Us tooooo!! It’s so nice and not too crowded and I honestly want to go back to try all the coffeeshops 😅 let me know if there’s anywhere you went you’d recommend for when we go next time!
@@2travel_bugs There's a restaurant called the "?" near the St. Michael church. It is the oldest restaurant in Serbia and the prices are totally affordable and the food is good.
@@2travel_bugs The Orthodox Cathedral called St. Sava was gorgeous and peaceful. Visit the national museum and the oldest restaurant in Serbia called "?" which is by the St. Michael's church.
That was my FAVORITE clip… had to do the slow motion for it 😂😂😂 so glad you caught it! 🤣 and we absolutely loved Belgrade! So cool you lived there! Feels like such a hearty city ❤
@2travel_bugs Actually I think he's one if those Roma musicians with trumpets in Santa costumes, they always smoke 😃 All of them are with cigars. I love their music. Yes I was born and grew up in Belgrade, my place is still there near Skadarlija. The atmosphere in Belgrade's pedestrian zone/city centre is always great, day or evening. People are friendly, English speaking, nice bookstores, street musicians as you could see. How did you get the idea to come to Belgrade around Christmas (which was on 7th of January there and New Year will be celebrated again on 13th of January, therefore the decorations and celebrating is still on)? Hopefully you'll have oportunity to explore more of Serbia and surrounding countries (Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Macedonia - a lot to see).
@@egyptianhibiscus9203ahh that makes sense! I’ve seen Roma musicians there last time we went and agree the music is lovely! We actually both have Slavic ancestry in our family so we love visiting Slavic countries and knew Serbia would have a longer Christmas market experience since the new year and Christmas days are different! Slovenia is another favorite of ours for sure… we have on our list to visit Macedonia! Would love any recs on what to do if you have them there!!
Café and restaurant "Maska" (The Mask) is one of my favorite places in Belgrade. Glad you showed it. I've seen many YT videos and nobody discovered that place. Alsp, very few people show the Nevsky church.
@@AlexM-t6h wow thank you for watching and letting me know!! Makes us happy ☺️☺️☺️ I truly feel like if I lived there, I’d go to Cafe Maska every day 🤣
