❤thank you
Of course!!
Cool video! Lots of bling. Love the body. Super cool. The brass cross brace is scary close to the motor wires. I used heat shrink tubing on a recent build to protect my ESC from touching a cross brace. Also the stock charger (as horrible as it is) does balance charge the battery. It's in the fine print in the manual.
Cheers 🍻
Thanks for the tips on the brass. And yeah, I get that the stock charger balances, but you can’t check to see if it’s balanced or fix very out of balance cells.
Small question: Why didn't you replace the brass bearings with ball bearings?
I just didnt have a set. Also, the bushings are better if you are going to drive it in water at all. Bearings rust, bushings dont.
Do the lower mounting holes actually help give the truck a little lift?
Yes.
🇩🇰🇩🇰Nice video info🤗thanks🙏🇩🇰🇩🇰
Thanks for watching!
For some reason my servo does not fit in the brass servo mount, it fit fine in the original plastic one. It looks like it went right in for you?
Might have to trim a tiny bit on the servo or mount. See where it’s hiting and give a trim.
Have you tried their brass HC links?
No, I’m not really the biggest fan of brass links or skids. Brass likes to stick to rocks.
Will these fit the hi country k10
Donno. I don’t have a hi country.
@@TheShopMiniRC the bronco and defender and f150 and hi country, are different in drive shafts and hi clearance links,as they are longer fyi
@@rickbarg3980 yeppers we are aware but good info for new people. This video was out before the high trail existed.
Question. Which of the three shock tower shock mounting holes is the factory ride height?
Honestly, I’m not sure. I feel like it’s the middle of the 9 holes. Leaning the shocks inward, even at the same level, will lower the truck.
@@TheShopMiniRC I was asking because I’m going to be running the Losi mini t shocks. And I wasn’t sure which hole would be factory height. So I could base it off of that and adjust from there lol
There is another version 44 ac charger that comes with bananas plugs , you recommend that one or the 34 ac ?
Either will likely work fine
Would the shock towers work without using the brace in between the towers? Since they would be mounted to the chassis anyways.
You could probably get away with it, but it’s part of what keeps the chassis stable and not flexing
u think the FCX18 is better than the trx4m?
There are plus’ and minus’ to both and we have a bunch of both. I do love the fcx platform out of the box better than the trx though. The 2 speed is fun
What’s the advantage to having the shocks at an angle vs vertical? 😅
Better articulation / travel.
They pivot at the rod ends/shock cap so they're further up at full compression and further down at full droop which means more travel
@@TheShopMiniRC bit of a late question but the vid is new to me! Do you know if the towers also fit the Bronco body too? I know the Injora version doesn't!
@@annex-rc they should. I know Meus tries to design everything to fit both bodies and if it doesn’t fit, they will be sure the product description will mention it.
Blinged MEUS. I have the mudflaps and exhaust on mine they look great. I put the screws in backwards on the front flaps because the ends would have rubbed on the tires.
Thanks a ton for watching the whole video!! Makes sense with the screws.. we might swap it up!
you could easily move those rear shock towers to the front you could of mounted them to the holes in front of it
Great tip.
@@TheShopMiniRC i was just watching along in the vid seen there was a set of holes infront of it also like you had two mounting positions you could also get the flex blades from injora sucha great upgrade not only fo you get great flex but you get a piece that mounts to the shock tower that pushes the mount forward to the front of the truck giving you that angle i put them on my stock shock towers my advice tho DONT put the flex blades on the front only the rear. you have to buy them as a set but it just works better to have the rear flex more then again they may work even better if i do put them on the front but use a limiting strap so it cant drop both down at once right now im stock chassis and body but i think im gonna get the injora tarantula chassis. i should make a recent vid of my rig my newest ones are months old now. its not on this account check" The Pvpete Show " thats my channel name i dont upload often though actually ill just link a vid.

@@petejones6827 flexblades are horrible. I have a set and naw. A proper suspension setup doesn’t use flexblades.
@@TheShopMiniRC they are horrible if you use them wrong like i said use only the back and you have to use limit straps so they both cant drop at the same time 99% of people that use them dont put on a limit strap then when it preloads on climbs it fucks you over the flex blades are used to drop one side down at a time farther to get wieght lower and to get grip when normally your tire would be in the air. ive tested over and over again on the rear and every time flex blades with limit straps worked better than without or with and no limit strap
maybe you dont know what a limit strap is. its a line or strap or however you wish to do it that makes your diff only fall so far but acts as a fulcrum so side to side you can still get the wheel down lower
Не понимаю, почему колеса можно вращать вручную? Из-за передаточного отношения мотор может вращать колеса, но колеса не должны вращать мотор же? В мостах штатные шестерни?
You should be able to rotate the wheels from the axles and move the motor. In an SCX24 though, you can not do that, because of worm gears. TRX4M has ring and pinion which can rotate from the motor OR the wheel. SCX24 has worm gear which can only rotate from the motor.
@@TheShopMiniRC ok. Sorry for my English, hello from Russia:) I put some grease on tuning low range gears and it rotate now:))) magic 🤔😂 thx u. And I also partly solved the problem of damage stock plastic gears. I put very thin washer (6*8*0,2mm) to both gears in axles and they fit tightly now🔥🔥🔥 I hope it can helps new byers and save their money… at least for a long time, I hope :))
those shock mounts are a bad design i liked them until i seen the location of the cross bar its too far back they could of easily moved it up 2-3 mm and it still not be in the way of the servo and not be in the way of aftermarket motors with boards on them
Fair
I have the Defender & I just got a Treal Red anodized steering & red anodized RC Lions suspension links.
Nice! Sounds like an awesome rig in the works.
Being in 'phase' does not matter when you are just barely moving when crawling...
it can matter when at extreme angles. It helps reduce binding and bumping, even at slow speeds.
Blinged menus.
Thanks a ton for watching!
