I am so with you on a crappy DT, mine is horrible. I hate that you can't get those things, but we wouldn't have all of your great ideas, if your DT was a great one. 🤷 You come up with some of the best ideas, to use unexpected things, like your cool whip bowl handles. ❤❤❤ I was just wishing I had some of that leather ribbon for handles. I do have a cool whip bowl, though.

My Dollar store looks like a bomb blew up in it all the time...boxes, products ,trashy shelves and yesterday half the shelves were empty .....could hardly get thru the isles.....with all the Dollar Tree DIYers out there you would think someone in corporate would wake up and make the stores more presentable and fill with good items...... This metal shelf is adorable.....it gave me an idea for plant shelves using our left over barn metal and old barn wood... Nice video.....now if someone out there knows a Dollar Tree CEO tell them to please clean up their stores especially in the Hocking Hills of Ohio.....

I want to share something that I got after a suggestion from you. I went to my local Home Depot and asked about donate strips. They had no idea what I was talking about until I described what they were used for. The guy who was helping me, Jeff (thanks again for your help!), walked straight to them, told the lumber guy he was taking some of his "sticks" - that's what they call them - and he pulled out 3 of them, about 4 feet long each. And they were free!!! Free wood is always good, especially with the cost of wood nowadays! YAY!!!
Awesome!!! That's why I try to give so much detail and show photos too, so people can describe them, cause I suspect they all have their own terminology for them. My guys call them scrap wood, lol. You can take a screenshot of the photo to take to them too, so they know! So glad you got some! xox ♥️♥️

I went to Home Depot two days ago and they have bundles of laths for $15.98, which is a good deal, BUT I was looking through them, touching them and they were very rough, brittle and splintery and most were cracked. I didn’t see any singles to sort through.

I made the mini ladder with DT items and had a towel hanging on it. I never warmed to it. Luckily last fall I found one at Hobby Lobby for either 75% or 90% off and bought it. I did make a large one to hold my crocheted and knitted blankets. The little farmhouse table is perfect for my needs in my master bathroom. I plan to make two of them. One for me and one for my husband.

I enjoyed this video so much, I have nautical decor in my guest bathroom. It is so fun, the only thing left to do is a wall shelf. Look at goodwill and you may find some belts you can use in place of the leather ribbon from dt. That's 2hat I've used.

You could use old leather belts from thrift store. They always have tiny belts for your "faux leather" look.

I enjoyed this video so much, I have nautical decor in my guest bathroom. It is so fun, the only thing left to do is a wall shelf. I would like to make a three shelf one but I need it to be sturdy enough to him hevior decor pieces..I created mine around mermaids that my daughter made in ceramic.. thanks for sharing your great ideas. 👍🙋🙋
Your cute little table would be nice in the bathroom for jars of q-tips,cotton balls,makeup brushes,etc.

Those little milk bottles....so cute and clever! and the glass ones you painted white: what if you left the top inch and a half unpainted? Then it would look like the bottles were full of milk!

You can get cookie trays that are tin which would work and feel and look really real. You get 2 sheets for $1 . Just one thing I tried.
