the worst part about streak ending is the fact that Lesnar was the one to end it. he had nothing to gain from it, he already was a made man, everyone knew who Brock Lesnar was.
There was no point in having an up and comer breaking it and losing the fans popularity
Should’ve just been Roman. Not Brock.
Brock was also booked terribly, the reason to end the streak is because he had been booked to lose 3 out of the 5 matches he had before this, so it was made to book him as a monster after
Totally agree, Lesnar did not need the win, the streak should have stayed undefeated.
Brock is the man . Of course he should have ended the streak. Also if you look back. Brock was always that guy the Undertaker could never beat . Think Raven and Tommy Dreamer. So it makes logical sense for Brock to end Undertakers streak.
I always had the opinion that this Mania was only beloved by many because of Daniel Bryan, literally nothing else
Overrated mania. Besides the Bryan matches, the card is pretty bad. I think Mania 31 clears this one easily
Honestly, I still enjoy this Mania thoroughly to this day
@@FreeTaylorSwiftMania 31 absolutely cooks mania 30 in every single way.
30 was basically all about Daniel Bryan. Him winning the championship and the streak were the only major moments (maybe Cesaro body slamming big show)
31? One of the worst build ups in history, banger Ladder match opener, Banger HHH vs Sting with the wrong outcome, Banger Randy vs Seth, Good segments with Rock and Ronda, banger tag matches and one of the best WrestleMania main events and finishes of all time.
@eddygm886 that's literally the only reason why and I honestly wasn't rooting for bryan the fans over did it with bryan he shouldn't of been able to steal batistas moment they should've made the audience wait for Byrans time they should've kept bryan in the match but made bryan come short becoz of the damage triple H did to bryan during their match and had batista win the title during that match then had given Daniel bryan a opportunity for the title and had a feud with him for a few months I reckon they should've feuded all the way to summerslam and had bryan win there if WWE wanted to give into the byran hype, there's also a conspiracy theory when bryan relinquished the title bcoz he was forced to do so from vince mcmahon and had given bryan the intercontinental champ as compensation when he had to stay out of the ring it was to stay away to make it seem legit that he was actually injured look at bryan when he came back he wreslted the same look at edge it took him 10 years to come back bryan had the worst neck injury according 2 him and the WWE I seemed he recovered too fast but idk i don't believe that theory but it could be a possibility. Watch that video WWE iceberg the thumbnail is an iceberg and chris benoit on the cover aswell it's a very long video but there's some conspiracy theory's that really itch your brain you're gonna look at this from a Whole new perspective for exanple in the video one theory is vince mcmahon had killed Owen Heart bcoz of how he injured stone cold and injured many other wrestlers from not listening to the backstage being all arrogant so he had that zipline played with right before he went out I believe the part where vince played with it bcoz no zipline is just ginna be faulty just like that, all these allegations are coming out about vince I wouldmf be suprised If him being a murderer is another among that list.
@shayanshaikh534 for the life of me, I only remember one tag match and that was the women's match. Or are you talking about the pre show tag match?
I remember going to school the next day and explaining how Brock couldn’t defeat Triple H from WM 29, and how Triple H lost to The Undertaker 3 times, so if Triple H could beat Brock but lose to The Undertaker, how did Brock beat The Undertaker if he couldn’t beat Triple H, I was in the 5th grade and it was still real to me damn it!
It didn't make sense no matter if it's real or a performance - even stories need to be consistant. Which is why WWE has been only declining the last 10 years.
Brock is the man . Of course he should have ended the streak. Also if you look back. Brock was always that guy the Undertaker could never beat . Think Raven and Tommy Dreamer. So it makes logical sense for Brock to end Undertakers streak.
@@robertlawrence4719 Not really. Someone who could replace the Undertaker, or someone equally as legendary as him from the attitude era should have ended the streak if ever. Not part timers like Brock Lesnar who go in and out of WWE as they please - besides he is about as distinctive in the ring as Goldberg, and had no better character gimmick than him. Lesnar got to end the streak, cuz WWE was desparately pushing him.
@@meganoobbg3387 could u imagine if CM Punk broke The Streak at Wrestlemania 29 or if Bray Wyatt broke The Streak at Wrestlemania 31
@@spjulyer3124 I fail to see how those would be a worse choice than Brock tbh. Brock's whole success in WWE is solely due to getting more pushes than anyone else in the company. Mason Ryan (the Batista clone), Ryback, Big E, Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman - all of those would be as successful as Brock, if they got atleast half the push he did.
The Streak shouldn't have never been broken!
He should've retired after Wrestlemania 30 Streak ending or not....

@@GoldSpider55047bro undertaker vs bray was cool taker vs john cena was just a fun moment taker vs shane taker vs aj styles if it wasn’t the pandemic they could have let taker retire with a match that was great like his match vs hbk
Yes it should’ve. But not Brock Lesnar
I'm fine with the streak ending but I think he should have retired after that. Undertaker after WM30 just wasn't the same. He lost his menacing look and started to look like a grandpa instead. It was just a downward spiral from that point on and never should've happened.
I still stand with my opinion 10 years later that ending The Undertaker's streak is one of the worst decisions WWE ever made.
"Wrestlemania 30 is so great..."

I spent an exorbitant amount of money for great tickets to WM30 after i was out of if the military, and was instantly disappointed. Looking back, i can say i was there when the streak died, i got to shake warriors hand less than 48 hours before his passing, i had a marg with ADR on bourbon street, and i saw john cenas dad rap outside a restaurant. Looking back a decade later, it was something ill never forget. My mania moment.

It should had been John Cena. He was the face of WWE since 2005. A rising star would be risky if had failed push.

this was the last WrestleMania i watched, 10 year old me was heartbroken that undertaker lost😭💀 im trying to get back into things tho, definitely gonna watch WrestleMania 40
I’ll always hold this wrestlemania near and dear to my heart because it was the first ever one I watched live I never kept up with the new stuff back then mostly because of my family not having cable and I was left with the WWE home video releases which usually consisted of whatever 80s wrestling stuff my stepdad had like hulk hogan, Ric flair, dusty etc. but one I do remember watching all the and was the only modern one out of the bunch was John cena and when I figured out that he was on that WM I was hyped and oddly enough I also found the love of Bray Wyatt just seeing him for the first time gave me such fear and intrigue after that I never turned off a light without saying “we’re here” in my best impression of him we miss you Bray rest easy ❤
I remember watching that 3 count
I think I forgot to breathe for 10 seconds
I thought earth was going to rewind just to correct what just transpired
Long back I'm a little stunned Vince even entertained the idea of breaking the streak. I know a HUGE part of the reason was Taker himself hated it, wanted it gone as far back as Orton at WM21, but WWE were never going to position someone effectively enough to get the right type of rub from that accomplishment. The only feasible way it could've been done in a productive manner was never on the table - using it as Cena's heel turn moment!
Man i can only imagine if one of these matches happened:
WWE Championship:
Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton
World Heavyweight Championship:
Brock Lesnar vs Batista vs John Cena
Shawn Micheals, Mick Foley, & The Rock vs The Shield
*impromptu 6 man tag team match*
CM Punk vs Triple H
*Hell In A Cell Match*
Bray Wyatt vs The Undertaker
10 years since the streak ended
Have you picked up on the excitement surrounding VideoGPT? It's reshaping the landscape of video creativity.
4 DECADES OF WRESTLEMANIA
Btw Man I hope you haven't quit on 2k24 already. I really love your MyGM videos(or any WWE game videos). They don't have to be super long, 6 weeks of booking and all the PPVs, but even do 10 minutes, a few shows would be fine.
Great video, dawg 👍
@TheGreatOneYT I personally believe the only person that ever got a decent push after winning the Andre the giant memorial battle royal was jey uso He went on to be the longest reigning tag champions with this brother faced roman reigns multiple times for the title and became a solo main eventer and has been involved in multiple wrestlemania main events
I mean, tbf it would’ve been a bit anti-climactic had Bryan not enthusiastically celebrated after the victory and had instead been stretchered out while merely giving the fans a thumbs up while the paramedics carry his titles for him 😅
i have been saying this for a minute the only reason this wrestlemania is good is because of the whole daniel bryan story everything else was awful/bad
I still remember that moment the streak ended. I was on my way to work watching WrestleMania on my phone and as soon as it happens I froze. Like it took a few minutes to hit me and sink in and I dropped my phone mad af! I had called my brother and friends to see if they saw and they might have been more upset and we just ranted for most the rest of the show. Even with Daniel Bryan winning it didn't help and even took away from the match and moment Bryan won. Not only did WWE still screwed Bryan in a sense of overshadowing his moment but WrestleMania 30 pretty much was just the night the undertaker streak died that's it that's all 30 has been remembered for.
to make maters worse about the brock lesnar daniel bryan situation, they intentionally actually did it, because vince wanted to have brock win the titles from daniel bryan by booking daniel bryan in a squash match with brock in summerslam 2014, but bryan got injured so cena took it, and cena was the right guy to replace him too, but vince wanted to do that to punish the people who got behind daniel bryan and forced him to call an audible
HEY GREAT ONE I LOVE YOUR VIDS
Will we get a smack Down review?
They should give the winner of the Andre the Giant BR a title shot the next Raw after mania. Any title they want but they have to go for it on that Raw. It would make winning the trophy worth something and create interesting matches.
I was in high school and my friend's and I would take the day off school (time zone) to watch WrestleMania every year. This was the last one we watched actually. Undertakers streak ended and none of us even finished the show
Let the man finish his story in 2 days🗣️🔥

I am kind of a newbie in the world of WWE. What kind of streak was it? Like the same as Roman Reigns streak? 21 matches isn't that much then right?

It should’ve been my glorious Tribal Chief ending Undertakers streak
The thing I hated most about this mania wasnt that they chose to beat the streak, its that they chose Lesnar to do it. But then again if they had roman do it a few years later that wouldve been predictable af
do you get your ideas from Santizap?
Who shouldve won ,
UNDERTAKER or BROCK LESNAR
Brock
I think even Daniel Bryan questioned why they didn’t have him sell lmaooo
Vince before WM 30: "I think its a good idea for Brock Lesnar to end the streak..."
Vince 1 second after WM 30: "Ohh shit, i forgot we need Undertaker to carry next Wrestlemania too!"
Paul Heyman just mentioned brock lesnar at the hall of fame.
Rip conor 💔
The streak never should have been broken. I'm definitely not the only one to think so.
There will never be a more shocking moment in WWE than Undertaker's streak ending. Even the close 2 counts after Lesnar hit F5s barely got a reaction as people assumed there was no way Taker was gonna lose
What yall think about the stage
Beautiful stage
My fav wrestlemaina was 32 the triple h and roman rivelry was my favourite
Don't forget. Matches like the Andre Battle Royale aren't really meant to get someone over. Its to get the rest of the roster on the card to get a WrestleMania payday. Would it be nice if the winner got as push as well? Sure but Vince was in charge at the time so that speaks volumes. Its really for the payday with everyone involved.
Pls do WM31
Undertaker is tetchy 23 and 0 before roman broke the streak
Vince McMahon's decision to end The Undertaker's Wrestlemania undefeated Streak was the biggest mistake in WWE history. Taker should've been booked to win the match. Brock didn't need the win. Undetaker's still undefeated in my version.
0:44 TO BE FAIR...the inaugural Battle Royale was amazing, which is the only good thing you can say about it 😂
Can we get a wrestlemania tier list
The Wrestlemania that drove me away from WWE as a ten year old kid. CM Punk leaving was bad enough for me, Undertaker losing his streak to Brock Lesnar? That sealed the deal.
Dang, both this and 20 are the most cursed Wrestlemania's at this point, can't wait for 40 to be like this.
I had told my friends I believed the streak was over when I got the game because I remember at the time they just released the streak on Netflix where you can watch every match wwe 2k14 had a defeat the streak mode all this to me signaled the beginning of the end hints it would end and none of them believed me
Aged horrible!? I thought outside the first and last match was average back when it happened.
Omg. Imagine Taker in WM40 with his streak intact. Would have added even more flair to the story.
Brock who?
Wwe: “Exactly “
Undertaker should’ve retired after WM 29
Watch us be at Wrestlemania 50 in the next month, i still remember watching Wrestlemania 30 like it was last week🤣
So you are 24 and already married and father great. I would love to hear about the great one's life story as 500k special.
Sounds like a sad waste to me,i am 24 and i am trying to have as much fun with as many women as possible while i am young.
Love your vids
It was a Daniel Bryan show. A classic between Triple H and Daniel Bryan and a great main event with a great moment. That's what this show is. And that's how it should be remembered. Yes, I too had a problem with how Danielson completely "forgot" his injury after winning the title. But the opener makes up for it I guess. Pure wrestling classic. It was what it was. This revisionism I'm seeing these days is definitely weird. It was never as good as 17-21. People just loved Daniel Bryan living the moment.
9:55 they had no chance. The women had no chance. And Tenille Dashwood, formerly Emma, even said so when she sat down with Chris Van Vliet
The whole brock lesnar and vince situation has made this worse for the streak being defeated till this day i hate how it turned out but they cant give the undertaker a 10 minute match for one of the most anticipated undertaker wrestlemania matches of that decade was going up against john cena it had to end up being a squash match like cmon he squashes john cena by that logic the undertaker shouldve destroyed roman reigns at that point like cmon man vince really ruined the last few WM for the Undertaker damn man im still devastated till this day about it
Ok the actual WrestleMania was memorable but it hasn't aged as gracefully as we thought it would.❤
I'm glad Paul Heyman included Brock Lesnar in his HOF speech
Wow, 10 years ago.😳
Best part about Hulk calling it the Silverdome is that he messed up again at Wrestlemania 35 when he called Metlife stadium the Metlife Center. It seems like a smaller slip up in comparison, but it's about as bad for different reason. Because you realize the name is literally written in big white letters inside the stadium, and he still slipped
Being politically correct doesn't work for him brother
At least some superstars got pushed. Didn’t at one point jey won the Andre the giant battle Royal and he got push.

Wrestlemania 40 stage opinions
not as bad as peeps but saying not last years or 33 level. I like the logo though
Reminds of Wrestlemania 28 and 31 and the green is a nice touch not a bad stage. However I’ve seen better like last years, WM29, and 33.
For such a big moment in takers career the fact that he doesnt remember it is so crazy
do a review on WM 24 next
To me this was a great WrestleMania starting and ending with 2 great matches. It’s refreshing looking back at a one night mania with a relatively small card and a 4 hour run time.
Watching the streak end as a child made me completely reevaluate what wrestling even “is”, and now I have a whole new perspective and understanding.
The wwe should have found someone who was loyal and dedicated to the company for the end of the streak not just some guy who comes along every now and again.
Sheamus, Cesaro, Big E, Kofi, rusev, Adrian Neville and many more could have ended that streak
Not for me it hasn't. The things about it that don't work now I didn't like at the time either - I never thought Taker's streak should've been broken, still think Cena/Wyatt was a good match but wrong guy won & I've never been a fan of over the top tope battle royals that aren't the Royal Rumble.
The show's about Bryan & the culmination of that story which still holds up.
bryan's story alone doesn't make it a good overall show. And even worse if you're not a huge daniel bryan fan, it could easily be considered average for one's standards.
Memories of WrestleMania 30 is still fresh like it just happened yesterday 🥲
Pls do a reaction for wrestlemania 25
To this day, I still wish the Undertaker would've won and extended his streak to 22-0. I was so devastated by the end of the streak, I literally considered not continuing the show but my brother persisted on keep watching it but yeah, I was just not into it and I cried my self to sleep that night.
Crazy how we didn't get the IC OR US title on this show
If I were in control, Undertaker would've been 22-0 going into the Bray Wyatt match, and Bray should've won as a passing of the torch. Maybe even do Bray vs. Taker at a later show if you want it to go that long. I firmly believe Bray should've gotten that spot though. He was mega over from beginning to end, and it's just something he should've done.
That was my worst wrestlemania…
Can you please do wrestlemania 24 as next?
