The P320 XFIVE Legion is the ultimate handgun for the serious shooter. The weight was increased to 43.5oz thanks to the innovative TXG tungsten-infused grip module. This new product is the first of its kind in the firearms industry with the weight of steel and the flex of polymer, reducing muzzle flip by up to 50%. The trigger pull of the XFIVE Legion is up to 30% lighter with the new skeletonized trigger, which increases shooting speed and accuracy. The recoil system has been upgraded to use a solid steel guide rod and a 14lb 1911-style spring, with an additional 12lb spring included. The signature Legion Gray finish comes standard, as well as Legion markings on the sight plate and on all three of the Henning Group® anodized aluminum basepads. All of these new features coupled with the removable magwell & grip weight, Romeo1PRO optic-ready slide, 5” bull barrel, and Dawson Precision® fiber optic adjustable sights catapults the P320 XFIVE Legion ahead of the competition and sets a new standard for all pistols. - Розваги
I own a multitude of pistols including glocks, springfield armory, S&W and of course 3 different Sigs. I picked up my P320 X 5 Legion two weeks ago and couldnt make it out to the range for a week. This gun is truly a pleasure to shoot. It's in an entirely different league.
I just got the X5 Legion and this gun Shoots great! It just feels right in the hand, seems very balanced even though most of the weight is in the grip. I put the Tungsten guide rod in it, plus the Delta Point Pro red dot and man this gun is a Shooter! Feels like hardly any muzzle flip and returns to target very fast. My wife wants one now, she has the first X5 and that’s very nice, maybe I might just get her the frame.
Thanks for the Great review! I am wanting to purchase this pistol and you two just made up my mind quicker.
Wow, very nice.. just looking at your vid.. and seeing what you get from it..and the performance. Now I want one. Thanks!
Thanks for putting the video together! I just upgraded from the standard X5 to the Legion and can't wait to get some rounds down range!
Thanks for watching! Let us know what you’d like to see next!
So how do you like the Legion?
Awesome review. I'm waiting on ye ole FFL to grab mine from UPS.
@FrogBones Family Shooting Center You blew my ear drums out! Had to turn up the volume to hear you speaking then the music kicked in and blasted my ears!
Sorry! We’re still playing around with our camera/microphone set ups for filming. Thanks for the feedback, we’ll make the adjustments!
I Loved my Sig Sauer X5 Legion 🔥🔥🔥💯
mike youre wearing your earpro backwards i think lol. the mics are facing towards the back XD good video though, im looking at getting a x5 legion, how would yall say that it would do for conceal carry? im not worried about the weight but im curious if you can take the flare on the magwell off.
Sig keeps taking things to the next level. They are always leading the way in innovation. Pros and cons with doing this, but they are leading the way for sure.
@Claymore - The only innovative thing Sig did was the P365 but it comes with probably the worst reliability in the striker category. The P320 is just another Glock replica but that shoots if dropped and unable to withstand harsh elements. Also the P320 modularity design was actually a patented design by Steyr that's currently suing Sig.
So remind me again where is Sig leading in innovation again?
@@reachblowsdick7222 Glock replica??? LOL
@@82lowe36id - Well let's see now... Sig usually make their pistol all steel hammer fire with external safety levers and decocker on the sides. Then after Hk abandoned their own polymer striker creation and a decade later Glock revolutionizes it and makes it cost friendly, reliable and the "must have" for LE and military. Sig then after many failures to compete decides to make a cost friendly polymer, striker fire, external safety/decocker lever removed pistol that is opposite of their original all steel hammer fire pistols and in almost every way a Glock like design pistol.....with the stolen idea of modularity from Steyr of course, lol!
Ever taken a P320 apart? They have so many similarities to a Glock in the slide area. Like for instance the extractor and the extractor plunger & spring on a P320 is on the exact same spot it is on a Glock. The striker pin design with the pin spring is an almost replica of a Glock's (no hammer fire anymore remember!). It also has the spring cup for the firing pin like a Glock. It's got the same striker housing like a Glock. It's got the same rear slide cap like a Glock. It also has a striker safety & spring like a Glock.....but the Glock's actually works! Hence the Glock will not fire when dropped.
Sig tried to make a polymer hammer fire "half Glock" pistol to compete with Glock by releasing the P250, but again it was still hammer fire and striker fire was the way to go in modern times. So Sig just decided to go full Glocktard mode and released the P320. Of course Sig still wanted to not make a safety switch on the trigger like pretty much all other polymer striker pistols and they ended up with a P320 that shot their owners when dropped, LOL!
So again, YES, a Glock replica! ....minus the PROVEN durability and reliability :)
@@reachblowsdick7222 ok
@@82lowe36id - You're welcome :)
@frogbones family shooting center Were you guys able to get an out of the box trigger pull weight?
Hey so on my x5 legion shakes when I engage the triggerlike the rear sights lift and drop before and after I fire it
FB is awesome!
n00b question please - At 0:52 you release the slide using the slide catch. I just got this firearm brand new a few days ago. With an *empty mag* loaded the slide catch is nearly impossible to press for a release of the slide. I have to rack the slide back to release. Is this just a matter of needing a break-in period? Or is it because the mag is empty? I'm guessing your mag was empty at 0:52 but your slide released with ease. Thanks.
I would love that gun holder. is that available for purchase anywhere?
which would you chose a glock 34 or the x5 legion i’m between both
How do you think this gun holds up in 2022 at this price point? Is there a similar size gun at a similar price that you would put above it?
Yes, I do have this beauty, I can not find a bad thing about her, it is my "go to", if I need to grab and go, this is what I grab every time. I am a 61yo female and my hubby got this for me for my birthday. As for the price, WORTH EVERY PENNY,,,,
Why did they make the lines at the top of the grip and around the beaver tail so pointy and blocky same way with the other x frames. Don't get it
How many rounds on the stock magazine?
Nice gun.....to heavy for light carry optics in ipsc, likely you need to go to open in uspsa due to weight. I think :)
Is it just me but were these guys just whispering. Then they added music that would make you lose an ear drum?
Where can I get that Sig Sauer pistol stand?
Sig striker fired pistols are some of the best in the world!
Truth 🙌
@Bama Sux - Yeah up until you drop it and it shoots your leg or worst, LOL!
Would this gun be a good gun for self defense?
43.5 ounces is actually 2.7 lbs #themoreyouknow
We're bad at math its 4lbs loaded... Sorry for the misinformation
DirtyBirdTactical oh you’re fine. It was just a clarification and not meant to be sassy lol very informative video btw which means now I need one.
@@dbt7962 I'm pretty sure it's still not 4lbs loaded
I’m still in disbelief that this gun retails at $900. Thought it would be much more.
Come in and see us for an awesome deal :)
Still have one in stock?
Definitely a bargain for what you get. I'm a CZ and Walther guy but at this price I'm gonna have to at least try one out.
SEAKPhotog get it by the end of July and you get $200 to be used on the sig web store.
@@brianmanning9271 sadly my gun budget is completely maxed out right now or I'd consider it! But dang it, now you've really planted the "buy it anyway to get added goodies so it's really a bargain" seed.😁
Did you keep the 14lb spring in or did you switch to the 12lb for 115 grain ammo? I was having slide lock issues with my shooting today. Shot Fiocchi 115 grain with the 14lb and didn't bring the other spring with me.
There are a few higher V 115 grain that work with the 14 p spring. But not many. The 12 pound works with everything. Magtek 115 works all day long with the 14 pound
Ustedes venden armas estoy buscando sig sauer p 320 x five
Dude in green just repeats what the guy in black says lol
Wonder if it will shoot as good as the CZ shadow2
The only thing that keeps this out of my safe is the fact the finish comes off easily
I have the 226 SOA and the finish is crap!
Do you have a trigger gauge to check Sigs claim of a 25% lighter trigger or were you just going off of feel?
We do have a trigger gauge, we’ll break it out and do some more testing!
@@FrogbonesFamilyShootingCenter Mine measures 3.75 lbs. out of the box.
We were using statistics from Sig's promo page, we do have a trigger pull scale but we believe the 25% weight reduction in the trigger is just the actual trigger weight from the lightening cut, the pull weight feels the same.
@@FrogbonesFamilyShootingCenter I have a standard X5 also and the new one has a half pound lighter trigger pull.
@@charleswtuggle So what were the results?
Got 1 on layaway
How would compare the Sig X5 Legion to a CZ Shadow 2 or the Wilson Combat Berretta 92G? If I could only buy one?
i saw polymer xfive, 4/21rd mags instead of 3 17, unless ubreally intend to only shoot idpa, or ipsc. then cool.
but imo out of this three id go sig, but that cz shadow is huge, inshooting sports. ibdont see the point in a wilson 92
I own a Sig Sauer P320 X5 Legion and a CZ Shadow Tac II. Both are fantastic. If I had to chose one. The CZ all day. CZ Custom overhaul with the best trigger I had the pleasure to use.
@@cory5525 yeah, dudes love there czs
@@cory5525 Thanks for the reply. I am thinking the same thing. I love my CZ's.
Are these available in California? I can't tell from the Sig website. Thanks
HA! Good luck. I left that horrible place and couldn't be happier.
Yes they are, just the 10-round version though
@@osubeav24 Since my question over 4 weeks ago I have done some digging. No they are not available. See here: www.oag.ca.gov/firearms/certified-handguns/search
did he say he has antigun stickers on his truck?
He meant he doesnt have a bunch of gun stickers on it
🔥👌💪💯
there are 16 oz in a pound, so a 43 oz gun is 2 pounds 11oz, a 4 pound gun would be 64 oz.
Hi, how does this the P320 X-Five $900 compare to the CZ Shadow 2 $1100? Is the CZ Shadow 2 still King in that price range?
Variety is the spice of life, why have only one or the other?
@@FrogbonesFamilyShootingCenter True and that's why I own a few different guns in different calibers. I've had my heart set on the Shadow 2 until this came out. If I buy another 9mm, I want it to be the best gun in that price range. To me the Shadow 2 is King but I need to shoot new P320 X-Five Legion before making any purchase.
Is this to big for concealed carry?
they have a carry version for 729.00, but they are sold out all over.
@@honkhogan21M - lol, no they're not. I can go into the gun store near me right now and buy or rent an X Carry. Or just order it through the Sig website through their online retailers and have it shipped to your local FFL store.
I just bought one last Friday.. Great pistol... No extra Recoil spring and 3 - 10 round mags.. What the heck changed? And why?
I got my recoil spring and 17 round mags.
@@benl308 That's awesome!! I'm not sure what happened with mine. I need to call Sig and find out.. I will post what I find out from Sig.
@@bigtzone4331 do you live in a mag capacity restricted state?
@@benl308 NO!! Montana the last Great Gun State.. :)
Called Sig Today.. They said I received a Mag Compliance Case - Weird.. I live in MT, with no restrictions.. But Sportsman's Warehouse does transfer them around to different stores.. Sooo, it's on them. Morel of the story.. double check the case and mags before buying I guess. Thanks Tad
i just got a xfive original after the price drop 689
Bro what. Where
@@CoasterCoat dude its goin cheaper than that now. im kinda pissed but its so hard to find black, look online, do u have like a local gun shop you deal with? an FFL? if not just look or call around for one and ask what they will do it for, they will have tonorder it. from lipseys or davidsons something like that most likely. or i have a place saved in my phone i found iut about on UA-cam. they can ship them tax free outta state. lmk ill get ya the name n number, but i believe they could only get the coyote tan version, but all the same, brand new, 4/22rg mags.
where? I'm looking online and they're all $850-$900
Looking at the specs, the gun has a weight of 43.5 oz. The SSP, ESP and CDP Divisions of IDPA have a limit of 43.00 oz. with the empty magazine installed. Help me understand why Sig would design a gun and call it Competition specific, and yet it can't be use in IDPA matches. I must be misunderstanding something.
There's a removable weight in the grip
Seems odd and you are correct the limit is 43oz. Almost seems deliberate that they went . 5oz over?
The magwell flare is heavy and not idpa legal remove it and it will meet weight and SSP requirements add it back and shoot USPSA They did it so you can shoot whatever you want by adding and removing components its a very clever setup.
yeah yeah yeah kosher induced polymer frame. we heard it million times already. all dressed but no bullets to blow.
The music is louder than the gunfire... :-/ There's no need for music in a gun review.
seriously! how hard is it to equalize the audio? instead they have everyone whisper and the music blasting
I hope you don't check me out at the register.
Not 4 lbs just under 3
40ish oz is 4lbs? 😂😂
Next time video the gun closer. We want to see the gun not you guys .
Thanks for the feedback! We’re constantly refining our production processes, we’ll make some adjustments in the next video, subscribe and be on the lookout!
Thank the good lord the thing was unloaded, I really hate the vids that use fully loaded firearms during these demos

Why wasn't this submitted for the XM contract. SigArms sucks.
@Bmos21 - Because it would cost Sig more to distribute the X5-Legion than the M17. I've shot both the X5-Legion and M17 and they are really not that different besides the curve trigger on the M17 vs the slanted straight X5 trigger. You have to be a real Sig enthusiast to spot all the little differences but a novice gunner wouldn't notice too much. It's like driving a GT Mustang then driving a Boss 302, it's not at all like going from a GT Mustang over to a Lamborghini.
Same for many other pistols. I shot the Gen 5 G17 and thought....meh cool. Then I shot the G19x and thought....meh cool. Then I shot the Gen 5 G34 and thought....meh cool. They're not that different except the trigger is better on the G19x but not to the point of celebrating. Sig is spitting out many of these "special edition" P320 pistols at double the price to make up for the huge price cut they made for the XM contract.....and to pay for all those lawsuits, lol!
Can't review a firearm effectively untill you've put at least 1000 rounds through it, pretty sure Honest Outlaw does 2000, Sage Dynamics probably does more than that. It's like taking a race car around the track for one lap and telling me you're now an expert in that race car... No, no you're not. At best this is an unboxing and first impression video.
Stfu. They were giving their first impressions and observations. Get a clue kid. That's all this was. Period.
Why @ that price is crazy. The Sig won’t shoot any better than the other Glock clones. Save 400$ & buy CZ P10 if you like polymer junk!
CZ is complete trash kid. Get a clue before you post.
Lol, like Sigs quality doesn’t suck! Lmfao ..cktard.
It's actually less than 3 pounds I don't know how you got 4 pounds
