How is the knee cap? I have Cell 3.0 and knee caps are nice and secured. Was wandering if I upgrade to carbon model should I be concerned about those flimsy looking caps? They seems out of control lol I mean... if you hit a sharp rock on the side of a knee? wouldnt it move by impact?
How’s the actual knee impact protection??? I’m currently only using soft knee pads but my knees get banged to hell on single track hitting trees still... do these have better impact protection?
@@Slimm2240 At 58 seconds he states medium, but yeah look at the size chart and measure your circumference. I just picked these up in medium. I’m 6’ and 170lbs. I’m between a large and medium but decided to go with a medium just like my last pair of asterisk cell’s. These seem to run a slight smidge tighter than the previous asterisk cells that I had. I thought about sending them back for a large but decided it might not be a thing to have them tighter on my knee.
I guess you can wear them whenever you like but pretty sure they are for outside so it doesn’t snag pants. Most wear Moto socks underneath so socks would be redundant. Braces generally come with socks that are for over, not under braces.
I have a set. There awesome don’t notice they are there I use them for snowboarding also
Hello!! did you check the pods k8? to know if you prefer these.
No. I didn’t.

Never been an issue. Wouldn’t want them exposed without pants but I like how they move around within the pant and sock/sleeve that comes with it.
Any additional thoughts or insights now that you've had them for awhile? How are they holding up?
Excellent. They have prevented several major injuries. Probably wouldn’t be riding any more if it wasn’t for them. I won’t ride without them. A+
@@BigIronMoto Appreciate your response and for posting the original video. Very helpful!
I ordered a set last week
You won’t be disappointed. They are fantastic.

I have smacked my knee many times over and quite hard, it has been excellent.
What is the measurement of your thigh where the top strap is? My knees measure a medium but my thighs look bigger then yours and they look snug on you
No idea. Use measuring guide on site.
What do you think of the braces after riding with them?
Excellent. Still love them a year later.
If the patela floats , what happens to it when you crash ? Would not fly away ?
No, they are held on with webbing that allows them to float but keeps them secured.
What does it look like without the knee cup to use for other sports
It doesn’t come off.
What is the measurement of your knee? Are the measure... greetings from Mexico

@@BigIronMotoit’s not there
Which size are you wearing in this vid
Medium. But, just make sure you measure the circumference of your knee. Use the sizing chart.
@@BigIronMoto thanks

those sock are for wear on inside not outside!:)
