One should gently pull the cords out...then seal the area with a healing light. You wouldn't cut roots of a weed, put rather gently pull them out with a firm grip at the base of the plant Also important to say their name and yours, send the cords back with love. Sealing area with light very important...sometimes I have repeated the process if the toxic people are clingy. A bath in Epsom salt helps too. Peace. Take care.

In the video description, she explains this is the type of cord cutting that's suitable for a positive existing relationship that you're just wanting to clear away any unhealthy past energies or attachments from, whilst potentially continuing the relationship. Unplugging is for when you don't want to continue the relationship with someone at all. Different types of cord cutting should be used carefully.
I did it with my mother. I literally saw a thick black cord between her and me. There were several other cords of anger, hatred and jealousy. I cut all the cords and saw a lot of black gunk flow out of myself and her when the cords were pulled back. I was overwhelmed with anxiety and felt a lot of anger and heavy negative thoughts coming towards me from her. I found this video just in time.
Had to stop in the middle because I didn’t know what a ticker tape machine is without searching it? I feel that a different analogy for the words being transferred out of oneself may serve as more relatable, but otherwise lovely!

I needed to let go of an ex who has moved on and is likely going to marry someone else. When I did the meditation I saw this dark thorny vine connecting our hearts. I sobbed and felt so much emotional pain, it took me to the threshold of what I can feel. But then suddenly I felt relief, comfort, and lighter. I want their relationship to be okay - without my energy interference or his on mine. We were just young and accidently messed it up, he found her before we could make amends and she was ready for him. It's not healthy for me to hold on but somehow there was this cord and it was causing this pain for years. I'm grateful for this mediation.
Omg yo I just tried to do this meditation to cut the cord between me and my twin flame. As soon as I tried to visualize him my whole head board started shaking as if there was a earthquake. It scared me so much I jumped from my bed and stopped!

So after I cut our cord almost immediately I saw someone come in front of me and cup my face saying "It is going to be okay" and I just started sobbing. Whoever it was knew that it was going to be hard for me. I never had a good relationship with him, and all I ever truly wanted from him was to show he cared and actually loved me because most days it feels like he doesn't. when i saw him i had the feelings of throwing up again and felt it in my throat. i could only imagine him smiling while it was hard for me to talk/in disgust. i couldn’t seem to cut the cord that connected our third eyes together, it was just still there. i will definitely continue to use this

I bawled as soon as I did this, and I realized when you said to cleanse both of us, I hesitated, my light lingered at fingers length away from him, because it helped me realize I do not forgive him. My ego held onto not wanting to give him anymore. I need to work on that, and work on some things, but I am taking my control and power back.
*I feel like we must understand that sometimes we feel energy directed at us but it is not from us. It is someone else's attachments. We can feel it but can't pin point the what or why. When I did this meditation earlier today. I didn't anticipate the size of the cord that came into my mind between my son and myself. It was huge, like a like a previous comment stated, it was like a tree trunk, thick and black between our 2 solar plexuses. And there was 4 smaller cords on either side of that. My cousin told me not to cut the heart cord. But I didn't know which one that was! They all got cut- the small ones with gardening clippers and the big one I had to use a sword to slice it through. When I saw my son in the golden light, the cords on his body, though still black, the insides looked red. I took that to mean that they could be healed. They were sore, but they could be healed. I'm gonna have to do this one a few more times. Thank you for this. It's so pains me to have to cut the cords from my son. But his toxicity has really debilitated me and my ability to have other relationships with people, and confidence in myself.
Just finished this meditation to cleanse and release. Hopefully to return with a new beginning. A few minutes after the video, my heart had actual twinge of pain.
This blew me to tears when I was cutting the cord and when I was letting go when opening my eyes, I will have to do this a few times before I completely feel like my cord is cut finally cause, it’s a slow process for me

I didn't realize that this was what I needed to start moving on, but I had to find a way to stop the bonds between us. it was becoming painful when he was thinking about me but doing nothing to fix it or even rekindle the flame. It wasn't just him that I had to cut the threads to...it was the future life that I guess I still wanted.

I loved this, and I felt so good after I was done using this meditation in my spiritual bath. The cords I released were all electronic wires plugged into various parts of my body. When the meditation was done, the other person was still glowing in white light but it made me sad because they still had all the cords plugged into their body

Then see heart chakra glowing green in both and see golden cord of love strongly connecting heart to heart. I needed to cut cords with my past. I saw myself standing in different stages of life where I screwed up. What happened with me in the past traumatised me. I had to cut cords with it and make peace with it so I don't fear it anymore. Felt more reassured

When I did this meditation earlier today. I didn't anticipate the size of the cord that came into my mind between my son and myself. It was huge, like a like a previous comment stated, it was like a tree trunk, thick and black between our 2 solar plexuses. And there was 4 smaller cords on either side of that. My cousin told me not to cut the heart cord. But I didn't know which one that was! They all got cut- the small ones with gardening clippers and the big one I had to use a sword to slice it through. When I saw my son in the golden light, the cords on his body, though still black, the insides looked red. I took that to mean that they could be healed. They were sore, but they could be healed. I'm gonna have to do this one a few more times. Thank you for this. It's so pains me to have to cut the cords from my son. But his toxicity has really debilitated me and my ability to have other relationships with people, and confidence in myself.
That was AWESOME! It was hard at first but the second and third time I was only listening to you and not my resistant self. Divine timing indeed.

This blew me to tears when I was cutting the cord and when I was letting go when opening my eyes, I will have to do this a few times before I completely feel like my cord is cut finally cause, it’s a slow process for me
I want us to be happy in our separation. I wish him the best in life. My Life goes on with or without him because I know that the right person will come into my life at the right place, right time. ❤️

I didn't realize that this was what I needed to start moving on, but I had to find a way to stop the bonds between us. it was becoming painful when he was thinking about me but doing nothing to fix it or even rekindle the flame. It wasn't just him that I had to cut the threads to...it was the future life that I guess I still wanted.

I loved this, and I felt so good after I was done using this meditation in my spiritual bath. The cords I released were all electronic wires plugged into various parts of my body. When the meditation was done, the other person was still glowing in white light but it made me sad because they still had all the cords plugged into their body

Thanks .... imagine cords with diff color , tags sticked to it.. e.g. I saw red cord of anger , black of fear ... and enjoy cutting them.. then do the visualisation of golden shimmering light of love in all your body and radiate it out to other person. Then see heart chakra glowing green in both and see golden cord of love strongly connecting heart to heart. More you are expert in visualisation / spirituality you REALLY SEE MORE .. sharing my views for those whom my God wanted to tell this by my medium ..

I just did this cord cutting meditation and I feel a world of difference. I have other people I wish to cut a cord with/cleanse the relationship. I feel nothing but peace, pure love for that individual and I am grateful. This was so profound.

I needed to cut cords with my past. I saw myself standing in different stages of life where I screwed up. What happened with me in the past traumatised me. I had to cut cords with it and make peace with it so I don't fear it anymore. Felt more reassured
