Climbing on a Moonboard is one of the best ways to become a stronger climber and you can train on it from your home. The new Mini Moonboard is smaller than the original and it can fit inside almost any room in your house. The only problem is that climbing on the Moon board is hard and you better be ready. Moonboard benchmarks in particular can be very sandbagged. In today's video I visit my friend Jon's garage and he shows me how to moonboard. We also talk to Jon about the new Kilter Board he is installing and how it compares to the Moonboard.

Lol my buddy set O-Dub. The Mini is definitely interesting, and yeah, hard for the grade for sure. I was so psyched when I sent Traditional Honey V4 on the Mini the other day. Just as hard as a lot of 6/7's on the 2016.
Nice board. I broke two ankles at once landing on a rock. Get that come back, happy holidays.
Train hard during the week and massive cheat days on weekend = send everything!

Lol I accidentally made my mini 45 degrees. V5 is V7 forsure. And there are several 6Bs that I have not sent because they are so heinous.

And I've never tried the normal board lol. Would be nice if it felt easier cuz this mini board is savage.
@@GiantRock the regular is still pretty brutal but there are several benchmark V3s that are "chill"

@@GiantRock I will!! I had made a little 8x8 wall of my own and tried to emulate a training board with hold density, but the app really makes it fun
Yeah dude it just came out and it is a lot of fun for just an 8x8 climbing area!
I'm big fan of normal moonboard but the mini-moonboard looks incredibly boring to climb on. Every single climb is just a sit start and that's it.
I hear ya on that and thought the same but honestly it's still really fun and certainly better than no moon board.
so sad
