    Your feelings about imposter syndrome and about feeling uninteresting or stupid at uni compared to other students resonated with me so much, and I'm sure with a lot more people! It's very easy to feel this way - as you also said - especially in a highly competitive environment. I always tell myself that I got my place for a reason and the admission committee does their job the best they can, and I deserve my place. You deserve yours too, you've got this!! ✨

    So strange I also did economics for my undergrad, and then did development studies/international development a couple of years ago at LSE (on a scholarship scholarship otherwise I wouldn’t of been able to afford it with my disadvantaged background) as it seemed much more interesting. Defo go to Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan. All three are incredible! I spend a month in France after I finished and wished that I did the three language lessons available at the language centre at LSE.
    On impostor syndrome will soon realise that everyone is also pretending to be smarter than they really are, I had the same feeling as a home student.

    please speak up about palestine, you have done videos relating to blm,activismand veganism which is great. many say this is a complex situation but it's really not, 10000 people are dead and UA-camrs are so quiet , as if Palestinians are not worth talking about but everyone could speak up for anyone else. People are scared of being named antisemitic, but it's not antisemitic to call for a ceasefire. please use your platform, thank you , you have good videos

    • @sd7048
      @sd7048 7 місяців тому +4

      I know you may not have the time to speak on everything going on in the world which is a lot, but this is the biggest genocide we are seeing right now. please let palestinian people be worth your time.

      She doesn’t have to do anything. Loads of people have done so now, it’s not something that’s not known - BLM was fairly new and not a lot of people were speaking up for it whilst you got Arab literal Kings and Queens speaking up for it.
      And yes it is complicated - I haven’t met one pro Palestinian who has condemned Hamas for all their atrocities or other Palestinians for celebrating what Hamas did.
      Hamas members live in luxury while their own people don’t have basic necessities. Wake up. I wish Arab/Muslims were as outspoken about other issues, like Muslims being kept in concentration camps in China or how Arab leaders treat their own people (ps they’ve killed way more Arabs than the IDF ever has). But for that everyone is quiet.
      I’ve even seen people at protests holding up this verse from the Quran:
      'You will fight against the Jews and you will gain victory over them. The stones will saying: 'Oh slave of Allah! there is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him’
      Many people are not upset because of what’s happening, they’re just angry the perpetrators in their eyes are the Jews.

    • @polyglot2023
      @polyglot2023 6 місяців тому

      @@sd7048it’s really not. It’s hilarious for you to even think that.
      The Uyghur genocide is. But no one is speaking on it. What’s happening in Palestine is not a genocide - genocide is what Hamas stated in their charter they want to do to Jews.
      Muslims live in their own bubble because I can’t believe I’ve just seen this comment. The Israel-Palestine war doesn’t even make it top 10 worst things that are currently happening around the world.

    • @sd7048
      @sd7048 6 місяців тому

      @@polyglot2023 @polyglot2023 blm was a name put to a movement that was already there, its not new. if you look at any palestinian interview they're being asked if the condemn hamas first and they are usually saying yes, the questions isn't asked for the opposite way round. I have no idea what you've been seeing because what you've just said is so false . Many Arab Muslims are outspoken about the uyghur Muslims, again another topic I've seen loads on so don't know where you're getting that info it's common knowledge and so many people know about this. maybe you're just not around or speaking or listening to many Arab Muslims clearly. additionally , it is a genocide its been happening for over 75 years, and idf generals and bibi has said quite clearly their aims. multiple times we've had to explain that Jewish people are not the perpetrators, zionists are. Jewish people stand with us on marches, their voices are valuable. from how you speak its quite clear you don't know anything about the torture the Israeli government has put palestinians in throughout the years, the number of dead bodies, the killing of unarmed civilians, which palestinians have documented throughly. for many years. you choose to not listen to palestinians because it goes against what you believe about Arabs. you have no idea of the campaigns and people speaking out about Arab issues you think it's not been happening
