99: a perfect introduction to the psychedelic nature of mob psycho. depicts a chaotic adolescence and could even be a celebration of that adolescence. perfectly fits the less structured but enjoyably chaotic nature of the first season. 99.9: pushes the psychedelic, drug-induced vibe even further while echoing one of the main messages of the anime “your life is your own”. the opening itself is more explosive, paralleling mob’s new openness to his own emotions, and could be seen as a celebration of animation. 1: the most climactic, cathartic, and maybe even emotional of all the openings. the strings in the song give it a real sense of finality. in this season, mob will realize his own individuality and learn to accept himself. a celebration of mob’s growth and his story

The title isn't a collage of panels any more, it's a collage of clips. The show isn't just paying its respects to the source material now but to its own journey as well, and it's well deserved.
Fantastic animation, great characters, interesting story, Mob Psycho 100 is an incredible anime that has easily become one of my top 5, can't wait for this to finally come out! Edit: it came out a while ago and I absolutely love it

This guy had a passion to tell stories, and even though he couldn't draw as well as a lot of other mangaka, he never gave up on his dream. He is responsible for two of the most popular and influential series: One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100. Let this be a lesson to you: No matter how down in the dumps you feel, never stop pursuing your dreams. You can, and you WILL achieve them, as long as you never give up!
he did give up though. temporarily! when one punch man went on an indefinite hiatus way back. not to prove you wrong, but rather. if you gave up before? dig up and reignite those old passion projects. taking a hiatus can still improve your skills, reduce burnout, as long as you still take in and study what inspires you and supplement it with other endeavors. going back to stuff you thought you gave up on, is rescinding your initial feelings of defeat. forgive yourself, and get out there and get back to those dreams!

Is anyone gonna talk about how awesome it is for them to name the final op after ONE, as well as have it complete the number pattern of these song titles so well? One is so much more fitting of a title than 100 (which is what I'm sure we all expected). Mob psycho really feels like ONE's masterpiece and to see it adapted so respectfully and passionately is more than I could ever wish for.

The hand on the shoulder at the end representing reigen saying to mob “you can trust me”, “I’m here for you”, and “don’t grow up too fast” all in one to stop him from growing into someone he’ll regret. It’s so beautiful. This series and it’s finale has left me utterly speechless. Thank you studio Bones and thank you ONE.
studio bones really out did themselves again, I didn't think this op would be better than s1 and 2 - but wow, they took the trippy, colorful and flowy art-style from last ops and bumped the meter up to 1000%.

I see some people debating about the openings. Which I kind of understand. There's one fact you simply cannot deny though. This OP definitely feels like a finale. A lovingly crafted farewell to the series.

I dont think ive ever watched anything that i have connected with so much in my life. All 3 seasons, all perfect. Genuinely love everything about it. A piece of media i will cherish forever.
Finally we get to see Reigen again. The ultimate combination of badassness (if that’s a thing) and entertainment as he never fails to put a smile on my face. He’s just so well-rounded 🐐
I like how in op 2 the premise of it was talking about Mob but not necessarily Shigeo himself, just the concept that he lacks presence (which is why his name is Mob) and can essentially blend in with a crowd despite his powers, but in this opening they’re saying he’s the one and only and is his own unique person. Idk just a little thing I noticed. It shows he’s come a long way.
1st season set the settings and relationships and Mob feelings 2nd season gave the fruits of the 1st season while the 3rd seems to just let it all out to finally accept the change and close the 1st tome of mob's life THE TRAILER GOT OUT AND I CANNOT CONTAIN MYSELF

I started watching the anime partly for the bit at 1:24. I was like "I don't know who these two characters are but this is cute" AND IT WAS
I like how in op 2 the premise of it was talking about Mob but not necessarily Shigeo himself, just the concept that he lacks presence (which is why his name is Mob) and can essentially blend in with a crowd despite his powers, but in this opening they’re saying he’s the one and only and is his own unique person. Idk just a little thing I noticed. It shows he’s come a long way.
1st season set the settings and relationships and Mob feelings
2nd season gave the fruits of the 1st season while the 3rd seems to just let it all out to finally accept the change and close the 1st tome of mob's life

The most replayed part of this OP is the shot of Reigen turning around and honestly, I've probably contributed to that peak an abnormal amount.
