Nice video. Shame about the weather. I recently bought a 2023 Red XE. Great bike. Love riding it. Only about 5000 kms so far. Looks like you’re in Brisbane as well. I do the same rides. Don’t see many 1200 XE’s around, except for 2 friends I see up Mt Glorious most weekends. The only off road I’ve done is up the Goat Track on the way to Mt Glorious a few times. Pretty gentle but enough for me for now.
Yep, Brissy based and yeah, not many of us around Brisbane by the looks of it, I just know a couple but haven't bumped into them yet. Goat track is a favourite of mine when doing a bit of a loop around mount glorious. We should catch up for a ride sometime. ATB Jason 👍
Congratulations. I only have 50 miles on my XEChrome before winter hit, so I’m tearing it apart to do my mods now. Those stock tires are very very slippery on the grass when it’s wet so they’ll have to be discarded.
A great video, mate. I am planning to either buy the same bike or to replace my GS850 Adventure with the Scrambler. I also enjoy camping. The GS with the three boxes offer huge amounts of space for the camping gear. I am a little worried whether I can carry the same gear with the Scrambler.
Glad you enjoyed the video mate. There are plenty of options for luggage on the scrambler so don't worry. I have the the triumph side pannier and on my last trip I managed to pack everything with just that, a rear top box and backpack but I've got other ideas I want to try so stay tuned! Thanks for watching. ATB Jason 👍
Bike will take 2 - 3000 klms to break in properly. The Tourance tyres are not great on road and worse off road, you wont believe the difference in the bike once you replace them.
I can imagine. I've already had my first taste of dirt roads, they didn't do terrible but I didn't have much confidence in them haha 😂. Thanks for watching mate 👍
Looks Cool, Sounds awesome, looking forward to more vids on the Scrambler. Congrats mate.
Cheers Pete. First camping trip video coming shortly 👍

Going up to Mt G cafe a bit later this morning if interested and not working. Won’t do the goat track, a bit muddy today.
@@EricMotoAdventures only free weekends unfortunately

Yeah the tyres will be the first to go once the break in period is over and I'm ready to hit the dirt. Thanks for watching mate, ATB Jason 👍
Keep em for a road trip..not everything has to be off-road
Awesome bit of kit mate, I hope its not making your DR jealous 😉 . Cheers
Nope, they sleep side by side 😁 ATB Jason 👍
