Fei made a video about acne tips (17 acne hacks) so I am pretty sure she knows how to treat her acne. Beside this, I would not try this sponge since I don't think it apply nor give a flawless finish. I will stick with the beauty blender! And 10$?? Oh guuuuurl that's expensive for what it is! Even a dupe beauty blender is probably much better! I think this is sponge is more for a person that doesn't have that much of acne problem. Probably I would stick with my beauty blender too xD I just saw a review of this sponge from a guy that has a really smooth skin, and it worked pretty well! So maybe it's because of the oily skin and the acne :c

bts gave me life and ended me at the same time , it's great. oh since you don't wear make up have you tried washing your face with an oil free face wash, then applying a moistorizer after? that helps with me , I have a combo of dry and oily skin along with it being sensitive as anything, also trying to drink more water sometimes helps as well :) if you want to try make up, i'd suggest try using a bb cream instead of a foundation it helps covers the acne a little more , blending is a little more easier and it doesn't make my face more acne prone than it already is. sorry for any unwanted advice ^^.
the silicon thing was made so people don't use as much product that a beauty blender would suck up xD I think it would work best with people without acne tho so that's a huge bummer :(

you can mix baking soda and water and you can apply it on your face for 7 days and apply it in the morning and at night. it helps to eliminate acne and it also helps blackheads.
umm NO. each person's skin is different and the "advice" i get from people is what actually caused my acne to INCREASE. "try this mixture" "try this face wash" JUST STOP. let us go to a SPECIALIST. you aren't one and you most likely will make it worse.

Omg when used the sponge that way my first time I hated it soo much too. For a few months now I have been using the silicone sponge as an applicator. I have combination skin and I also have acne. On the spots I have acne, first I use the kevyn aucoin the sensual skin enhancer. Then I would dot some foundation on the areas I have acne. I then use the silicone sponge to apply and spread out the rest of my foundation on my face leaving the foundation on the acne areas a bit more concentrated. This way prevent me from over applying. After spreading out my foundation with the silicone sponge I blend out my foundation with my beauty blender. In the last few months of me using this sponge as an applicator it has saved me soo much foundation. I now only use a quarter size of my estee lauder double wear foundation for my entire face. It amazes me each time as I do not have the best skin. Since the silicone sponge doesn't soak up foundation like the beauty blender It is not a hassle to clean. I can literally just take a makeup wipe and clean it off. Now when I wash my beauty blender it takes half the time I used to do because there's not much product on there compared to when I only used my beauty blender. It's one more step to add to your makeup routine and I understand that most people would rather just use one thing to apply their foundation but personally I have gotten more fond of this sponge as it forces me to use less product and prevents my beauty blender from eating up my foundation.

I was going to purchase it, but to me all it does is smear around the foundation, not making the skin one with it, but just sitting on top of it ! Thank you but for me .. the old makeup sponges that you can tear and really blot the foundation into the skin is the best ! great video ! enjoyed it !
So, I watched this review and decided to try it on my face as I have dry skin with few breakouts. It still slides around and gives aweful application for foundation. However! I found it is a great way to apply moisturizer, as you don't need as much (cause it doesn't absorb into your hands) and you have less of your hand contaminants get on your skin. Just thought I'd share.
just a little tip to make it work properly : spread with small circles on your skin, working your product outwards until it has been distributed evenly, this helps to warm up the foundation,then dab outward toward the edges or your face until all has been blended, I know it sounds like a lot of work but hey, from an acne prone person,this save my skin and my make up ;) love u
Primer would definitely change something. I think I agree with you about acne prone skin and probably not going with this. My face is a normal to dry skin type, so I'm not opposed to trying this lol
Try putting the foundation on the silicone then apply to your face then taking the silicone and smear it all over your face. Then dab it in. That seems to work the best for other people💓💓

In other reviews they put the foundation on the sponge, smeared it, and then blended it in. It worked well for them. I don't know if it is because of the acne or "technique"... thanks for your review though.
I saw an ad for this and it wasn't for acne. It was for being able to get use out of all of the product you put on the applicator instead of having it absorbed like a beauty blender does
Hey, I just thought I could help you a little.. when putting your foundation on don't put the applicator right on your face. The bacteria from the acne will transfer onto your applicator and go right into your foundation bottle which spreads breakouts. Just thought I'd help ya out. Love your videos!💜
I never used the Silicone Sponge, but I do have that same foundation and that foundation works best when its buffed in with a brush. I tried with a beauty blender and it doesn't look so nice because the foundation is very concentrated pigment and it dries too fast. I'm assuming that may be why it's not looking so great, but most people who reviewed the Silicone Sponge found it meh.

You're suppose to slide all you foundation with it like as if you were using your fingers and then dab it. Cause it's suppose to help use less foundation and a more natural skin look. And u can also use a beauty blender afterwards to finish it off.
have you ever tried acnefree from walmart or target? the 3 step system worked really well with my acne (i used to have a lot on my forehead). now it's no longer as bad so all i use is the cleanser, and my favorite toner and moisturizer. the main ingredient i believe is benzoyl peroxide, which works better on my skin rather than salacylic acid.
Fei you're so funny lol! I've heard mixed reviews about the silisponge but I sint think that product is for me either. I use the real techniques beauty sponge(the original) and it works wonders! I think the silisponge is more like a gimik than a revolutionary beauty product lol. And gurrrl you're eye makeup has been on fleek these past videos!
I notice that people with more clear skin have better results with the silicone sponge as oppose to people with problematic skin. I tried it and it work perfectly fine on me-actually great. So idk that may be it...

I'm acne prone and I have a pierced nose and it took a while to blend anything. I don't hate the silisponge but I'm not in love. My pores around my nose were kinda visible(although they regularly are, maybe I suck at applying foundation) and it did suck at covering a giant zit on my cheek but on the smooth areas it was fine. I have mixed feelings about it. At least it's a lot cleaner than a brush.

it's made for acne because sponge applicators store germs even after washed from pimples whereas silicone is more hygienic.
Try putting the foundation on the silicone then apply to your face then taking the silicone and smear it all over your face. Then dab it in. That seems to work the best for other people💓💓
I seen Jefree Star review it and I think he didn't pat it on his face but smeared it around? and it worked good. But I guess it works differently on acne skin.

In other reviews they put the foundation on the sponge, smeared it, and then blended it in. It worked well for them. I don't know if it is because of the acne or "technique"... thanks for your review though.
I saw an ad for this and it wasn't for acne. It was for being able to get use out of all of the product you put on the applicator instead of having it absorbed like a beauty blender does

Hey, I just thought I could help you a little.. when putting your foundation on don't put the applicator right on your face. The bacteria from the acne will transfer onto your applicator and go right into your foundation bottle which spreads breakouts. Just thought I'd help ya out. Love your videos!💜

I never used the Silicone Sponge, but I do have that same foundation and that foundation works best when its buffed in with a brush. I tried with a beauty blender and it doesn't look so nice because the foundation is very concentrated pigment and it dries too fast. I'm assuming that may be why it's not looking so great, but most people who reviewed the Silicone Sponge found it meh.

I did have a lot of pimples last year, but it ended when I stopped using foundation(I tried tones of different types)^^ I'm really happy now.
When you're done with the syla or W. E sponge it's best to finish with a beauty blender it was just made to waste less makeup.

You're suppose to slide all you foundation with it like as if you were using your fingers and then dab it. Cause it's suppose to help use less foundation and a more natural skin look. And u can also use a beauty blender afterwards to finish it off.
have you ever tried acnefree from walmart or target? the 3 step system worked really well with my acne (i used to have a lot on my forehead). now it's no longer as bad so all i use is the cleanser, and my favorite toner and moisturizer. the main ingredient i believe is benzoyl peroxide, which works better on my skin rather than salacylic acid.

Fei you're so funny lol! I've heard mixed reviews about the silisponge but I sint think that product is for me either. I use the real techniques beauty sponge(the original) and it works wonders! I think the silisponge is more like a gimik than a revolutionary beauty product lol. And gurrrl you're eye makeup has been on fleek these past videos!

I notice that people with more clear skin have better results with the silicone sponge as oppose to people with problematic skin. I tried it and it work perfectly fine on me-actually great. So idk that may be it...
You're such an inspiration to me. Being a teen with acne is hard, but being a grown ass adult with acne is even worse :( But you show me that i can still be confident and beautiful even with a pimply face XD
I'm acne prone and I have a pierced nose and it took a while to blend anything. I don't hate the silisponge but I'm not in love. My pores around my nose were kinda visible(although they regularly are, maybe I suck at applying foundation) and it did suck at covering a giant zit on my cheek but on the smooth areas it was fine. I have mixed feelings about it. At least it's a lot cleaner than a brush.

You're suppose to smear to get an even application then pat into the skin. If you just pat you're just going to get a patchy cakey application

from what ive seen it works best with little swipe motions but also it works better on smoother skin but still isnt the best, one thing it has going for it is being easy to clean but idk
