Hey Tamik very nice Speedfight ! So the pilot jet is the one that come with the carb ? I ask because I have just brought the same set up but I have stage 6 pro variator and 13/43 stage 6 gear up kit . Hopefully mine will be just like yours 😊👍🏼
Thank you man. The pilot jet is the one that is used for low to mid range rpm and the main/power jet is the one that works when you open throttle fully. And good luck with your scooter, it should be quicker considering that my transmission was stock except for kevlar belt.
Tamik TV yea man I have done a few air cooled Speedfight 3 model but never Speedfight 2 lc and had them going 80 mph but I was woundering if u left the pilot that came with the carb as size if 50 pilot and with my builds I end up around 38-42 I have never had one run like yours on 50 pilot jet that's why I ask

i just pulled out the v ring its called in swedish and it goes to 75 but slow. so what do i need to change the pilot jet?
Change the stock carburetor. Go with a 17mm carb if you have stock cylinder head. In case you go for 70cc you need 19mm minimum, better 21mm . In this video i had a Dellorto 19mm carb. And to chabge the pilot jet you need to open the carb and change the pilot jet lol

Back in 2009 there used to be a Peugeot dealer/representative in Montreal, I ordered it through them and they imported it from France. 3500$ new, still have it today with only 1400kms lol

Thats determined by many factors like humidity(weather), altitude, testing from smaller to larger jet and stopping where the performance and engine response is best. Rrading the colour of spark plugs tip helps too. I think i ended up using 98-100 main jet. When the scooter runs perfect with 100 main jet in hot weather it will need to be upgraded to a bigger one like 103-105 for the cold weather, because the different concentration of water in the oxygen

That's what I have ordered .
Thats a nice set up. You should be able to have your scooter as fast or faster than mine if you install everything properly. Having a tuned variator and rollers will allow you to have faster acceleration.

i get around 150km on full tank. but always go around 90kmh though

I wanna install malossi crankshaft and primarry transmission 15/33. You think i will see a good amount if increase in acceleration and top speed?
Tempted to tune my 50cc sf like this, but in my country u will lose ur drivers license and ur scooter confiscated if caught by the cops (on top of the speeding ticket!) 😢😢
