Planning a gearbox oil change this summer. This weekend I'm replacing rear anti roll bar bushings as well as rear discs and pads, will do the same one the front following weekend.
Where did you get the aftermarket black twin drink/ pen holder from. I’m desperate for one in mine. Great video, that’s nexts weekends job, oil change!
Hey mate i have 2020 Renault master van semi automatic 2.3 l torbo diesel and i couldn't find anywhere on the manual boook on transmission oil change, how often should i change the transmission oil for my Renault master?
What is the oil flow'er? Thought most gearbox just bathe their gears in the oil. Mines an ex ambulance with 300k on it. I bought it from the same company that owned it since new, point being when i changed my gearbox oil i checked the level first and it was flush with the fill plug, i just did the same and filled it back up to the fill plug. It probably took around 2.7-2.8l
Yeah on the video I should have said oil flinger not thrower, but same thing really, as it spins It flings oil up to lube the 6th gear beari gs, and you are right the 6speed box should trickle out the filler with 2.7 litres exactly, older 5speed box's need a special dipstick as the level sits just below the filler hole.👍🏻
After completely emptying the gearbox, find the filler/level plastic wing nut looking thing in the side of the box, remove it and pour oil in 2.7 litres exactly or until it runs back of the hole then put the bolt back in.👍🏻

theres a sticker on mine saying do not fill from overflow,,,, there is a pipe under the hood to fill it but am scared of over filling it? confused,com
