చిన్న పిల్లలు మాతృ భాషలో ఉన్నటువంటి బొమ్మల కథలు సొంతంగా అర్థం చేసుకుంటూనే చూస్తున్నారు, అనందిస్తున్నారు,ముఖ్యంగా యూట్యూబ్లో. అటువంటప్పుడు బోధనా భాష కూడా మాతృ భాషలోనే ఉంటే పిల్లలు త్వరగా నేర్చుకుంటారు అనే విషయం తల్లిదండ్రులు, ప్రజలు, అధికారులు, నాయకులు ఎందుకు గ్రహించలేకపోతున్నారు. ఇతర భాష నేర్చుకోవడమే ప్రధానం అయితే ఆరవ తరగతి నుండి పదవ తరగతి వరకూ ఐదేళ్లు హిందీలో పాఠాలు విని,చదివి, పరీక్షలు రాసిన విద్యార్థి కంటే ఒక ఏడాది లారీ డ్రైవర్ గానో, క్లీనర్ గానో పని చేసిన వారు హిందీ అర్దం చేసుకోగలుగుతారు, కొందరు మాట్లాడగలుగుతున్నారు. ఏదైనా సహజ సిద్ధమైన విధానంలో నేర్చుకుంటేనే త్వరగా వస్తుంది.

గత 100 సంవత్సరాలనుండి A. P ప్రకాశం జిల్లా పొదిలి లో వ్యవసాయ భూమి ని సాగు చేసుకుంటుంనాము ఈ మధ్యనే మా భూమిని ఊరు లో వేరే వాళ్ళు రికార్డులు మర్చి ఆక్రమించారు.
I never had telugu in my school.. still I speak good telugu and write Telugu, because Telugu can b taught at home.. English is very important, even basic English if they learn, students can learn and improvise it, everyone has a dictionary and google to learn English… I work in USA as a sw engineer, I see telugu medium engineers still struggle… primary education in English is very important, after primary education if they try to learn English it’s very hard to catch it….
That's why u r in US I am in India who is from Telugu mediam
being in USA is not an achievement for everyone.....we are very happy to saty here....need to teach primary education with their monther tongue will actually help the children.

As usual on the spot sir! I am a Medical doctor and settled in US and recently started a UA-cam channel and started with discussion on Education systems here and there - One day I will also address the language issue in my channel - most of the students do not know the difference between pronunciation and accent - and the worse part is we do not have any proper future plan to save Telugu language (my plan is to bring science and research to our people in Telugu).

@@shivashakti33 yes - I am from Telugu medium andi - this subject is so close to my heart and last visit I realized many students do not even know how to write and read in Telugu and some of those who speak English - accent is their priority - no need - we have to focus on pronunciation more - that will do the job for us.

Parents or govt... పిల్లలు కు ప్రస్తుత సమాజం లో జీవించడానికి అనువైన నైపుణ్యాలు అందుతున్నాయా లేదా అని ఎప్పుడు అయితే ఆలోచిస్తారో అపుడే మార్పు కనిపిస్తుంది.....
As a govt teacher గా కొన్ని సూచనలు...
1.Curriculum మార్పులు చేయాలి....
పనికి మాలిన syllabus తగ్గించాలి.....
2.రోజుకు మూడు subjects మాత్రమే (alternate days) బోధన జరిగేటట్లు timetable ఉండాలి ...
3.Class లో 30 మంది students మాత్రమే ఉండాలి .....
Present govt schools కి ifp panels ఇచ్చారు...అవి అద్భుతంగా ఉపయోగపడుతున్నాయి..... ఇంకా చాలా మార్పులు జరగాలి..... let's hope....

విద్య గురించి చాలా అద్భుతం గా చర్చ జరిగింది. ఇలాంటి చర్చలు మేధావులు ప్రభుత్వం తో చర్చించాలి. కానీ ఈ వెనకబాటు కు కారణం పోషకా హారం, తల్లి గర్భం నుండి బిడ్డ బయటకి వచ్చిన రెండేళ్ల వరకు తల్లికి బిడ్డకు సరైన సమతుల్య ఆహారం ఇవ్వడం లో పాలకులు విఫలం అవుతున్నారు. విద్యార్థి మానసిక ఎదుగుదల సరిగలేని వాడికి ఎన్ని రకాల విధానాల్లో బోధన చేసిన మర్చిపోవడం, దృష్టి పెట్టక పోవడం, నీరసం, ఆలసట ఇవన్నీ విద్యార్థిని అవహించి ఎన్ని లక్షల కోట్లు వెచ్చించిన ఫలితం లేడు. పోషకహర లోపం కారణంగా వయసుకు తగ్గ ఎత్తు, ఎత్తుకు తగ్గ బరువు లేక పోవడం తో విద్యార్థి విద్య పైన దృష్టి పెట్టక పోవడం జరుగుతోంది. మొదట ఇది జరగకుండా ఎన్ని రకాల విద్య విధానాలు తెచ్చిన నిరూపయోగం. అన్నిటికంటే అతిపెద్ద సమస్య పేదరికం పేదరికం కారణంగానే పౌష్టికా హారం అందక వారు అనారోగ్యానికి, అవిద్యకు గురి అవుతున్నారు. పోషకా హారం సమస్యని దేశ సరిహద్దుల నుండి తరిమి కొట్టకుండా ఎన్ని వేల కోట్ల బడ్జెట్ విద్యకు పెట్టిన వృధా ప్రయాసే అవుతుంది. సమతుల్య ఆహరం ఇవ్వకుండా విద్యా అభివృద్ధి జరగదు. పునాది లేని ఇంటి నిర్మాణం నిలువదు...

English is just a language. Being able to speak doesn't mean that you are educated and well knowledgeable. Japanese, Germans, Chinese and many european countries teach all their students in regional or local languages. Yet those countries are developed. In India people are fooled by saying that if you speak english you are great and intelligent.

P.V.Narasimharao garu erased English medium introduced Telugu medium. But all his members of family educated in english medium n in foreign universities.
