I've been investing in Bitcoin by myself. I'm not really happy with what's going on, just few weeks ago I lost about $7,000 in a particular trade. Can you help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
Berkshire owns all trading houses of Japan. Berkshire is done buying small cap, mid cap, large cap, they buy countries now. A solid buy every time whenever.
It's my hedge. I don't go all in, but I have a big portion so I don't cry too much if things crash. I will console myself with Buffet finally deploying all that cash.
✊The most important thing everyone should be thinking about right now is how to invest in different sources of income that are not dependent on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world 🌍 . It's still a good time to invest in different stocks like BTC, ETH, and others currencies. All thanks to Dennis Miller for the mentorship🚀
Matt, thanks for the great video. If you were retired, would you rather own Berkshire or VOO? Or maybe a 50/50 split of both?? Do you still prefer MKL as compared with BRK???
I am not Matt but I prefer BRK B cheap quality over an ETF. MKL has not an equity heavy use of float compared to BRK, last time I checked it, it was around 1000$ and I decided BRK B was insanely more interesting so MKL now is just super expensive and I am not interested in it.
They could buy TD Bank in Canada, it is undervalued and somewhat broken but fixable, only 100 billions maybe. I am young but sometimes I wonder why they are waiting so much, I see value everywhere but I don't have the toolkit of BRK B to overtake and change course of a business.
do you think BRK.B is better than Vanguard Value Index fund (VTV) that pays a dividend of 2.18% or SCHD that pays a 3.31% dividend or JEPI that uses options to leverage the market and pays 6.98% dividend if the overall market may falter
As long BRK B doesn't do MSTR move of buying all Bitcoin it can whatever the price, on leverage as much as possible at every split second, It will be fine.
Perhaps the reason why the market is valuing the operating companies at 12X earnings is because they're not growing that much. Railroads, electric utilities, insurers...not exactly the fastest growing industries out there.
Yes but when you look how UNP CP rail CN rail are priced. They look expensive yet people buy the stocks. Insurance Progressive Allstate have low book value and are super expensive always trending up while Geico is said to not grow much. All things in, I get more for my dollar in Berkshire than in a lot of other investments including the value stuff. For last 2 weeks, no growth Apple touched all time highs while BRK dropped, altho about 10% of BRK B market cap is invested in Apple stocks. Makes no sense so I buy more BRK cheaperly since its cash, businesses and Apple stocks get downgraded in value by the market behavior.
Pays no dividend. The only use of stocks is cash flow. There is no reasonsble prospect they start paying regular dividend.. replying on other investors bidding up price is foolish.. If it was a good buy you would have to sell to make money..
I'm favoured $40k every 6 weeks! I now have a good house and can afford anything and also support my family
How please

She's my family personal Broker and also a Broker to many families here in the United states, she is a licensed Broker.
😱Sounds familiar, I have heard her names on several occasions.. And both her success stories on wall street journey!
Don't need to overthink this one. Just buy and hold and forget about it.
Yup, there's $300b ready to be deployed after Trumps 2025 financial crash.

Massive cash is to buy businesses when there is a sale

1/3 of Berkshire's value is held in cash, this is ready for next years downturn when Buffet will feast.
