Just "found" your site. Loved everything. A little money saver for you and your followers...I use regular acrylic wall paint on my farmhouse projects. I use it for my base coat AND then use chalk paint as my top coat. Great results and my acrylic paint has lasted forever.

I stopped on your video for the Peace on Earth sign...i think its a great sign to leave out all year long and couldnt think of a way to get it to incorporate into all seasons but the nice wood tone with creams u used was perfect! U can "Mod podge" "of "the Free because of the Brave", to Seal them. Plus U CLD probably use shoe box tops for your "Fall" where U used wood. Makes them lite to hang on the wall!
Just a tip to let you know that when using transfer tape scraping from the back on a hard surface will help you stick the letters to the transfer tape much better. Note how easily it stuck down to the plate when you burnished it the table cloth is too soft to give it good contact to transfer paper hope you understand what I mean. Beautiful DIY’s! If you put the transfer tape on your shirt before putting it on your letters it'll take some of the stickiness off the tape so it doesn't hold your letters as hard. :) Your stuff looks great!!

Hi I don't usually comment on any of the craft sites but I watch you all putting spackle on, I thought you would find this useful but if you use water and damping the item your spackling and keep wetting your fingers you will find the spackle will go on so much easierx

Hi there, you just got yourself a new subscriber, so hello from Germany ... love your projects, watching such a long video is a real treat (except for the ads of course which drive me literally crazy 🤣) ... I do have a question regarding the hot glue : I see all you DIY'ers out there using it for almost everything you do ... do you ever have any issues with it ? it's an instant hold, but on most materials I'm using it, it doesn't hold for very long 😳
Hi! Thanks for the sub. So I've gotten more in the habit of using E6000 or wood glue and then adding dabs of hot glue for immediate hold. Works like a charm! I still only use hot glue if I'm just gluing an embellishment on.

I would think that to fix the sticky you could dust it with baby powder.
I'm personally just use clear contact paper from Dollar tree for my transfer paper.
