2Fort and all the other maps have been taken over by bots, and some cant talk due to recent updates... I've wandered into a community server and its pretty nice. Of course I'll be waiting here till this blows over.

@@bill-zc1wi its decreased by a large amount compared to a few months ago, i'd say it'll be gone or taken care of by valve before the end of the year, some hackers have even said it'll probably end the same way lmaobox did a few years ago

Inaccurate, they're not wearing the skull island topper combined with the frontline field recorder.
It depends on who's running the bots, I remember meeting a pack with matching leg warmers (and other cosmetics, I only remember the leg warmers specifically), each had a different colour all their cosmetics were painted in.
I remember meeting a guy with fucking strange weapons and cosmetics
When you remember they've made it so that bots don't shoot bots
It is pretty funny wenever you see them all standing on the same point in the game mode control point if that happens expect no one to win..
If i could, i would make a cathook fork that make so they ONLY target other bot

But that actually means that the Asshole Hosters are either corperating or the Script is online somewhere, meaning it would be really easy to integrate the "Don't shoot Me" part of it.
@@DrRittersteinnot all do this. Some hosters can just set them to kill the bots. They just don't see a reason to.

Nah, dont worry, I rarely get full servers of bots anymore
Just queue for often picked maps and the bots will be kicked pretty quickly
@@kirbyfreakyt4695 I don't know what life you are living in but the life that I'm living in almost the entire teams are filled with Bots four up to five players.
Bot snipers or bot tomislav heavies.
@@austinteal3645 those servers are not FULL servers of bots, they just happen to have almost half the team being bots.

Some people try to Kick the bots but more keep showing up oof
I believe that valve is getting rid of certain not strains untill they can get ride of the bots entirely.
I used to go engineer when there weren't too many sniper bots on the other team and angled my dispenser and sentry so they couldn't hit me. Wrangled them to death until they all disconnected after several tries. Made me believe that there's some idiot monitoring the bots.

There’s a console that will relay everything being said/done in game to the host

It's probably a script that watches their K/D and disconnects if it's too low
The problem I have with this strategy is that the enemy team doesn't realize they have a bot and destroy my sentry. But if they did knew they would have likely kicked the bot anyway.

Here's short story: I came back to TF2, I began to play sniper. A week or two later, the bots came along which basically ment that if I play sniper, I'll get kicked.
I really want to play it, but the bots just ruins it for me (and everyone who has watched this video lol).
well the bots all just use stock and mostly use don’t use cosmetics or a swarm that use a spsific cosmetic, so you could just change weapons from stock or if you have wear cosmetics depending on the bots
@@amustsheen6973 True, but some people don't care about that. They'll vote kick the second you get three headshots in a row. No matter how many shots you mised in between.
@@kristianfrederichsen9005 if the team really voted you off like that you should have probably rematched anyway,most of the time they know not too and if you can chat it’s less likely you’ll get voted off
Several answers
Speak in chat
Dont use stock/Hitman's heatmaker, cozy camper, stock kukiri as a set, walking around while scoped
Dont look up while scoped
Use microphone, I guess and use your actual voice to let your team know you arent a bot, but don't use it to SPECIFICALLY let them know you arent a bot. Perhaps warn your team over mic
Use huntsman for a bit
Don't stand in the normal sniper spots (So on 2fort, try going to lobby rather than battlements, or on badwater stay behind the rocks and try to cap, or later in that map go to the other side near the stairs)
Use Jarate Bushwacka, at least for a bit (bots dont need to do this because they can just crit hack a stock melee to always crit)
And the biggest one:
Get a few points as a class OTHER than sniper, engineer, scoot, or heavy
(So just go soldier or demo or pyro). If you weren't playing as anything hackable before, you probably arent hacking AFTER you change classes.
I play sniper but never get kicked for it.

To those who don't know how to deal with bots, here are some solutions-
-If there's alot of bots, being a vaccinator medic will help with bullet resistance. When being a vaccinator medic, heal snipers(That aren't bots), soldiers, and maybe heavys.
-when playing as heavy, have either a medic overheal you, or eat a dalokohs bar(or fish cakes). And use the fists of steel as well. Some bots can use melee weapons, so be careful.
-Some bots can steal your name, so if a bot stole your name, vote him as soon as possible, so your team doesn't vote the wrong person.
-when voting a bot that stole someone elses name, check their pfp, or the class there playing as. 9/10, the bots are snipers.

would like to add to this even now since most of the bots have stopped functioning,
engi- wrangler and jag and either frontier justice or rescue ranger
soldier- direct hit (can one shot them )or stock (attacking before they peak corners) alongside with equalizer (last resort) and battalions backup (counters headshots and most other kinds of bots)
demo- scottish resistance (makes sure you dont detonate all your stickies plus sticky spam wont work on bots) , caber (last resort, youll prob only get one hit on them anyway so make it explosive), and lock n load (kill bot faster)
-medic overdose (get out of bots l.o.s faster) or crusadors crossbow (heal teammates faster), vaccinator (anti headshot) or stock (if team incompetent, or you need to push out of spawn), for melee solemn vow (check bots health and know which to target first), or ubersaw( If feeling ballsy and last resort for uber).
spy : ineffective unless theres enemy vac medic pocketing bots, use enforcer and dead ringer, knife does not matter
scout: ineffective
pyro: scorch shot (if you want to violate the Geneva convention on bots), or detonator (if you hate using scorch and want better mobility), any melee but powerjack as it leaves you vulnerable to a instant kill, and either the phlog or back burner
All this is good advice.
The one time I had to face an all bot team that voted out their human players, we defended with sentries behind corners, and attacked with an army of vaxx medics, a heavy, and a soldier.

There are also bots as other classes, but they are very rare in comparison to snipers.

what is really painful is the fact that this is still happening, but the bots are using our names.

Now they are copying pictures too, so now when u start vote, its fifty-fifty chance of getting right
You can see the class icon by their names, and they can join the opposite team, so name and the pfp steals aren’t very effective now

Snipers can be thrown off super easy if you're unpredictable

There was a time where I was the only human in an entire server of heavy bots.
Ah, the f*cking sniper bots. One day, I joined not once, nor twice, nor even three times, but FOUR times in a ROW on servers that were infested with those pesky bots.
It's annoying that the bot problem has remained the same for three years.
The crisis has been there for 3 years, from 2021 and now Valve still sitting on the admin chair and see the players crying about bots.
This is one of the best SFMs I've ever had the pleasure of watching.
Came back to TF2 after many years and this is the state of it now :/

Dude I found a server full of bots and it was the funniest thing, I was immediately kicked but it was the funniest thing ever because they don’t know, in that case they’re filling up certain servers and being stuck there thinking they’re doing good.

I never thought I'd see a model of a RED Sniper bot, but here I am I guess.
Best strategy in this situation is get demomans close enough to charge.
So send engineers into the tunnel, made nest with teleports, and demomans will do the job.
