10:46 That pic was made by me! Unfortunately my old Reddit account was deleted but I still have the images on my computer somewhere. I find it so fun when something I made about something so niche actually ends up being referenced somewhere. Great video btw.
Well done, it was worth the wait! Assuming the broadcast dates stayed roughly where they'd been in previous seasons, I imagine Season 28 would've looked something like this: 'The Last of the Daleks' by Ben Aaronovitch -Part One (broadcast 4th September 1991) -Part Two (broadcast 11th September 1991) -Part Three (broadcast 18th September 1991) -Part Four (broadcast 25th September 1991) 'Night Thoughts' by Ed Young -Part One (broadcast 2nd October 1991) -Part Two (broadcast 9th October 1991) -Part Three (broadcast 16th October 1991) -Part Four (broadcast 23rd October 1991) 'Illegal Alien' by Mike Tucker and Robert Perry -Part One (broadcast 30th October 1991) -Part Two (broadcast 6th November 1991) -Part Three (broadcast 13th November 1991) 'Blood and Iron' by Andrew Cartmel -Part One (broadcast 20th November 1991) -Part Two (broadcast 27th November 1991) -Part Three (broadcast 4th December 1991)
11:52 Fun Fact: I actually had a hand in making your title sequence. I requested a title for Alixion with Sylvester McCoy and someone in the comments of that video requested a version with Richard Griffiths face. Pretty cool that I was somehow involved in this series.
@@BillWhovian A Doctor Who series set in the 1910s would certainly be wild, and Charlie Chaplin's slapstick would be fun to watch for the doctor's antics
I feel as more people have two TVs in there homes, Coronation street and Doctor who sharing the same time slot would be less impactful on ratings because each TV could have either show on it.
I want season 29. Then i want a season 30 co-produced with Amblin. Then season 31. Just promise me that the doctor will never regenerate into Jim Bowen.
Season 29 won't be out for a few months yet. Same for Season 30. I don't know about any coproduction deal yet. Definitely no Jim Bowen as the Doctor at any point. I don't know why that would even be a thing anyway?
@@BillWhovian Oh no, It wouldn't be a thing in any Universe, i was just trying to think of the most inappropriate 80s casting for the doctor. Since i wrote this, i've thought of several much worse castings. Jim Bowen wouldn't be that bad relatively speaking.
I did have a suggestion for who this worlds ninth doctor could be, considering that Sidney Normen did consider Joana Lumley for the role of the doctor during the 80s. It wouldn’t to crazy for them to cast a women in the role in the mid to late 90s. Do what you want though.

Oh wow sorry I didn't know. I would’ve credited you if I'd known. But I'm glad that you enjoyed the video as well as seeing your picture 🙂

Oh nice! Yeah the face part is obviously from Mergaman4's video, whilst the rest was done separately. :)
I don't know if The Doctor would have been kind, this was the doctor who locked his nephew in the cuppard
This one was described as sort of like Indiana Jones dad
Absolutely fantastic video. I really enjoyed this video truly worth the wait 😊👍
Think I just want that doctor to have said “I use to cry at the sight of butcher shops
given how Richard Griffiths was born to deaf parents it would be interesting to see 8 use sign langauge.
Amazing video!!! Well worth the wait!
Fascinating videos! A lot of effort was put it this!
I have an idea: What if Doctor Who was played by Charlie Chaplin?
Thank you! Why Chaplin? 🤔

Is he saying that because Patrick Troughton looked like Charlie chaplin
I'm guessing so
Wayyyyyyyyy excited for this

@@TheAustralianMapper5378 Maybe, but I don’t know how many people in the UK had more than one TV in 1991. I'd need to research that

@TheAustralianMapper5378 I can't give anything away, but yes I do think a female Doctor in the late 90's is possible :)
Dr Meinheimer
55 minutes😮
I did warn you all in one of my Community tab posts to be fair lol :)
