We treat our house like an Air B and B. It’s a lot of work to keep it tidy, but it helps us to really live our 1000 square house.
I love the idea of living like an Air Bn B and only have what is needed to enjoy every day. I keep saying I'm going to clean up my clutter and start enjoying my place!

I’m proud you are getting your back and knees ect. checked out. I know you have days you cannot do anything because of your pain. You needed something done yrs ago. V.A. may take sometime but when they get it done it’s the best there is. I’m from a military family and know the difference between private medicine and military medicine. Howdy Mike! Good luck with the VA claim. I just got total disability from the VA back in December. There was nothing quick about the process. Every step took two years to get a response. I filed my latest claim back in late 2012. After several appeals and a failed connection for a hearing which took two years to get rescheduled. I finally won and got paid back to 2014,which was when I filed the first appeal. Like I said I hope you have better luck than I did. I only had to fight Social Security for two years to get total disability. My initial claim with the VA was filed back in 1991 when I was determined to be service connected with less than 10% at that time. Have a good one Mike,take care and God Bless!!!❤😊
My Dad is in the same situation with VA. He was put through some hellish chit while in the service🤐.
Sorry that house is already under contract. One thing I've learned searching for a houses in AR., pending contracts fall through often. Might be worth keeping ½ an eye on that house until you know the sale is final.

Sorry that house deal got away. It might have been a nice upgrade if only for location... perhaps removed from stray dogs and crappy neighbors? I love "secluded & close to tall mountains". Keep an eye out, the sale might fall through.
My NM mountain place is 9460 ft (too high) with views to dream of, but I have a couple of meddling neighbors.They fight each other, and try to drag me in between when I spend over 3 days up there.
In 2012 I tried to find a nearby upgrade to get away from them but found the www had expanded the buyer pool so greatly I couldn't compete with city slickers that were just discovering my quaint, little mountain resort.
It was the best kept secret from 1946 to about 2000, and then by 2008 it wasn't.
I remember in the 1980s watching the same houses on the market for 3 years because they needed to be repainted or have simple upgrades.
People out of Houston, Dallas and OKC are now in the buyer pool and buy those houses sight unseen - and then🤑 pay top prices for remodels made by the local drunk and drug addicted contractors that I have watched lay in the sun on a lumber trailer and sleep the morning away. 😄 It's a strange world.

Never went through a smoke 💨 house, but I did have to get sprayed with pepper 🌶️ spray. We had to before we could carry it. Kinda dumb in my opinion, because we carried a sidearm too. 🤣

Everywhere I ever lived people complain about people moving there. One time a lady cutting my hair was complaining about people moving there, and like a dummy I opened my mouth and told her I moved there. She didn't say anything bad to me but when I got home I had to laugh because she cut the back of my hair out and it looked ridiculous. 🤣

I would love to have a four bedroom and two bath house but living on retirement and social security I’m dreaming or even a three bedroom house with two bath would do because it’s rediculious to pay $700 a month for rent and utilities plus the landlord doesn’t even try to keep the apartments up he cries that he isn’t making any money and he’s barely getting by and that’s a bunch of crap plus the driveway down between each side of the complex is pitaful and he won’t spend the money to get it fixed right he’ll patch here and there and it doesn’t last for no time and he has some paying more rent than I do and if you call if your air conditioning goes out he complains because they charge so much for coming out to fix it and some of these apartments have carpet and some have tile floors and other things okay I’ve done my rant about our landlord oh I forgot to mention that the dope smoking in the apartment next door and the people that move in and don’t try to pick up their garbage they throw outside

I'm pretty sure whoever bought that property in a tear it down and make it a square boring house they call it the modern look everybody that has moved to Florida has brought up all the property if you go on UA-cam go to Florida overpopulated there's 1100 people moving to Florida every day if I could live in the woods I would sorry your deal went through looking at that house maybe a better one to come along down the road I hope you have a really nice day tomorrow it's good you're doing that sleep test I have to do one myself first thing my doctor asked me was do you sleep in your recliner I said no why she said oh I was just curious well anyway it would be good to see how your chest thing works at home then maybe I can request that for my with my doctor hope things go well I know it looks funny sometimes when I write is what is happening is I am talking to my tablet and that's why it looks funny sometimes I don't look at it check on it peace out David and I hope you do get 100% coverage with your VA you deserve it✌🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸👍

Funny how people chime about how people are moving to their state because they ruined the state they were in....Well far as that goes, i would say this....Use Calif. for example....People seem to hate Calif. moving to their state...Funny you didnt hear that whine for about the past 50 yrs when the people from every other state in the country was moving to Calif in droves ...Seems to much select memory going on these days....Another funny thing is the people leaving Calif and moving to other states for the most part are not native Californians...They are people and family that moved there over the yrs, made their livings, grew their families, and now want to retire back from where they came or someplace else nice and more affordable for retirement....So if anybody ruined Calif. it was the Johnny come lately from other states, not the natives...
