Being an American, Spanish, Italian and American Indian back ground. I have never thought so much about the race of people until someone pointed it out to me. Children are ignorant of race. It is sad/ignorant that people still judge each others from skin colour, religion or wealth
It is but it's the American way to sort people in this way. Look at the census forms or the social security number application. From birth or entry into this country you have to pick and indentify by race...
I been considering this for a long time. I took a 3 week vacation to Brazil and 2 years later I was still there! I been toying with staying and Returned when the boarder reopened. COVID-19 Is a bigger concern in America than Brazil in my experience. I’m going to explore Florianópolis and surrounding cities before I start making final decisions
Oh so you are making the move. Congratulations! I’ll have to update you when I move to TZ. Also interested in knowing if you were able to get any drone footage when you were down there? I just got my mini and been learning how to fly.
I’m new to your channel and have been enjoying all the information you share about Brazil and your businesses. You mentioned in your video that you would like to possibly hire an expat who already speaks English to work for you in Brazil. I’m a recent widow and would love to move to Brazil. I had the opportunity to visit Rio de Janeiro this year and fell in live with it. Please let me know if you are still interested in hiring an expat.
Such a great video! Man I am so bummed I missed the live again! What time do you start the stream on Wednesdays? Im also in ET. Saving my questions for the next live stream, but this one was sooo good! I personally dont mind the questions going in chronological order even the ones that might be off topic. I can see how some people dont like to jump around or off topic, but I think its better than ignoring questions that might be off topic. I mean, I am learning Italian, want to buy property over there, want to buy my first flip, want to travel, used to fly pipers. We just called them "cubs" but that must be regional lol. So I find all of it great info
And thanks for the suggestion. I talk alot so the issue is that I can go way off topic for a long time if it's a question that I am having fun answering.
@@Karl__Pierre I can relate to that. I think when you have a passion for many things, talking about a variety of them becomes effortless and full of joy. See ya this Wed at 8!
@@Karl__Pierre Yes Sir you are right, but I still have hope. By the way, I just brought a residential home in Houston, but in a few months I will reach out to you for investment in the US. I do admirer your hard work.
So interesting how similar our life paths are. I'm planning on opening a home health care business. I'm married to a Paulistana woman and own a home in the Mooca District of Sao Paulo. I'm engaged in day and swing trading. I'm involved in rental real estate. And, I'm an instrument rated pilot! Have you been stalking me?! :) I'm inspired that you are learning Portuguese. Even though my wife is Brazilian, I still haven't learned her language. All the best in your new move.
Haha, that's the youtube Algorithm doing it's magic. Chances are you are also an ENTP personality type. Learn the Language Steve. I have to get my IFR maybe will do it this year coming. I think I will get it in my next aircraft. Regarding Home Healthcare. What state/city?
@@Karl__Pierre Well, my mother was the director of the hospice in Jackson, Michigan. Her PhD is in Gerontology, so aging and death were always on the list of topics in our home. And YES I am an ENTP as well, I think. You'll love Ubatuba. My wife's family lives on Prumirim Beach. Really breathtaking.
@@Karl__Pierre I'm gonna use my small business to build the credit and from there get into realistate. I also know that I can get some cool tips for when I go see south America
Very instering chan just subscribed and soon gonna check ur friend one, can you please check this guy channel? "Chris must list" he visited the favelas in rio and he shows very good image from their perspective... About job in Brazil i might be interested of been a salesman, im Brazilian living in Sydney Australia, and in 2021 im prolly back to Brazil. Cheers mate.
As per google "An expatriate (often shortened to expat) is a person residing in a country other than their native country. ... However, the term 'expatriate' is also used for retirees and others who have chosen to live outside their native country."
Suggestion: visit Ubatuba. It's South of Rio in the State of Sao Paulo. Unbelievable beaches, but much more quiet than Rio life.
Will do next time I am in town. Thanks for the suggestion

Awesome. Thanks for sharing. A 3 week vacation turned into a 2 year stay? Or Mentally you were there for 2 years.
I literally stayed for 2 years. Lived in a small town 2 hours north of Rio de Janeiro. Amazing place.
