Have the mobius braces. They are a good solid brace. They can get a little hot in summer, but I think any brace would. Have had to put a set of straps/cable and padding on them but it was very affordable for spare parts.
I wore Mobius for a while and they are solid, but the knee cap design grabbed my pants like you described and drove me nuts. I loved the cable system but if it gets gritty it can bind up a bit. They also have no ventilation. I'm currently wearing the Asterisk Ultra Cell with the boa system but it's so bulky. Really excited to try the Carbon Cell, looks like they have really streamlined the design. Paired with a Pod knee sleeve to keep the Velcro from catching and it may be my favorite so far.
Love the comfort of the mobius they look huge but when on done feel huge however it’s my first set of knee braces and maybe this is how they all are. But im struggling with the way it effects gripping the bike with my knees. It feels like it puts pressure to far forward on my knee witch when I squeeze make my legs want to open up and point my toes out more then I like too. Im interested in the astricks if that issue is better? Any advice would be appreciated
It might just take some time to get used to them. I've ridden in both and don't recall the Mobius being too much different as for bike feel than the my carbon cell 1. - Chase
@chase I would really like to buy and try the Asterisk cc1 size small as new braces but man that Canadian shoppers have so many disadvantages on their ends. First It does get very expensive for us in 🇨🇦; you add the exchange of currency + Shipping + Tax it brings the total to 942$us so 1230$cad Second, unfortunately RM do not refund shipping for returning goods from Canada. So if you worry about the fitting on your knees you still have to pay the shipping cost.to get them back to RM so add other 60$us. Asterisk cc1 are not available on Canada so you can buy only from RM 749$US or Asterisk(@799$) Cost difference on Mobius x8 vs Asterisk cc1 on RM is 150$US. A Mobius X8 can be bought in Canada at 828$cad(tax included) so there's a 400$cad difference. That's basically half the price of a Mobius x8 and more than double the price list difference of the items on RM(150$us) RM is a very very good cie and hopefully one day they could do better for us Canadien shoppers. 1. They could lower the shipping cost, how comes to order mobius x8 from them is 55$usFedEx Priority but only 22$cad Fedex Priority from a smaller company based in UK dirtbike bitz ? (43$US difference) 2. They should include one return per item shipping free. I know this one can be costly a bit but I'm sure their business would increase a lot. 3.they should put their price list in CAD dollar. It kinda sucks for us when you get the total like 928$US you have to Google it to know the price in cad then you get 1150$cad but when paypal does the conversion once the transaction has come thru it gets to 1199$Cad so add a 50$CAD of surprise... 4. Request for every customer in general. RM should included an option on their online order to cancel directly their order while processing. If you look at a competitor like fortnine.com they have that option and it's priceless. No worry you don't have to contact the sales 5. The refund; the process does takes several business days to come in the consumer pocket. add the refund straigh away in the customer pocket. Again cancel an order like fortnine and get the refund straight away on your card. Other than that I think the website and cie is very top notch. I still like to shop with then with some items cause they have large inventory. I also have to mention the fact that they do include the tax for importation so I have no surprise when it gets home! They also have a great spokesman!! Yep that all I have to say!! Thanks 😊

Let us know how you like the Carbon Cell. I'm on my second set and I've really enjoyed mine. - Chase
I'm changing mine. I'll try Mobius cause I need something that don't move while I'm riding. It looks like more stable, protecting more the knee
Thinking of asterisk mobius ones are pretty bulky.

@@rmatvmc thanks for the response Chase I appreciate it. I’ll give them some more time
If only I had these a couple of years back 🥺 my knee would be this bad
thank you for this quality review
8:35 that looks like 2 pivots...
Mobius look like a Ford, Carbon Cells look like a Ferrari.
$835 for the carbon cell 1 damn
