Just love this song for John's rhythmic best.
This is such a great and melodic tune, but powerful too. Great song
Sounds like a lot of their other songs, including Rocking All Over The World.
@@CB-xr1eg I don't think this sounds anything like RAOTW
it's all Quo, but they're way different tunes
@@StatusQuonald Listen to the guitar solo's. Very similar. But that's typical quo they were good at repeating themselves. Like the backbeat for this song. It's the same as several others.
I just listened to RAOTW and the guitar riff is almost identical to this one.
@@CB-xr1eg The guitar solo is totally different to my ears
@@CB-xr1eg absolutely nothing like it.... you do know what a guitar is don't ya?
Quo at their peak, christ they were great.
I love this song for John's rhythmic beat.
Such a shame this song was never on their set list
Love this song
I'd like to think it would have been had they toured in Germany in early 1980.
Yes ,possibly in place of dirty water maybe
I actually forgot what a great song this is from an equally brilliant album!
A Lancaster song. Best songwriter and singer of Status Quo. Love it.
Total horse shit and you know it Francis wrote all the best tunes by far but kudos to Alan who wrote a more than few good songs much love …..
Alan and Rick were Status Quo, Rossi now totally embarrassed by the songs that made them so huge.
I think you'll find Bob Young will claim to be the greatest songwriter.
@@pauljones9061As a complete Rick Parfitt fan, you do have to admit that Francis was the only one that was putting in the consistency that neither Rick or Alan had in their songwriting. And I definitely wouldn't say Francis is embarrassed by the songs that made them famous, it's just that he doesn't want to be reliving de samw thing over and over again for the sake of a couple nostalgic fanatics (like myself haha)
How come Rossi is singing the song then? Hahaha
Rossi wrote and sang and played lead guitar on most of the songs that made them a huge band.
Lancaster (and Coghlan) did nothing of any note after leaving the band.
Take your rose coloured spectacles off and face some hard facts.
Wow, the video quality is nigh on excellent, a great quo track, just top stuff, enjoyed every minute, can't get enough of the Quo, even at 61 years !!!
Fantastic! Yet another Quo track I adore❤❤🎸🎸👍🤘🤘
Für mich einer der besten Songs aus der tollen lp
First time I seen this video ,brilliant 🎸🎸🥁🎸
Just a great song from a great album
I never knew there was a promo video for this track. There are some fantastic deep cuts on the ‘Whatever You Want’ album.
Alans 's best song !!
Outstanding track…..
i like this song Fantastic.
Fantástico video de una canción muy buena y poco reconocida. Grandes los Quo!! 🤟
I had to wait pretty long to see this! Classic!
Only 44 years! 😁
So nice😊
I would love this to have been a single but it would have required a third single to be released as I'm not suggesting they cancel the other two.
Thanks for sharing.
In those days it was normally 2 singles for each album, Michael Jackson seemed to buck that trend with Thriller !
I noticed that Rick is miming the intro lead guitar on his guitar. Did he indeed play it on the studio recording? And what about Francis' guitar - did he ever used it on stage?
You mean the Coral Sitar? I don’t know whether he ever used it live, but he used it on a few tracks during that era, like ‘Too Far Gone’, for example.
Stephen Ackworth Beta Mouse, didn't use it live.
"Who asked you. When I was still learning, to come along and put me down"
😢
Written about the press I believe and they way they kept attacking Quo.
🤘
Whatever You Want album 1979 !
21 aprile... Roma 👑
What a ducking tune ….
This was quo, not the embarrassment Rossi turned them into
AI enhanced...ha
Thought whatever you want was a great album after 2 poor albums imo
My exact thoughts too , 2 poorly produced albums from Pip Williams, sorry Pip !
