She also doesn’t mention that the butter can shatter, I’ve noticed a ton of people having that problem.

I’ve watched your video so many times - I just find your voice so relaxing. I’ve been baking croissants since last November (still searching for that open crumb), and yours came out AMAZING! I’m really enjoying your channel. Just wanted to say hi from Sourh Georgia!

Love this! Can these be made with a sourdough starter instead?

Thank you! 🧡They turned out so yummy! So glad I tried them and I believe that you can! But I would look up how much to substitute just to make sure you get the right dough consistency.🥰

Omg I been doing it but at the end I have a pool of butter, I am using salted butter because the first recipe I found say so but really the first recipe said salted butter and I didn’t with unsalted and I didn’t like the flavour I feel it need more salt.

Yes! You can use salted as I did here too, you just need to handle the dough with more care due to that lower melting point. It can be a lot easier to soften it than unsalted, but I TOTALLY agree, I put salted in basically everything.😩 adds better flavor! So potentially you may just over handled your dough or you may just not have had your dough and butter at the right temp. Claire notes in her recipe that the dough needs to be colder than the butter when doing your rolling. Hope that helps with your next go at it! Her walk through video helped me immensely!☺️
