Great little engine, mines a 1915 with air cooled head it's not a float in the check valve,, it's a ball bearing. I dont mess around holding the valve in when starting mine, I just turn the fuel knob to 5 and it fires up second swing then i turn the knob back down until it stops smoking but not too much or it only fires every other strike.
Hi great video, having igniter problems with mine would you mind telling me how the points operate on the ratchet arm. If you haven’t taken one apart can you film the igniter working while the engine is running? Many thanks.
