This car is gorgeous
The M340i doesn’t get enough credit. The performance is so impressive considering it’s an “M-lite” and not the “full fat M”. The best all rounder and still seriously impressive. It looks amazing in the tourer as well. A real sleeper.
If it didn't have the M before the numbers it wouldn't get compared to the M3. Compared to every other model, this thing is a fkin beast
"full FAT M" seems to have different connotations these days 🤣. Agree though the M340i is seriously impressive
3.7 to 100 is crazy in just a stage 1 m340i.. considering the new m5 needs 3.6s with double the hp

@@vytautasminalga3905 0-130? Where are you standing still with 0kmh and then driving Till 130kmh? Trough the city? Maybe pulls from 80-130kmh or something like that are more for daily driving, but zero to 100 is something a golf 8 r can achieve in 3,5s with a good stage 1 tune.

My Alpina has a lip above the windscreen to change the airstream because of the high topspeed in combination with the panoramic roof. How does that work with the restriction 250 kph removed here?
The B58 probably sounds better because of the longer connecting rods

I bought one with the optional M seats (same as in the M3/X3M), car is oxidized grey with shadow line laser headlights. Almost full option, I'm missing the gesture control but I think that's more a novelty then a must have.
8:38 come to the UK and people over there drive in the right lane (right lane being fast lane in UK) and they stay their even when their are huge gaps for them to move over.
Same as South Africa, too much arrogance.
And it seems to be getting worse. I witnessed a driver last week, join the motorway and immediately pulled into the middle lane and sat at 65mph. The driving quality in the UK has dropped in recent years. Such a frustrating place to drive now.

From 12 2020. Till 11 2020 you only had the six cylinder, no Mild Hybrid.

The 340’s are a great car, but where the M3 makes more sense is if you need 1 car to do everything.
With the 340 you’d need something else for your fun or interaction as they lack that compared to the M3

This is a car that in this segment does NOT have any true rivals...it is a complete car with the best engine 💪
C43 is a four banger and too heavy
S4 is less sport drive too much fwd biased
Others are either FWD or not enough power....if someone mentiones Giulia it lacks that version between Velice 4banger and full fat QV but that car is less premium
