This interview should set the standard for all future interviews. The interviewer asked questions to get the expert opinion of their obviously supremely qualified subject, did not ask leading questions and extracted the maximum amount of information in the time available. Well done.

As a US taxpayer, let’s talk about what doubling support means. I wanted this done in June, 2022. Now, under President Trump, I expect ZERO direct aid and instead a credit line using Lend/Lease Authorization for $250 billion to buy US made weapons. The credit line would be secured by Ukrainian resources including interest on frozen Russian funds by the US and Europe.
1: US supplies 150 F16 fighters and an ammo array. ($95 billion fighters, $15 billion ammo, $5 billion maintenance plan). $115 billion.
2: US supplies 600 Bradley IFVs ($750 million, ammo $1 billion, $500 million maintenance plan). $2.5 billion.
3: US supplies 10 Patriot batteries. ($25 billion, ammo $5 billion, maintenance plan $500 million). $30.5 billion
4: US supplies 200 HIMARS launchers plus funds Ukrainian 400 HIMARS variants. (US version $700 million, Ukrainian version $600 million, $5 billion). $6.3 billion.
    5: US supplies 1500 MRAPS. $.75 billion.
6: US supplies 300 Abrams M1A1 MBTs. ($6 billion, ammo $.5 billion, maintenance plan $1 billion). $7.5 billion.
7: US supplies ammo for current weapons. $25 billion.
This is $187.55 billion. If Ukrainians have the troops and leadership to win, this amount of equipment will make Ukrainians a full peer with Russia, not just an asymmetric peer. Nevertheless, the weak Officer Corps of Ukraine, starting with GEN Zaluzhny, is bad a Brigade Levels and HORRIBLE at Division and Corps Levels. Most Ukrainian Officers could not pass NATO training at their Rank Level. GEN Syrskyi and about 18 Brigade Commanders are NATO quality combat leaders. Legacy Soviet Unit Organization and Schemes Of Maneuver are still most common. Only the NCO Corps is NATO trained and NATO quality. However, NCOs only lead Squads and maybe Platoons. NCOs cannot execute Offensive Operations without Officers.
It might be possible to expand the French trained NATO Unit Organized Brigade just returned to Ukraine, into a NATO quality Division by June. However, this will require giving up experienced Officers and NCOs to Staff a Brigade HQ and 4 Battalions plus 1 Regiment Artillery. Can Ukrainians afford to lose 3 Brigades worth of leadership???

I agree generally with your quantities of gear, but:
Where do the Ukies come up with another 150 F-16 pilots?
Where does the US come up with enough missiles for 600 (!) HIMARS launchers? Probably 50 of those launchers should be equipped to launch ATACMS, but, ATACMS missiles are in short supply also.
IMO, Ukraine needs drones, drones, and more drones, and in particular they need stealthy long range autonomous* drones that can lay waste to Russian refineries. They can build these if we supply critical parts, however, production facilities need their own defense.
Drones that can themselves launch modest size HARM missiles are also needed in quantity. Long range drones can be operated by a wide range of people not physically fit for front line and other physically demanding duty, from locations of relative safety. This greatly expands Ukraine's "manpower". Ukraine can eventually sort of hollow out key infrastructure in Western Russia, and, unlike Ukraine, nobody's coming to help Russia rebuild.
Ukraine now has their Peklo cruise missile in limited production. This needs to be supported and increased as much as possible, but, again, production must be protected.
As can be easily ascertained from the above, the Ukies need much expanded defensive missile capability, anti-glide bomb capability, and anti-drone capability. "Shoot the archer" is best, but, it is very difficult to get all the archers...

Doubling of military aid as well as Ukraine (somehow?) boosting its recruitment of soldiers could do the trick. The only problem is that it would be difficult to take out current personnel from the front line and train them into these up-to-date most modern weapon systems.
Maybe the basic increase of quantity in himars and F-16s could do the trick. Overpowering ruzzian airpower could do the trick in overturning the battlefield balance of power!?

Mr. Putin knew that some day this conflict was going to arise. That it happened sooner than later meant he wasn't as prepared as he should have been so he made a big mistake. The longer Ukraine can hold out the weaker he becomes and then like a wounded beast he will be attacked by every dog in town. People have long memories and they will pounce. The people you meet on the way up are those you meet on the way down and he's in for the same treatment he handed out. So long Vlad.

Let's stop giving them JUST the old stuff....Besides, we need the R&D numbers of newer equipment....let's really get them the good stuff, that even America's efficient military personal use. I say the word , "Efficient" because we are typically also using these systems with a lower amount of personnel in the field. The main problem is shortage of Technicians, training of equipment, logistical wait-time of deliveries, and of course, politics

Greed. He saw an opportunity to get very, very wealthy. Like we see with many billionaires, they have more money than they could ever spend but they want more. They must have a deficiency in their self-esteem and to them money = power and it is a band-aid for something else that is missing in their personality.
