The reason why the marker disappears is because the oil in the foundation removes it while blending, not because of the coverage. False advertisement!
CharlotteHeron but it is water based foundation. the reason why disappeared was because you used 2 to 3 layers of foundations. this one has medium coverage is not even a full one *sorry for my bad English 😫*

Sarah Proctor yes, but what you see in here is not "oil" she didn't shake it in the proper way (have to pump off the product in the dropper and then shake and it will mix fine ). and if you touch that supposed oil you could easily notice is water. again I speak for own experience not for what I see in the video

Ugh, YES!! I reviewed this like a year ago and I did not like it all. I dont even have flaky skin, but it made my face look dry?.... Beware of younique reps finding this video!!! 😁 They basically told me that I dont know how to use makeup, that my skin is too bad, and that i should have bought the primer, concealer, and brush for the foundation to have looked good. Great, honest review :D

ReallyNissa I did got like the full "kit": the primer, brush, concealer etc; and I as well didn't really liked it, the concealer s great, I use it a lot; but the foundation is very oily , my skin got f**d. I usually mix it with cream foundations to when I want a bigger coverage but when I use it by itself it is a no no from me😂😂

it is so thin I don't think its good for acne prone skin, it will go in between the inflamed pores, however as someone without acne I believe its better.

I just had this happen with my foundation! I sound out it is because my foundation is oil-based and my moisturizer is water-based. I felt like a grade A boob for not remembering that oil and water don't mix. When I applied my foundation, I got the flaky patches and the tiny balls of whatever coming off right away. I wonder if this is what happened here...or maybe it's just poop foundation.
How about trying to fix the redness with the green corrector? idk if you already tried it or someone else said it already but you should really try it. idk much about acne skin but i hope it works. ANYWAYS, GURL, you is beautiful, you is smart and you is important

I get them the worse around my chin, my nose, and my upper lip. And I don't think my skin is usually that dry, but I do live in a desert, so IDK
plushie Had the same problem! Just wait for the moisturizer to set in your skin for a minimum of 15 min. this helped me a lot when I noticed my sunscreen/foundation clumping or flaking. It seems that the contents of the moisturizer sometimes wear off the foundation/sunscreen you're using when layered directly without waiting for it to set! :)
Have you tried exfoliating? Dry patches are there bec of the excessive amount of dead skin. But use gentle exfoliators

I have this exact makeup, with no such issues. It's all in how you apply it, primer, optional concealer for dark circles and pimples and A FEW DROPS of foundation.. if you use half a bottle it will look horrendous... a cost SO much lol!
The brush it comes with helps too as it evens it out to a dry powder finish. I first tried a sample of this foundation with my finger and beauty blender and it looks horrific and was so unsure of it. I took the plunge with the flawless four deal they do and it's so much better.
The "dry" patches will be where it's not on as heavy but has dried to a powder as it's meant to do if you don't try cement it on. Not sure where you got that there isn't any claims of it drying to a powder finish because that's what the liquid foundation does.. The BB cream by younique leaves a dewy finish.
I don't have acne prone skin so can't comment as such on that but when I do have nasty red angry pimples they blend in with this makeup when I wear it..
My honest opinion would be to try applying it properly for a better outcome maybe with the concealer if you want full coverage on really bad skin.
What kind of moisturiser are you using too as they may not mix... The moisturiser is meant to sit and soak in the face before applying anything makeup wise too. And unless you have really dry skin with the acne you do not need to apply moisturiser as it's so bad for acne!
Also, I read a few of the comments.. marker pen coming off with the oil in the product... So y'all didn't see the videos of those people taking the makeup back off after with the marker under no? Or the ones where they covered tattoo's? Doesn't particularly make sense.

I used to get a lot of pimples on my cheeks just like you~ I have very oily skin~ so I stopped moisturizing and also started using vapor rub as a zit zapper it'll calm them down in about two nights and if you get it early it won't scar :)
And I have very sensitive skin~ it give my skin a. Feeling of relief

I love this foundation, it works for me! I use three drops of it on the Younique foundation brush an then dab it everwhere and then start blending it in. But then again everyones skin is different.

I love Fei ALWAYS talks about her "terrible" acne, literally if you never pointed it out I would never bother to notice because her face is too damn cute. ur acne is fine hun we all have acne or do sometime in our lives :)
I used to have TERRIBLE acne and with all of the positive reviews and consultants in my area, I tried it. $40 DOWN THE DRAIN!! Since it's liquid to powder foundation it drys and looks gross! "Photo shop in a bottle" can kiss my tail feathers! 😂😂 you should try their other products though! I've used the concealer and LOVE it!!! It covers up your acne like it ain't no one's business!!
You're suppose to use a minimal amount of the foundation. It only takes a few drops on a brush and then you apply it to your face. I have super bad acne and red skin and it works well for me. I do use a smidge of concealer when I have a volcano that is gonna errupt. I love your videos!
FEI!!! I have acne prone skin and combination skin type. I tried this acne cream from neutrogena called acne control lotion. You're suppose to use it after you wash your face and toner on acne patches and add your moisturizer afterwards. You should try it!! It really worked for me and maybe it could you help too!
I like your honest review, my sister has oily acne prone skin and she buys products that UA-camrs rave about and 90% of the time the products suck.

My mother sells Younique and when that foundation came out she was one of the first to get it, of course she made me try it, I have acne and oily skin and it felt really cakey and heavy.
It works for some people, but not for oily or severe dry skin.
You also need to use concealer for your acne if you want to hide it...

Depends on if you bought it from the actual Younique web page, if you shake it well enough. Plus the concealer is so awesome!! I love this stuff and my skin is so prone to acne!!

gosh girl i feel you! a lot of people loves the Too Faced Born This Way foundation but that shit looks exactly like the effect (flaky and makes your skin more flawful) you shown here! Was so sad cuz i just waste over 40 dollar buying that! I would say the most beautiful finish i have so far is Mac Waterweight Foundation and Maybelline concealer! Those really does makes my skintone looks more healthy and even!

I use this product and have no problems with it and I do have acne prone skin. everyone's skin is different. Make sure you shake it up and empty the dropper before you apply it. I find that a couple of drops of tea tree oil mixed up in the foundation before you apply helps with reducing blocked pores and a couple of drops on clean skin before beds helps too. if tea tree is too strong try seaweed instead. you can get them from the body shop.

Go on Retin-A (tretinoin) or you can get tretinoin on accutane as pill form by your dermatologist. My friend and I had acne like you and it makes a huge difference. It actually evens out the skin layer if you have a lot of holes and it removes scarring and reddness. Its so good that it can be prescribed for stretch marks or wrinkles but its main purpose is acne scarring. I'm not kidding tretinoin was a life changer for me, GOOGLE it!

If you want better results, try using Younique's primer. It's called "Glorious". My mom is a Younique presenter, and she loves it.

yout skin is dry! you keep saying you have oily skin, but its because you over exfoliate, and use a ton of acids. you need to back off them, and use more nourishing vitamin/antioxident ingredients
I think bc you're always trying different stuff on your face and don't have a consistent routine, your skin freaks out and breaks out the way it does
& you should try the plant nanny app for water intake bc it will help your skin
I actually like this foundation,but NOT for the coverage. The coverage sucks! It actually is the only foundation that doesn't irritate my dry skin and feels weightless! I was so disappointed with the coverage

I use this foundation and I love it. I have oily skin, and some acne also. I also still use powder over the foundation to give a finished look. I do still use double matte Estee Lauder face powder. Everyone is different and not everyone will like the same products.

After suffering 10 years from acne i finally went to my dermatologist and he gave me pills that are called "cycopel". I have to take them for two months and have been using them for three weeks now and my skin has never been better. He also gave me a gel for my skin called "epiduo". This gel i have to use till I die but i have to say that this gel really is gentle and absorbs quickly into the skin if you spread a thin layer over your acne areas. Those two things give me super dry skin yes but i prefer that instead of having acne all over my face. I just use sheet masks more often to give my skin more moisture and drink lots of water to fight the dryness. But feii if you can get your hands on this you may want to try them.
FEI!! You should try Bubzbeauty's (really really old) video about a natural oatmeal face wash! It is my holy grail when it comes to clearing pimples and red spots. Literally, I keep an entire tub of oats in my bathroom because of this.
