Thank you SO MUCH for making this cheerful and informative video! I had this tray installed at my work but with the work-from-home order I was able to bring it home, but without any instructions, template, or any idea of how to install it! I searched the internet trying to find the manual, but without luck. With the help of your excellent video I was able to make my own template and successfully install it on my desk at home. Your cheerful attitude also brightened my day through a frustrating task at a scary time. Thank you again, you are the best.
Hello from Canada! I just bought a similar model from 3M (AKT60LE; without the separate mousepad), and the instructions included were totally useless... And I tried to find a tutorial for the model I had. No chance! Finally, I found and watched your video, and... you saved my day! I really appreciated it. Shame on 3M, and I happily express my congratulations to you. Thank you VERY MUCH!
Just dropping a line to say thanks. You saved me a couple hundred dollars. I was on the cusp of buying a Humanscale 500 keyboard tray. After watching this video and reading the reviews on this 3M keyboard at Amazon, I am now getting this one. Again, thanks a 💯 x 2
It was cool seeing you do what i do (modular/systems furniture installer) in this video and the monitor arm video. Ive never seen anyone use the template before. Another thing is after most installs 90 out of 100 keyboard trays will be removed from the workstations/cubicles after a few weeks. Prob one of the biggest wastes of money i see from companies, but good for me since i get paid to go back and remove them. Great video cuz!
Great video guys! I bought my system on a whim, mostly because nothing would fit my split keyboard. My husband was freaking about installation. My only suggestion is you may need to be miked because when you move under the desk it's a little harder to hear you.
Very helpful. Now just need to pick out which tray. ATK60LE, ATK70LE, or ATK80LE. My desk is 23" deep. 3M chart shows the ATK70 at 21 3/4 track depth, inset like 1/2" and the ATK60 is 17" track depth. ATK80LE is 17" depth. Different users said do like 2" or 3" in but looking at this video I think the depth was closer to 1/2" inches so that shows me I can do the 22" ATK70LE with lever adjustments not the knob(?) of the shorter ATK60LE.
You wouldn't happen to know the hole to hole dimensions for the screws do you? This was already installed on a desk and I've had to move offices since and do not have the template. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The model is the 3M KD45
I would like to install an adjustable keyboard tray on a table top made of MDF. Will there be any issues in terms of screws holding the keyboard tray? Please advise.
I am thinking about using something like this simply because I bought a desk that's too high for me and I don't have adjustable legs :( This will lower the keyboard for me. Is that a good idea?
Thanks Shawn, yeah I like to have some type of order in myn life, LOL! Did we see a video of your workstation yet? If you have one leave a link in the comment section!
I like your video a lot. Excellent instructions. But how many times have you guys dropped the mouse from that mouse pad? I cannot believe those manufacturers made that mouse pad all opened up and I know I would have to be buying a lot of new mouse after dropping it and breaking them hahaha :-)
Dude that bank pen thingy is "On the chain"! How do you like that little drill driver? Enough power? Stop laying down on the job man i mean dang Vince. Nick keep an eye on that guy....The Black VCG shirts look much better IMO.
yeah man. everyone should have their pencil easily accessible!! The M12 is pretty powerfull, but it all depends on what we are using it for! for drilling large holes or driving 3" screws we break out the M18! Gotta get in the naps when i get a chance, Yo cuz!! Back in black!
Angela Kincade I guess you could use this for a laptop, but it's definitely sold as just a keyboard tray. Maybe you could use a Bluetooth or wireless auxiliary keyboard ?
I don't understand this video. It shows how to attach the wrist support and put screws in the bottom for the runner but not HOW to put together the entire item from the box. Did I miss the key 90% of video I need to rate this as useful?

Was looking for an installation video for this new 3M under desk keyboard tray and yours hit the spot 👍
Also: Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight.
Glad it helped! 👍🏻

Nice job! The "manual" from 3M was more or less accurate but not at all clear about the best process to get it done. This was great.

Curious as to why they remove them.

Thanks for the video, do you think this is possible to install without a electric drill?
thank you so much, that is very helpful

Do you think a 1-inch office desk made from particleboard can support this tray?
Your workstation is coming along Vince!

My dude.. great job! Very helpful and self explanatory. Have you seen some of these 1 minute worthless videos by robots? WTF. A plus. Thx so much.
Thanks CJS!
Will the KP200LE accomodate an ergonomic keyboard such as MS's Natural Ergonomic 4000?
Possibly if you leave off the included wrist rest.
