Man remember the days when characters like Xeena had well-developed flawed personalities with physical and social limitations that required other characters to fill in the blanks and when they met other male characters in their own universe like Hercules or other male heroes, they treated them with respect as valued companions in their struggles since no one character was able to overcome everything by themselves? man, Im so glad those days are over and done for.

I kept forgetting they were supposed to be elves, but then I also kept forgetting the ones playing dwarves were supposed to be broad shouldered strong armed dwarves.

What I worry about as well is the fact that they made a BARD character who can't actually sing... or play an instrument. Although considering the show was 'written' by people who can't write maybe putting people in positions they can't actually do makes sense to them.

This show completely rewrites the actual lore of the Witcher series. 10/10, must watch for anyone that hates the Witcher

There's definitely a phenomenon now, with these woke superhero-ish movies, where we don't have movie stars any more.
We have Thor, Ant-Man, the Justice League, whoever all these people are, etc. We have all these forgettable characters and no movie stars.
Compare this to the nineties where you would actually get excited about a movie because, say, Edward Norton was in it. Those days are gone.
Thank God Disney and the companies perpetrating this cultural garbage upon us are taking enormous hits financially. Not to mention the Bud Light fiasco - they're down sales wise 30 percent year over year for the Dylan Mulvaney fiasco.

I have an idea that could actually save the current entertainment landscape from the pit of critical derision and public scorn that it's currently driving itself toward in double time. The producers of shows like Blood Origin hire The Woke Critic and others of his ilk to add running commentary, such as this video, to their execrable shows. The commentary can not be turned off. As a result the shows become actually entertaining for everyone. Totes win-win.

It shouldn't be that hard to write a competent female character that isn't a Mary Sue. But a good story isn't a priority, the message must always be pushed.
