You can hold the service and the wake at your house in most states. At that point, it's property and it belongs to next of kin. You don't need to embalm, either. Ask a Mortician
It's just that in SNL they are doing it too frequently. the whole point of breaking character is that the sketch is hilarious and they can't hold their laughter. Now, it seems just like bad acting and unprofessional.
She's a force! I recently watched an old Weekend Update where she did this LONG, comedic song, involving lots of bouncing all over the set, and she was like 9 months and 10 days pregnant. I don't know how she could even see the floor. And then this tonight ... a femme fatale if ever there was one.
Robbie S and then there were none is her best work so far. ABC Murders was good but And Then There were None was much better. Also, death comes as the end is also a good one.
2:29 And before that, she was too late with getting into the coffin and lying down, so the camera caught the last bit of her going from sitting to lying. Then she forgot to close her eyes and started laughing. I don’t think Amy saw her opened eyes, just that she had to turn her face away to hide her laughter.
Well, you can see she actually lies down in the coffin at the beginning of the scene (obviously the transition was too short), she has her eyes open and freezse, then closes her eyes, then breaks.
It’s well written and starts very grounded, whereas newer sketches already start at an obscene place, so there’s no way to heighten it when you already start at the top.

The fact that none of them seem surprised or alarmed or particularly sad at each death makes this so funny.

It was a re-enactment ... Funeral home couldn't afford professional actors!
The most fictional part is the low cost of the laser surgery...
Or how much the funeral home is making.
And the low cost of the funerals
