I never heard or saw a comment by Beefheart on the Church of the SubGenius but Zappa makes a comment in his autobiography on p.234 wherein he says the "theology" of the Church of the SubGenius parallels his.
Somebody (4:3 Land) claims I said I was "Paul Buff" on this video. I would never claim that. If I did, it was a joke uttered in the" heat" of whatever I say on this vid. I will listen to it again to see if your misheard me or I actually said it.
Yeah, the manager LIED - I just found out that Sue Vliet didn't die until 2007 and this vid happened on Aug.6, 1996!! So that means we did talk to Sue, and she DID remember me talking to Don and Frank - both 17 years old - about the UFO mystery in the Mojave Desert in 1958.
Are the pavilions that are nearly perpendicular to the tangent that are meaningful? Or is the reason that we are truly here is merely just juxtapositioning? Ordinarily from somewhere other than that that is not so easily to be reckoned with? Or have we already just realized that no permanent contract director who has ever specialized in anything… has reasonably decided to have gone out and slightly over to someplace else to forsakingly lose his or her minds. And still remain a retroactively sub standardization? Is what I mean to be asking. For someone over at 7-11. Those Baskin Robbin’s fools have gotten someone all wound up in the parking lot over there and it seems there is no other way out, so could you please… come go on over and tell they guy to shut up before he’s proceeds to goon someone else out!
