- Hello & welcome to a new episode, In this week's episode we go and film our good friend Chancey's car collection, what a collection indeed, Nothing overly special ( DON'T TELL HIM THAT ) Haha but for me it was the mk3 Astras, One car worth a mention was a mk3 astra saab turbo conversion which we did a will it start on, sounded a tad rough but noting a little tune up wouldn't fix, Anyway hope you enjoy this episode,

Brilliant find.. my mate paid £200 for a k reg Astra 1.7D estate, with 130,000 miles, back in 2008. It was an MOT failure. £150 on welding the sills and it was road worthy again. He scraped it in 2014 with 270,000 on it💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

I'm a big lover of that era Vauxhall cars, my dad had a small business doing dealer exchanges for a local Vauxhall dealership and I got to do some driving for him and I drove all different types including the cavalier 4x4 turbo and a calibra 4x4 turbo,brilliant car's and surprisingly fast.

Got to love the Mk3 Astra so much more reliable than the ones post 2000 , if it wasnt for rust a lot of them would never have ended up in the scrap yards

Love it , I'm a vauxhall fanboy so good video 😊 the z18xe vauxhall engines are in the saab then some Vauxhall fans put the saab b204 in the astras , ive got a mk4 z20let coupe nearly bought a soft top but always prefered the hardtop cupe , also have a mk4 astra sri hatch

I owned a mk2 astra and remember the mk2 van . I even remember the mk1 astras beingnon the road.
But when the mk3 came out they had a solid futuristic look to them .

I used to have a mk3 astra 1.6 si in red. Never see them now. I'd drive everywhere spinning the wheels in 1st and second gear.

Wow I remeber chanceys old red mk3 van I think he used to have a v6 motor fitted in that and race it down york drag strip years ago..
Everyone I knew on mk3 owners club knew this van and a few of us myself included wanted to own that red van..
I thought it’d be long gone by now so nice to see it’s still around😎
It’s a gd van built from a standard van when I was 18 and sold it and bought it bk 12 years later only had a 1.7td when I owned it before but will soon be Saab turbo
Am sorry £300 for a classic Astra with stupid low mileage. What a steal. Am with you, my first car was an E plate white nova in 1996. Loved that car, until I parked it on a hill and some bugger with a doggy handbreak parked behind me (not in gear) and pushed it into a lamppost!
Can't believe that Astra was going to be scrapped thats well clean man is Vauxhall crazy the van doesn't look to bad never knew they did a petrol one? I would put the on Saab turbo in the one of the Vans the man's Astra mad 😂🤣 but fair play to him but got alot of projects to do good of him to let you look round hes yard stu have a good christmas mate ⛄🥳🍻
