go for golden tricorn for that easy 50% buff. As a titan, you always have void overshield, so you might as well go for dragonfly. Now you have dragonfly + repulsor brace + 50% golden tricorn buff + destabilizing rounds. You're welcome for the idea
I went Repulsor Brace/Golden Tricorn. Destabilizing is cool and all, but honestly I don’t see why you wouldn’t be running the fragment for volatile rounds from nade kills on Titan and Warlock (Hunter has Gyrfalcons) With the high grenade uptime Void has, you’re basically perma Golden Tricorn x2, and all those nades are giving you volatile so you can take advantage of Repulsor Brace. Personally I think it’s way better than Repulsor/Destabilizing, I can’t stand the activation cooldown on that perk. You’re right that it’s a good option for non-Void subclasses though.
If you get a good Lodbrok-C you can get a feel now what those upcoming Range changes will feel like because it's a 19 Zoom Auto, so if you get 100 Range on it it can hit out at 40m right now. (I got a real wacky SB/RR/DSR/Cascade/Range MW roll that can make some crazy plays if used right.) Which I'm glad is what they're all being brought up to because that's the range they feel like they need to function in the meta.
I crafted mine and I'm not gonna lie. I went from a Hero's Burden with destabilizing so i can get void breaches constantly which is broken af. But I crafted an age old bond with destabilizing and repulsor brace and to be honest I did it so I wouldn't have to go pick up the void breaches so the void shields will just automatically apply to me but repulsor brace is just so damn bugged it only works like 10% of the time. :/
Titan bros, Age Old Bond with Repulsor Brace/Destabilizing Rounds and Until Its Return with Auto Loading/ Cascade is THE build to use with No Backup Plans. Slap on Tractor in your heavy and it's a champion killing machine.
problem being: you're really only good against barrier and MAYBE overload champs while running a void titan, you don't really have anything to stop an unstoppable with that loadout...
On my titan im using this with repulsor and destablizing with AWR paired with witherhorde and retrofit. Feels great to use, i feel i have all roles covered with this combo
Been an AOB fan for a while. Have two Tap the Trigger Kill Clip rolls with over 220 PvP kills each on them from before this season (I don't play PvP enough to get super high kill counters, and I'm picky with my weapons, so I don't have a lot of guns over 100 kills Crafted a Tap the Trigger Target Lock roll for PvP, but I've been reconsidering for Golden Tricorn or Kill Clip, and now I'm considering crafting a PvE roll with Repulsor/Destab!
I find myself winning duels with most things and find myself challenging multiple opponents pretty regularly, with varying results. This repulsor/destabilize combo will help me get those team wipes
I think a max range TTT//Target Lock roll might actually be the Meta post Range Changes. It will reach max range, is an archetype that handles fall off pretty strongly already, has Target lock to boost Ease of Use as well as further Range Falloff. All in a very competitve TTK that is completely boosted by Enhanced Tap The Trigger. Very Very Strong
I have enhanced repulcer brace and destabilizing rounds on mine. I paid it with second chance for the double shield throw for more shields and making things volitile. Purple explosions everywhere
Here's what I'm thinking: Do I need Destab rounds if I'm a Gyrfalc hunter?? I personally went with Collective Action since I'll be spawning a lot of breaches
I really like this weapon but I still am not a fan of destabilizing rounds. I think if you're playing Warlock or Hunter there are better ways to get volatile rounds (Nezarec's Sin is my go-to but Contraverse Hold works too, and then obviously gyrfalcon) and the huge buff Tricorn x2 gives you really makes this thing shine. You'll have plenty of uptime on Volatile and it'll apply to every target you shoot without being reliant on enemies grouping up, and then repulsor brace will keep your overshield going pretty much permanently. Huge fan
@@trentenfolland3982 why get melee kills when you could get grenade kills instead? Those also count. I guess I'd probably recommend target lock or focused fury if you don't wanna go with tricorn
I primarily repulsor + destabilizing to have access to void overshield on subclasses other than void. I used it to make a damage resist build that went all the way up to 97% DR in PvE. You can see the build on my channel :)
I played with my old Age-Old Bond in crucible last week. It has Zen Moment/High-Impact reserves. It legitimately MAPS. I've been waiting for this video to see how you would craft it, because it's the first AR I enjoyed playing with in the crucible.
Dynamic is better for pvp cuz in most gun fights you want the last shots to be more accurate as opposed to the first, a gun getting more stable and accurate with each shot is better imo
Had 5 of these in my vault, deleted all except zen moment Kc. You are bang on about ttt over dsr. Dsr does basically nothing on this archetype. Very keen to try enhanced ttt!
I currently run the exact void hunter build as my main but with knawring hunger subsistence and demo for less reloads and more grenades. NGL, you've made me want to hit up lfg and spend my season pass crafting mats on it.
For me this is an absolute sleeper when it comes to the Last Wish Weapons, actually any of the Raid Weapons! With the updated Perks, I'm hoping to get a decent roll whilst I nag my buddies to hop in!
Cool Guy, could you please use your connections with Bungie and ask them to include deadzone settings? D2 is the only major shooter at this point without them. Love D2 but just can’t play anymore without them.
This gun shooting like a mythoclast with x6 of the buff like wtf never thought I'd see that. Also i think a lot of ARs are shining in crucible atm. Crucible is gonna shake up a lot. But more range on an auto will def make it much more useable for antichamps. Honestly having replusor destabalonzing on a primary is all ive wanted since they added destabilizing rounds
I hope these range changes give these guns a more defined range. Their zoom values are all over the place and for weapons that easily hit 100 range their drop off is sooner than it should be.
Is there any point of using Destabilizing Rounds on a void Hunter? There's no reason to not run Gyrfalcon if you want Volitile, so isn't Destabilizing Rounds completely redundant? I'd rather add a damage perk.
If you're running gyrfalcon hunter I don't really see the point in running destabilizing rounds and would opt for collective action instead since you will have constant breeches
What current (obtainable) guns does CoolGuy think are bad? Or at least poor in comparison? Personally, I can't see the point in the craftable Wellspring weapons. Even the ability to craft them isn't enough now.
so the consensus I’m getting from the new version of LW weapons is they’re the best raid weapons in all of D2. Every vid about these weapons is how good their rolls are.
Yeah, but, like, it's D2 UA-cam. Most things get hyped up on here. Supposedly Apex Predator is the best rocket now (I am a little unsure of how practical it might be, but the on-paper makes sense), and Techeun Force is probably the best in slot PVP fusion (depending a little on what you're looking for, I guess--it's a tight race). I can't see myself calling the rest top-tier, personally. They're good guns, but not must-haves. Good weapons from other raids, off the top of my head (I'm probably forgetting many), include Commemoration and Heritage from DSC (really all of them but Bequest); Doom of Chelchis, Defiance of Yasmin, and Midha's Reckoning from King's Fall; and literally everything from Vow of the Disciple (albeit Lubrae's Ruin and Deliverance are mostly power-crept by subsequent glaives and Riptide respectively). I'd argue out of the craftable raid guns, the tiers are something like RON at the bottom, then KF second-weakest, then the other three are too close to call. Personally I favor the Vow guns--the way I see it, Forbearance is go-to add clear gun for contest mode raids, Cataclysmic is the best LFR for ammo efficiency (even if they're out of the spotlight lately), Submission is a killer SMG, Insidious is a solid pulse, and the only reason I don't have triple-digit levels on my Deliverance is because Riptide exists. Lubrae's does kind of drag down the average, though. DSC has the same problem with Bequest, and I personally don't favor Posterity either, but Commemoration and Heritage are such heavy hitters that it's still good (I'd add Succession as well; snipers aren't especially good PVE options usually and I prefer other ones in PVP, but not having it actually did come up for me as a problem during contest mode Nezarec). Last Wish benefits from being the most recent release, so it has all the new stuff (if Incandescent had existed when Lubrae's Ruin came out, it'd be dramatically better). It has plenty of "no other gun does this" guns, but the value of those things varies somewhat. I will admit to being a little salty because I'm behind on crafts, though.
Age Old Bond has been a go-to when I needed a void auto for end game content for a long time. So I am stoked to replace my old roll. I do wish they had done more stat tuning and made some of the se guns busted especially Nation but I get it. This rework was REALLY needed. Last Wish was slowly sliding down the rankings for raids for me simply because the loot, while looking incredible was being beat by other weapons.
Got the perfect 5/5 PvE combo to drop when farming last wish - so won’t be crafting it for PVE. Amazing synergy with destabilising rounds and repulsar brace. Works so well with gyrfalcon’s. Not to interested right now for PVP, yet to be convinced.
Still have a V.1 age old with zen moment/kill clip. Complete with arrowhead and ricochet. Admitted i still need to try it in PvP, but that one will remain locked and saved in my collection right now.
i got one of these to drop with dragonfly, target lock. when target lock kicks in this thing melts. so far it has been unforgiving if you miss one or two shots
see the problem with auto rifles is they never received buffs for combat though because they get severely outclassed from damage by every other weapon that exists in the game besides it's own archetype
Imo this gun feels weak in end game. I was so excited to get repulsor brace + destabilizing rounds on this gun but it just dont feel good to me. I wanted it for a void titan build but Vexcalibur does much better for the same thing.

@@omgoddard777 gigs will look out for that new one
Crafted Age old is my favorite pve auto with destabilizing/repulsor. Insanely good.
Another high quality in-depth review from Cool guy. Great editing as well.
I went Repulsor Brace/Golden Tricorn. Destabilizing is cool and all, but honestly I don’t see why you wouldn’t be running the fragment for volatile rounds from nade kills on Titan and Warlock (Hunter has Gyrfalcons)
With the high grenade uptime Void has, you’re basically perma Golden Tricorn x2, and all those nades are giving you volatile so you can take advantage of Repulsor Brace.

(I got a real wacky SB/RR/DSR/Cascade/Range MW roll that can make some crazy plays if used right.)
Which I'm glad is what they're all being brought up to because that's the range they feel like they need to function in the meta.
Don't forget about regnant for repulsor brace+destabilizing
I crafted mine and I'm not gonna lie. I went from a Hero's Burden with destabilizing so i can get void breaches constantly which is broken af. But I crafted an age old bond with destabilizing and repulsor brace and to be honest I did it so I wouldn't have to go pick up the void breaches so the void shields will just automatically apply to me but repulsor brace is just so damn bugged it only works like 10% of the time. :/
I love the clean text, editing, and video quality. 11/10 vid
Titan bros, Age Old Bond with Repulsor Brace/Destabilizing Rounds and Until Its Return with Auto Loading/ Cascade is THE build to use with No Backup Plans. Slap on Tractor in your heavy and it's a champion killing machine.
problem being: you're really only good against barrier and MAYBE overload champs while running a void titan, you don't really have anything to stop an unstoppable with that loadout...
izinagis burden while radiant 1 shots most Champs by its self ..
The sights on these things are tops!
Dragonfly with destabilising rounds is crazy vs ads.
On my titan im using this with repulsor and destablizing with AWR paired with witherhorde and retrofit. Feels great to use, i feel i have all roles covered with this combo
Dude you nailed it! This gun is the epitome of Peanut Butter and Jelly. That PVE roll of Repulser/Destabilizing is just so fun
Been an AOB fan for a while. Have two Tap the Trigger Kill Clip rolls with over 220 PvP kills each on them from before this season (I don't play PvP enough to get super high kill counters, and I'm picky with my weapons, so I don't have a lot of guns over 100 kills
Crafted a Tap the Trigger Target Lock roll for PvP, but I've been reconsidering for Golden Tricorn or Kill Clip, and now I'm considering crafting a PvE roll with Repulsor/Destab!
Totally didn't realize the potential for this gun. Kinda just crafted it and vaulted it. That Tap Kill clip roll is looking pretty crispy!
Agreed, in 3s especially target lock is the play.
Love Void, love Autos, love High Impacts. This one is money.
I have enhanced repulcer brace and destabilizing rounds on mine. I paid it with second chance for the double shield throw for more shields and making things volitile. Purple explosions everywhere
Hey! I thought that was you the other day when I was playing. I’m in this video for just a bit, was a great game playing with you
As the auto rifle freak that I am, man I miss zen movement on this thing
Here's what I'm thinking: Do I need Destab rounds if I'm a Gyrfalc hunter?? I personally went with Collective Action since I'll be spawning a lot of breaches
cool guy would be an elite salesman
I really like this weapon but I still am not a fan of destabilizing rounds. I think if you're playing Warlock or Hunter there are better ways to get volatile rounds (Nezarec's Sin is my go-to but Contraverse Hold works too, and then obviously gyrfalcon) and the huge buff Tricorn x2 gives you really makes this thing shine. You'll have plenty of uptime on Volatile and it'll apply to every target you shoot without being reliant on enemies grouping up, and then repulsor brace will keep your overshield going pretty much permanently. Huge fan
Melee kills aren’t that easy in harder content would there be another option other than tricorn?
@@trentenfolland3982 why get melee kills when you could get grenade kills instead? Those also count. I guess I'd probably recommend target lock or focused fury if you don't wanna go with tricorn
I primarily repulsor + destabilizing to have access to void overshield on subclasses other than void. I used it to make a damage resist build that went all the way up to 97% DR in PvE. You can see the build on my channel :)
Finally crafted this so I came back to rewatch this review LOL
man if they give us this combo on an smg, ggs
Repulsor Brace/Golden Tricorn may be the best PvE roll of any void weapon ever.
That is how I crafted my pve roll. It is great on my void titan.
I'm waiting for that Greasy Luck review, since myself and like 8 other people are glaive enthusiasts but it's nasty!
I played with my old Age-Old Bond in crucible last week. It has Zen Moment/High-Impact reserves. It legitimately MAPS. I've been waiting for this video to see how you would craft it, because it's the first AR I enjoyed playing with in the crucible.
dude i wish zen was still on there.
I've had my dynamic sway/high impact for years, and it is awesome. Would've liked that Zen moment though, lol
@@CoolGuyGames me too, especially since it’s recent buff. But I’m glad to have this one.
Dynamic is better for pvp cuz in most gun fights you want the last shots to be more accurate as opposed to the first, a gun getting more stable and accurate with each shot is better imo
Best review I've seen in awhile. Great work.
Had 5 of these in my vault, deleted all except zen moment Kc. You are bang on about ttt over dsr. Dsr does basically nothing on this archetype. Very keen to try enhanced ttt!
got destabilizing and dragonfly on mine for PvE I LOVE IT
I currently run the exact void hunter build as my main but with knawring hunger subsistence and demo for less reloads and more grenades. NGL, you've made me want to hit up lfg and spend my season pass crafting mats on it.
I still have the old curated 4th times rampage roll and i think i prefer that perk combo over anything the new one has but thats just me.
That roll feels terrible on controller and rampage ain’t what it used to be 😢
I just picked up my first red box roll from Wishes; Tricorn/Tap The Trigger and it's spicy on Voidlock
If only I had people to run the raid with faithfully.
Bro I love autos. It’s a shame they aren’t that competitive in 3s. But they are my fun gun in 6s. Love high impacts
Regent (last seasons GL if I spelled it wrong) also gets Repulser/Destabilizing
This is the only auto/gun in the game that can get repulsor brace with destabilizing rounds. That’s insane
Got all of the patterns done yesterday
I’m waiting for your Techeun Force review
The Regnant also has destabilizing+repulsor
so the consensus I’m getting from the new version of LW weapons is they’re the best raid weapons in all of D2.
Repulsor brace/destabilizing rounds
Hope CoolGuy's gonna make a review for the new Randys
I hope Marathon has as in depth weapons as this game
I have an old one from a long time ago with zen moment and kill clip. Is that one worth using or should i snag a new one?
Thank you for the video 😘🤭😁 I love this weapon ❤
If only Vex Mythoclast would get that high-impact auto rifle damage fall off but I’m almost certain bungie will intentionally keep the range the same
I wish it had zen moment... It's so much better than tap the trigger. You feel the difference WAY more.
I like zen moment better too, I like it for pve also
Age Old Bond has been a go-to when I needed a void auto for end game content for a long time.
Thanks bro ima grind for this
Been there, gotten it, and crafted it 👌😬
i got one of these to drop with dragonfly, target lock. when target lock kicks in this thing melts. so far it has been unforgiving if you miss one or two shots
Not you killing my man like 6 times in the first match 😂😅 lol its MistaThumbs
see the problem with auto rifles is they never received buffs for combat though
because they get severely outclassed from damage by every other weapon that exists in the game besides it's own archetype
Imo this gun feels weak in end game. I was so excited to get repulsor brace + destabilizing rounds on this gun but it just dont feel good to me. I wanted it for a void titan build but Vexcalibur does much better for the same thing.
The only roll I ever got was a zen moment/KC with light mag and 3 barrels of either HF, FB or corkscrew
I'm probably going to craft a repulsor brace/kill clip roll, can use it for a gyrfalcon hunter in both pve and pvp
I got Repulser Brace- Destabilizing Rounds from the weekly chest, almost deleted it.
So, these or the pulse? What its better?
Todays sponsor “Raid Shadow Legends…”
- Me “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STFUUUUUU”
Do we have any information about the high impact frame intrinsic? What movement speed counts as moving slowly?
I've been using one with dragonfly and destab and it feels p good in pve. I have a crafted one for PvP and i like it.
On my 7th last wish secret chest i got repulser brace and destabilizing rounds, was planing to craft it but ig not anymore
If only it had Demo in the 3rd column. I supposed repulsive will have to suffice paired with tricorn for me
Great vid
Can’t wait to play on titan with this auto in pve looks so fun 🤩
Thanks for doing the math
Destabilizing rounds 😊
