You should put two ferns into the shot, and call the talks: "Between Two Ferns". ;) Good talk. Thanks for this.

This is selling BD like a loan of attraction. Mystifying the obvious. Permaculturalists are way ahead of you, and Natural Sequence Farming a step ahead of that. Listen to how this guy talks about how to connect with nature in comparison to your biophillic guru Search a YT video called 'Rundown apartments reborn as food-forest coliving Agritopia'. It isn't about a mystic connection to pot plants.
Dezeen, why are you going into presenting the basics in a woo-woo way for? Why reduce people to believing like disciples instead of really showing solid integrated frameworks that empower people to act on this with their power, not buying it from a 'guru'? Biophilia means love of nature? What do nature lovers call themselves, then?
Stop mystifying things. Be honest in progressing. This a terrible talk. It's like selling programs we already have. Yes, we are disconnected from it, but that's because of usury currency. Get to the point. Stop faffing.

We should also consider different environment such as cities while there are mant limitations. I used to work at a coffee shop at coffee farm. For sure that is super good, but not everyone could own a large land to build an evironement like video you mention.

Such a complicated word. Why not just call it plant based design?

I don't see how it contributes to stop deforestation driven by overpopulation.

Building humans respect and highlighting humans need for the natural environment is so important. David Attenborough said in his recent documentary for humans to evolve we need to one again, be apart of nature not apart from it. We need to create a society where we provide a home for all life not just us. For me biophilia is that first step of creating that home.

Improving biodiversity is essential to our survival and nature centred design can resolve this

Biophilia is love for nature, but how you love the nature if you are still (promote) want your chair and other interior details to be wooden?! Nonsense!
