In previous games, the main character was always all-rounder. In stealth, combat, parkour and all... I like that in this, naoe is more stealth focused character while yasuke is more combat focused character showing none of them are pure overpowered characters.
@@killeromin9603 I agree, they could've just made it in such a way that yasuke is not a samurai, but he worked under them with similar outfits and all. So, it would be like an unofficial samurai warrior, and no one would have any objection.
Or spiteful of him, not everyone accepts Nobunaga at the time nor did they respect foreigners. That's why Anjin/Blackthorne/Adams get disrespected so hard by the Japanese society and mocked him as simply the barbarian.
It’s insane how similar this looks to ghost of tsushima, I understand it’s the same era and it can’t be that different, but everything, from the fighting, to the movement, to the map and hud is the same. I’m not complaining though, if it’s anything like Ghost is will be fun.
Meh, Ghost of Tsushima's events are around Mongolian invasion into Japan, while Shadows is in Sengoku-jidai, which is somewhere close to 17th Century (1600).
I think i may have been harsh in my 1st impression of this game. It actually doesnt look bad. If it's a work in progress, then hopefully the finished product will be decent.
Ik people really dont like shadows much given the controversy but tbh i freaking love what were seeing. Will the game be for everyone? Unlikely. Will it be fun? Probably.
I prefer stealth, so I'll be playing most of the game as Naoe. Though I admit my stealth skills have rusted with time, and also in part due to the past three main games placing stealth on the backburner.
This game is trying so hard to be ghost of tsushima, everything down to the HUD, the buildings, the moving thru grass stealthily and even the enemy attack indicator its all copied from ghost of tsushima

Wow it looks even worse than odyssey! Bad acting, awful gameplay, historical inaccuracies and ugly model's! Yet again, ubi$oft never fails to disappoint!

I love how the NPC bows down to Yasuke. Though it would be nice to add some details like NPCs intrigued by Yasuke.
