I'm sorry but the indian girl with long, beautiful curly hair looks much worse after cutting. I generally like short hair becouse they add something interesting and fresh to the look, but in that case they just took away her natural uniqueness. She is a stunnig girl tho before and after.

I agree. It's very aggressive to cut people's hair like that, it can break someone's spirit. And it's "only hair" when your carrier doesn't depend manly on your look. For them it brings also a profissional anxiety.
I think part of the reason as to why they cut the girls hair so out of the blue like that is because in the fashion industry, trends can come and go quickly and so the girls have to be prepared to be in a harsh field like that.
Um I'm not sure if it's just me but this girls don't look like models. It looks like they just went through a makeover. Usually the makeovers elevate the models but some of them look like they just got a mom makeover.
Hairstylist are not dermatologist and will go full on coloring, cutting and bleaching hair just to get that look that they don't really mind about the damage that it will make for the model. I feel like the made such extreme hairstyles and bleached her hair on purpose to have them crying on tv

Honestly it seems unfair to me that a requirement of appearing on ANTM is being required to lose all your hair if someone feels like chopping it off. If you're first or second to go home, you might end up looking awful for nothing. Models should have some say in the process.
Almost all of them look exactly the same if not worse. The only one who got something completely different was the last girl. So sad they couldn't get her friends or family there.

Why always cutting their long hair short? i mean... we had this dutch show, looking for models on the street . They picked a beautiful girl with long long hair, healthy hair. So stunning, they cutted it all short like, man-short. they didn't even choose her lol i felt soooo bad for her :'(
