  • Check out Ben's Chessable courses here! www.chessable.com/author/BenF... I played some 3 minute today and was able to win all the games, although not without difficulty!
    Hey everyone! I have a new arrangement with chess.com, and, from now on, I will be making videos there and on Twitch! My new Twitch channel will begin in the next 10-14 days, and I will have a similar format to here, except, I will be live-streaming! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make videos on lichess.org anymore, but, I may come there on occasion and play blitz and bullet! Thanks for your support! It's possible I won't be making daily videos for the next two weeks, due to learning new stuff, but, once I am on Twitch, you can watch/play me live and I will put the streams here on my channel as well! :) --- 2-2-2018

    Ben, I gotta say, it was so adorable watching you reprimanding your opponent for not moving and I'm here staring at the screen where it says reconnecting....and I'm like waiting for you to realize 😂😂😂

      Ben Finegold You seem to use a lot of these lines many times like The truth hurts, This is still theory, never play f6 et cetera

    You get to play chess for a living guilt free. I play chess at work all day too, but I feel like a criminal. You are a lucky man.

    Caught this live on lichess this time. Had a lot of fun rooting for FrankTan/Nick in the spectators chat especially during the last game you two played. He came pretty close and one day he will get you! 18-0 are only numbers! Go FrankTan!

    Hey ben, just so you know lichess lets you know when you've disconnected from a game. @13:15 on the top right hand side of the screen it says "reconnecting" in red. Just so you know for next time :)

    • @mikeisapro
      @mikeisapro 6 років тому +2

      Yeah, I was going to say that, but after repeat viewing (always repeat) he actually saw the "reconnecting" alert and then realized that he lost connection. It does happen on lichess every once in a while.

    • @samuelh.2118
      @samuelh.2118 4 роки тому

      All Fer would have to do if Ben did Bishop A3 is move a pawn to B3. It'd be nice if it worked but it's too obvious and would make Fer's pawn structure more defensible, which Ben did not want to do.

    FrankTan needs to spend all of his time training himself to see what his opponent wants to do, hes playing blind.

    • @SFCFiz
      @SFCFiz 6 років тому

      LightProgramming so how do you train with yourself? (Amature here tryna be gud)

    • @LightProgramming
      @LightProgramming 6 років тому +1

      One way would be to do tactics puzzles with the board flipped, so your solving from your opponents perspective. Also its vital to completely stop playing 5 min chess or any speed chess, instead only play correspondence chess, 24 hours per move time control. Really sit and think over every position, take your time.

    • @SFCFiz
      @SFCFiz 6 років тому

      LightProgramming Right now I'm playing on 10 min games time control no increment and focusing on the london system opening because I've heard its gud for beginner, I always tend to play aggresive yet just like ben says in the video I've always made that sort of mistake where sometimes you're confident enough that moves was right, 3 moves later im in deep trouble. Practically , I just need to see what my oponent is doing,threatening and stuff before I make a move to avoid devious tactics . Huhuhu

    • @SFCFiz
      @SFCFiz 6 років тому +1

      Also I always do Lichess free tactics now and then .

    • @JustDeniz
      @JustDeniz 6 років тому

      tactics is like 99% of chess untill like IM GM level then its 90%.. so i prefer doing tactics puzzles on lichess and playing games RL (if you can find some people who know how to play atleast decently). and indeed lightprogramming is right. blitz and rapid are the best places to develop bad habits.
