- The Prodrive P25 is Subaru Impreza 22B restomod. It's powered by a turbocharged 2.5-litre flat-four boxer engine producing over 400 hp and 600 Nm of torque, combined with a six speed sequential gearbox. Just 25 cars will be produced, each with an original two-door Impreza WRX chassis at its core and extensive use of carbon composite for a total weight of 1200 Kg. The engine is based on Subaru’s latest 2.5-litre cylinder block, but has been totally re-engineered by Prodrive’s powertrain team with bespoke internal components, including new cylinder liners, pistons, con rods, and a valve train with variable cam timing. There is a Garrett performance road turbo with a high performance intercooler and airbox and an Akrapovič titanium and stainless steel racing exhaust system. Stopping power is provided by AP Racing brakes and Prodrive 8.5 x 19 rims are fitted with Bridgestone Potenza 235/35/19 tyres.
David Richards, Prodrive chairman, said: "I therefore believe we have achieved our vision of creating our own modern interpretation of the most iconic Subaru Impreza ever.”

Wonderful restomod, great to see cars from this era now getting remade.
But the price tag is bang out of order, you can buy a 250 SWB restomod for that money!
Yeah but Prodrive has set the bar from the rest of them, and in doing so would have come close to that money to make(especially 25 of them).

Subaru could build 90% of this car for 10% of the price if they wanted. And they’d sell out within 12 hours. Shame really. I know it’s not worth the money but I’d still buy if I could. Lol

I personally think it looks shit. The 22b is one of my favourite cars and this just looks like a shit copy. The colour is wrong, the wheels are too big, the divide in the middle of the grill looks nasty as hell and those wing mirrors look ridiculous.
