Hey dude thank you. Never had one of these and I’m not 100% disabled but back on my two almost two years. I looked under the hood and got so discouraged .. I saw and said oh no! If you don’t mind may I ask ?, what about the other side. It it about the same As the other side ? … AS EASY?
So he started talking about not removing the plugs when the engine is hot, and then the video cut off. He probably wanted to mention that if you remove a spark plug from an aluminum block while it’s hot, it may never go back in again. Sage advice!
Hi I love watching your vids. What I would like to ask is this . I have a 2006 RR Supercharge with a 4.2 engine . It also runs on LPG. Now I know gas runs hotter and drier than Petrol . I have heard so many things about the Jag 4.2 engine . One that the valves are softer than the BMW engine . So the 4.2 needs a flash lube also known as valve saver kit. Now most flash lube works on a vacuum . But people tell me that I need an electronic one . With a 4 branch . Could you please please please shine some light on this problem for me. Also what System would be best for me. Please help. Roy
Hello , I have LR3 V8 4.4 I have leak in PCV valve and I tried to take out but couldn't , I removed the two screw t25 but I could not remove the pipe ?! It's look same of this pcv in this video . Can you help me please ? Thank you very much
I have a Range Rover sport supercharged 2006 with a Land Rover engine. Are the spark plugs located the same place the jag engines are? Also, with the engine light on I took it to oreallys and they hooked up there little mechanism and it said cylinder 5,6 are missfiring. Also, if I go to fast a message comes on engine performance lowered “something like that”. I ordered new spark plugs and coils. Do you think that will fix it or do you think I should replace the coolant pump? Thanks!
Yes, he’s working on a Range Rover with a 4.2l supercharged engine. It’s an engine designed by jaguar and used in their vehicles, so that’s why he calls it a ‘jaguar engine’. If you have a supercharged RR from 2006-2009, this is your engine.
@@atlanticbritishrp A lot of videos on the net are now talking about sea-foaming the engine to get rid of the carbon build up on the upper valves. Some suggest using the brake booster hose to inject the sea foam liquid or spraying it into the throttle body. I am not sure if this is necessary on the 4.2L engine or if you have a better solution for valve cleaning??
@@maintainer747 I've seen various posts about the same. Sea Foam does make your engine run hotter, so I think you may want to be a little conservative on how much you use and maybe trial and test.
Much appreciate both this and y’all’s video on rover cylinder locations. Helped a lot while working on my old Rover Sport.
You guys are the best. Going to work on my LR3 this weekend.
What a great teach. Learned a lot from this guy. Thank you
You are a star ! This has helped my husband no end! Why can't british suppliers do more of this - too protective I reckon!
Thanks a million!
This is the same for a Range Rover Sport HSE. Thanks for the vid man
You sir are what we in the UK call a Fu@k!ng legend!
Thanks for the video. What about using aluminum non-seize grease instead of spitting on the thread?
Love your knowledge
Shouldn’t the Spark plug gap be 0.39? (Per manual)
Thanks

That's a lot easier than my disco 2. Especially the coil packs
Great video 👍👍Does that spark plug gap also work for a 2008 Range Rover Sport 4.4L?
Is it the same for a 2010 rrs supercharged

Did I miss the part where you show the other four?

What if that bolt on the coil just free spins??
I wish they made a bolt on supercharger for a 4.4l jag motor..
Does this also work for the 2011 5.0 SC as well?
not sure if you’ve changed yours yet . i have a 2011 5.0 sc as well and wondering the same

You have the engine code?
Anti Seize for future??
Mine has 95k miles and recently at idle it has been surging up and down up and down especially when cold. Will this maybe help fix that?
bet you its a dirty throttle body. oil and gunk loves to collect at the butterfly valve. simple wipe down fixes a surging idle
Hi do you have a video of taking the super charger off a 2007 L320 sport?
sorry. we don't have a vi for that right now.

This company is very bad. I asked a few questions about my car and they don't care, they never answer. Bad business motto.
