Studio Host: “Ah yes, there was a conflict of scheduling between the NSW and Victorian live update conference but that’s been sorted. And now, let’s go live to South Australia for their updates.”

It probably won't go past 7 day if people do the right thing and don't be an idiot and do the wrong things, such as partying, crossing borders and come back, not wearing masks, not covering your nose when wearing a mask, non Victorians enter Victoria blame the other states for that.

Lived in Japan close to 5 years, and then later worked for the QLD government on a lot of projects with Japan. "Subarachi" and "gorman" might have made me wee myself a little bit laughing, definitely gave me a 'Nam style flashback to a few awkward event speeches. 🤣🤣🤣 It hurt so good.👍
What do they mean?
@@frolickinglions Subarachi is a mangled mispronunciation of 'subarashii' which means like 'great, amazing, wow'. Gorman is a mispronunciation of gomen, which means sorry. They're just kinda generic words you hear a lot while out and about in Japan and I've heard many a politician or bureaucrat murder them trying to give speeches in Japanese when they only have a phonetic copy of the speech available 'cause they don't speak Japanese. 🤣 His bastardisation is A+.

I had to find out we were going into lockdown from some random person I ran into while I was out seeing pts. I wish it meant I got to stay home for a week, I’m an on road test nurse, just means more pts on my list and more work. At least it might cut down my travel time with less traffic on the road
