My new Twitch channel will begin in the next 10-14 days, and I will have a similar format to here, except, I will be live-streaming! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make videos on lichess.org anymore, but, I may come there on occasion and play blitz and bullet! Thanks for your support! I was watching that Chigorin live (on a small screen so I couldn't make out the names) and thought wow, white is doing great, Ben must be cracking all kinds of jokes about his bad opponent. Then I watched the video and realized, oh no Ben was black.
Can you try some crazy openings and gambits and play like morphy ? try the kings gambit and evans gambit against the weaker players even if they are suspicious

Evans is actually a very solid opening and has been played in the computer chess tournaments

Hello Mr. Finegold.Thanks for the video.I am your huge fan and I want to advise with you about my problem.Days ago I was playing at a tournament-which is very important in our country- and in one of last rounds I paired with a really close friend-who has really did a lot of good things for me-. We discussed about make a draw and It wasn't that clear but she wanted to make draw but I thought It's unfair to other players so I decided to play and we played,I won. Later rounds I lost my left games and she won.So she became much more successful than I was in tourn.I congratulated her.But now she acts me weird and cold.I feel so bad.Was I wrong?What should I do? And where does the phrase "knife f5" come from?
A friend of Ben's, Greek GM Vasilios Kotronias. He'd say that because sometimes (most times? I'm not a GM, leave me alone!) if you can get your knight a home on F5 (you being white) it's a very strong and threatening spot. And C-4 is a plastic explosive ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C-4_(explosive) ), so that's a pun. No origin stories there.
