You’re likely gonna damage a very expensive lithium tool battery. Most adapters are gimmicks- they “work” but they lack the specific communication with the tool to prevent battery and tool damage. Makita has protection built into the battery most other tool brands it’s on the tool itself.
People that say this nonsense do NOT UNDERSTAND HOW BATTERIES AND TOOLS WORK!!! Power tools have a protection on the battery, this is standard practice for any and all manufactured battery packs to prevent thermal runaway of lipos. A tool operates off of and only monitors voltage!! More voltage = more power, less voltage = less power. IF a tool has any sorta monitor it will cut off at a set voltage, but most tools do not care what it is fed as along as it is within its rated spec it will keep going. Using the dewalt batteries with any adapter for any tool will be just fine, and the battery itself will stop it from going too low. If the battery has dropped below the dewalt charger specs you can simply jump start the battery with another one by going + to + and - to - for about 30sec to bring the voltage back up and the battery will start charging again.

@@dustinowens the problem with the adaptor you use in the video doesn’t give you full power on the Dyson
@@M.E63 I don't have that problem, I don't believe.
I literally can’t get the battery out after taking screw out wtf
Yeah that's the only way to remove the Dyson battery
I got it lol ty
@@dustinowens
There's 3 screws altogether on V7. The other two found underneath battery near the dust container.
@andysouidhou9710 appreciate it buddy
I would 100% get that if it hand a built in low voltage cutoff but I only saw two posts so that looks risky
Mine cuts off before it completely dies but I'm using a newer dewalt battery maybe that's the difference
Makita's ⭐ 18v batteries have protection. It's been that way for many years.
You’re likely gonna damage a very expensive lithium tool battery. Most adapters are gimmicks- they “work” but they lack the specific communication with the tool to prevent battery and tool damage. Makita has protection built into the battery most other tool brands it’s on the tool itself.
I've been using it for about a year or more pretty much everyday and no issues.
@@dustinowenshow long does this dewalt battery last for vacuuming?
It depends on the battery AH Mine is a good hour plus and I use the 2 ah battery since it's a lot lighter
Where can I buy that adapter?
amzn.to/41eMSuz there ya go!
Would this adapter work on a V6?
Here's version 6 amzn.to/3r0gzlP
Mr. Dyson is not very happy about this video lol
Well he can take his British butt on down the road. 😂
Would've been better if they created an adapter which you could plug on the wall.
Voltage probably wouldn't work but maybe? 🤷
@@dustinowens I'm confident they can sort through the electronics. Similar dummy batteries have been available for mirrorless cameras for a long time.
@@27hdyx6b3ym3w agreed just not going to be me.
Did you do something bad to your barber??
Paid them?! That's about it
GTFO dude seriously?? Damn! Going to order me one now!! Subscribed to your channel you're awesome dude!
It works great!
"Matthew Perry shares Dyson tip."
Never got that one
Just buy the dewalt or the Milwaukee vacuums.
Do they have handheld vacuums
omg what happened to the top of your dyson 😭
Out of all the views no one has mentioned this. 🤣🤣 I might of accidentally melted it a being too close to a heat gun..
Opps commented on with the business account before. 🫨
@@mantlerealtylol, I thought something like that happened. I kept looking at the damage wondering “does my Dyson have that”
