I think my favorite part of this OP is at 1:11. It's basically a reverse of the final shot of the first OP, which had the camera zooming out from Mob standing alone in front of a ruined city as he lost control. Here the camera zooms in on Mob. He's not losing control: he's taking action. He's not alone: he's surrounded by Reigan, Dimple, Teru, and Ritsu. It shows how far he's progressed as a character.
I get the feeling that this is the studio's favorite series to animate because it has good action and simple character designs, so they can try all sorts of cool techniques.
Also, cause it's a comedy they can go really extreme and not worry about it looking a bit goofy, which gives them so much more freedom when it comes to posing.
I think is way better in terms of animation. The first opening is amazing, the song 10/10 for me. This one is great, but not better than the first one, but again the animation is awesome

I just noticed this after looking at it more closely but at 1:17 (you kinda need to pause it just before the letters rearrange to read it but its clear) the letters are designed in a way that spells 'Mob Psycho 100' really for less than a second before being rearranged to 'your life is your own' I think that is really clever. This is just one op you cant skip while watching an anime.
With the entirety of the Mob staff coming back, I think we all knew season 2's opening was going to also be a banger, but HOT DAMN IS THIS GOOD!!! Now excuse me, as I go ahead and rewatch this a few more times.

What I love about these OPs is that they always use some of Reigen's most important lines as central phrases. The first one had "It's okay to be afraid" and "It's okay to run away" while this one has "Your life is your own".

Mob can do anything , except think for himself or understand how the normal world works. Therefore Reigen gives him advice on how to be normal. Mob is caught in a Psychic Battle Manga, but Reigen doesn't give a damn about cliches or narrative and just calls things for what they are. Him being a conman who pretends to be special is the irony of the situation that creates the comedy, but later on that too will lead to some emotional moments. Just another step for Mob to gain independence.
3 of my friends didnt wanna watch this show cuz of the art style, and when I convinced them, they watched the first 3 episodes and said it was boring. Two months following I started talking about it a bunch with my other friends, so they decided to try and watch it again. They loved the show so much and binged it in a day. They even made fun of the fact they wouldnt watch it before.
Fun fact: at 0:55 that whole sequence the background is of an actual city, run through many filters, which is surprising since whenever anime’s do this it normally looks bad, but this was great

Factually, One Punch Man is more popular than Mob Psycho 100 in America, but in my opinion, I think Mob Psycho is a better series. It makes you feel so many things. But they're both really good shows that make you think about the definition of a hero.
