146 is an insane topspeed for a motorcycle weighing 190kgs..With a lighter rider it may hit 150 as well..Though topspeed doesnt matter as this bike is intended for cruising and it will do 100 to 110 all day along without much fuss..
Please upload a video of mevrick wheather it can cruse at 25kmph at 5th gear. Can it climb up a 45,° climbe on 2nd gear , can a rider stand up and ride, etc.
Hero has really done a commendable work on this and the result is it's the most powerfull machine in its segment.

While its not exactly build for top speed or rapid or quick acceleration, a 0-60km/h under 4 secs, 0-100km/h under 10 secs & a top speed of 146km/h is not bad. Considering its weight & power figure, this is pretty good.
145 top speed hai to 110 pe cruise kregi its awesome.
Most Indians & Indian roads will be doing 90 max with comfort & safety! Wind buffeting will make a rider tide at those above 100km/h speed.

Its not sport bike to run on the track ..! So over all i think its a good start by hero after recently launched karizma ..! Though not a direct comparison but Gixxer 250 can easily beat this machine from Hero, which will be way too budget friendly when compared to mavrick 440.. After TVS Ronin this looks like another failed attempt, this time by Hero. it may turnout to be a honda unicorn for the touring world but only if the engine is reliable because looks will only attract the introverts...

Most of the new naked bikes from Indian/Chinese brands are really shame in term of top speed. The Engine is getting bigger, but it doesnt affect on speed. The bikes are all so heavy and slow. The only pro is the price. There is no other reason to buy so slow and heavy bikes if the price would be the same as top brand bikes like Honda/Kawa/Yamaha. Also KTM, but before 400cc is just 1-cylinder which is also a bad decision to pay that price for 1-cylinder. At least its so lightweight, 30-40kg less than Indian/Chinese hippos bikes. Even 300 Honda CB can reach 170+. Isnt a shame? Less engine size and same naked style.

Indian roads are not safe for higher speeds. 130+ is very practical for any tourer. People think lot about top speed and all. We don't drive vehicle in controlled Environment like tracks. We drive in practical road conditions. This Speed is very practical and safe speed for indian roads. People start comparing with royal Enfield.. Don't under estimate Hero brand. This is very well engineered bike in collaboration with Harley. It has its own flavour and it's own colour.
But still price segment me dekhe to fastest bhi hai ye...bas ek do bikes hi hogi isse daster😮

Be honest, which is smooth Hness 350 or Maverick?
Hness is the smoothest, but this is not bad at all. This has more cc, BHP and torque than the h'ness, also 8-9kg heavier but it has 6 gears instead of 5 on the h'ness. So overall this would feel punchier and quicker than the h'ness, but it may drink more petrol as it has a larger engine. You can squeeze almost 45kmpl on your h'ness if you keep it 80-90 in 5th gear which I highly doubt on this bike. Also there is this concern of this new engine and Hero mechanics and long term reliability. H'ness has been around for 3 years now and it's pretty solid. So you have to decide what's important for you. Even I'm in your same boat, I hope they drop the cb300r price by another 10k to add to the confusion 😂. Taxes are high here in Bangalore
But the local Hero dealer refused to give me test ride on the xmr210 saying they don't have test ride bikes. With that attitude, I'm afraid to buy their products.

Both has counter balancer shaft. So both are equally smooth.
A test ride will tell the difference more clearly.
Highness is good..But it lacks punch in top end..Also it lacks torque in low end in high gears which is uncommon for a long stroke bike..Thats the 2 draw backs.otherwise its pretty good..

It's an overdrive... Brings down the revs at cruising speeds which makes the engine more relaxed and end result is also better fuel efficiency.
Much like the 5th gear in Highness350

I would rather buy Harley. For a negligible increase in price in EMI terms you are getting a lot more. Why buy a watered down product with clear visible cost cutting that too at this premium price when you can buy the real deal.
It basically comes down to personal preference in terms of looks... I personally did not like the Harley (i saw it in the showroom)
Also, one has to decide whether they want to buy the cheapest bike from Harley or the costliest bike from Hero.
@@TheTwinPost Looks I can agree are subjective, I personally LOVED the Harley looks but I don't agree on making buying decision on weather it's the most affordable Harley bike or most expensive Hero bike. Dude, nobody cares about these things, you ride the bike and feel good. That's it. 90% of people don't care what you ride they just see a motorcycle.
Secondly this Hero doesn't feel like flagship and neither it is, since Harley would be the most expensive bike in Hero showroom. There are very explicit cost cutting in this bike so it doesn't feel like a flagship, Karizma has more premium equipment than this bike be it speedometer, link type suspension etc. They designed this bike like it will have a monoshock but than put twin shocks like it's a commuter bike. The speedometer isnone of the ugliest I have ever seen, it doesn't have any analogue meter but for some reason it's semi round. Semi round meter already looks ugly and are only present for analogu-digital combo. In Harley they made it completely round so it looks like any normal retro bike.
They should have priced this 1.8 lakhs or at least gave a ₹10000 introductory discount like with Harley & Karizma. They even reduced the torque. I bet you this won't surpass Harley's sales.
@@SurajSinghTomarArya You didn't get my point... What I meant by the term 'cheapest harley' or 'costliest hero' was that Harley makes alot more premium products than this one but Hero doesn't. I'm not the biggest fan of Harley's speedo too since it has alot of empty space around the edges but Yes it looks better than what is there on the Hero.
Look wise I find the qutub minar exhaust or Harley out of place but again those things are again subjective.
We'll see how these bikes performes when it comes to sales numbers because 40k difference is a lot for basically 2 bikes with "almost" the same engine.
Accelerator wires going all infront of the speedo on the Harley looked really bad and I hope Hero did it a bit better (I'll check that in showroom when it arrives there). The premium feel is missing from Harley (i expect it from Harley) just like it did with the Street750 although things were slightly better on the Street Rod.
I hope both the bikes do decent numbers.

Hero should seriously condider going back into partnership with Honda. It will improve thier quality, image and sales. Instead what it does.....it tries ro relaunch a failed and unreliable harley brand that no one wants. No one bought harleys in the first place and because of poor sales it had to close shop from India.

See the torque, its a torque machine specially designed to climb hilly terrain.
Utter joke and from unreliable hero brand. Also using third grade Harley engine which was kicked out of India due to poor sales.
