- This video shows how to fix the water cooler by changing out the Relay and Overload Protector. It worked for my unit to get it back to cooling. I hope this will give you a way to test your unit to see if this is the same problem with yours.
Wanted to fix my Hamilton Beach water cooler that had stopped cooling about a week prior. Decided to switch out the Relay and Over Load Protector to see if it would help since most newer coolers seem to have bad reviews online. - Навчання та стиль
Excellent video with all the detail needed to work on the cooler Thanks
Very helpful. I’m gonna pull my old parts off today and check the numbers. Hopefully I can order them and have cold water soon. Thanks so much for sharing.
Good luck with it. I found the best price for the replacement parts on eBay. The same parts from regular stores were wayyyy too expensive. With my swap out, i was able to get the cold working to the level it was before it went out.
i have hamilton beach water dispenser model bl - 5 -2 its not working no light or compressor working. do you think try relay like on this video .

Very very helpful information and thank you so much. I’m gonna look my part number and order from eBay to replace it myself. Thanks again !!

My Water dispenser works 24 hours, I mean, the compressor never stops... Is it possible to fix it by replacing Relay and Overload Protector?
Thank you!

Is there a way to adjust the thermostat? Make it more cooler
I wish...but manufactures don't offer that for the most part... and i figure maybe there is a way to create a hack to do it...but think about that the water is not coming out instant cold from the tap...but coming out cold from the "tank" that holds a bit of water pre tap.
There is a way to make it colder therea a screw to the thermostat I seen it here o. UA-cam
The problem i have is that my cooler isnt that cold... maybe 56 degree water
